Editing your photo album cover

You can customize the information that appears on the cover of your photo album by changing the title and button text. You can also choose to add additional information to your cover, such as a wedding date, or venue name etc.

To edit your album's cover:

1. Go to Photo Albums in your site's dashboard.

2. Click Manage Album next to the relevant album.

3. Click Edit at the top right.

4. Click Media on the left.

5. Hover over the album cover and click Change Photo.

6. Upload the relevant image.

7. Click Text.

8. Click the Cover tab.

9. Edit your cover information:Album title: Click the text box to add or change the title of your album.
   Button text: Click the text box to add or change the text of the button that appears on your album cover.
   More info: Click the toggle to add additional information, e.g, wedding date.
   Business info: Click the toggle to add your business name or logo.
   Note: The logo should be 300 x 100 px. We recommend it to be in PNG format.
   

10. Click Design on the left.

11. Click Layouts.

12. Click the Cover tab.

13. Select a layout for your cover.

14. Click Back to design.

15. Click Colors.

16. Click the Cover tab.

17. Customize the colors for your text and background.

18. Click Publish Now at the top right.

Note:

Animations do not apply to cover images.

How can I change my font style and color?

You can customize the font style or color of the text on your album cover, in the Design tab. Select the element you want to adjust, and then click the Cover tab at the top to view the available options.

If I make a change, is it saved automatically?

Yes, changes are saved automatically. However, in order to see the change on your live site, you need to click Publish Now at the top right of your album editor.

Why do I have a Wix Promo banner on my album?

Photo albums published to free sites without a custom domain or premium plan display a Wix promo banner at the top, similar to other site pages.

Is the name of the album important?

Yes. The album name you choose is part of your photo album URL, for example:

• Free site: https://mystunningwebsite.wixsite.com/album-name.

• Premium site: https://album-name.mystunningwebsite.com/
