Use Different SEO Title Tags for Different Pages

It is important to keep each SEO title tag unique for each of your website’s pages. Using the same title tag for more than one page makes it difficult for search engines to show visitors relevant pages and can prevent people from clicking on your website.

If you use the same title tags and meta descriptions for multiple pages, you will see an error message about this in the SEO checklist.

Tips for Writing Effective SEO Title Tags

  • Each title tag should be unique and provide concise information about what the page is about.

  • Add a target keyword for each individual page of your website.

  • Add your company or city name.

  • Add your business location to the title tag of your homepage. This helps Google show your website to searchers in your area.

  • The length of your title tag should be 55-70 characters.
Use the pipe character '|' to separate different parts of the title.
