Customize the settings of your Wix Video player to make sure your videos display exactly how you want them to. Choose the best layout for your player and decide to play a channel of videos or just one video.
Video quality (resolution) control for mobile iOS users
The native iOS Safari player on mobile doesn't support viewers changing video quality. If you set up your player to allow viewers to control video quality, this will not be possible for mobile iOS users.

Changing your player settings when playing a channel
When you play a channel of videos in the Wix Video player, you can choose from several layouts. The type of layout you choose determines the settings you can customize.
To change your player settings when playing a channel:
Click the Wix Video player.
Click Settings.
Note: Make sure Channel is selected on the Videos tab.Click the Layout tab and choose the layout you want to use.
Click the Player tab.
Customize your player settings. These will be different for each layout. Click below to view the settings for each layout:
Classic
Autoplay on load: Enable or disable automatic playback.
What's on the video while playing?: Choose what you'd like to display:
Video title: Show the video title while the video plays.
Info icon: Show the Info icon
while the video plays.Share icon: Show the Share icon
while the video plays.
What can viewers control?: Choose the controls you make available:
Playback speed: Allow the viewer to play the video at a faster speed.
Quality: Allow the viewer to choose a lower video quality to prevent lags if their internet connection is slow.
When the video ends: Select what will happen when the video finishes: Show video cover, Open action cards or Play next video.
Note: Click the Wix Video player in your Editor and then Manage Videos to create and manage action cards.
Comments: Enable the comments toggles to Allow on uploaded videos or Allow during live stream.
Compact

Changing your player settings when playing one video
By default, Wix Video displays a channel of videos. You can choose to show only one video in the player and customize the settings of the player.
To change your player settings when playing one video:
Click the Wix Video player.
Click Settings.
Note: Make sure Single video is selected on the Videos tab.Click the Layout tab and choose Compact or Strip as the the layout you want to use.
