Wix Retail POS: Managing Your Store Catalog

The catalog in your POS tablet displays all your store products and categories, services created through Wix Bookings, as well as discounts and gift cards.

Creating store products

You can add store products to your catalog at any time. Create a new product, add relevant information about it, and then decide whether to display it in your online store.

Notes:

• Products that you create on the tablet also appear on your live site on desktop. You can hide them from your store via your site's dashboard.

• To add product options (e.g. size, color) to a product, go to desktop. After the variants have been created, you can make changes to them on the tablet.

To create new store products:

1. Open the POS tablet.

2. Tap the main menu icon at the bottom left.

3. Tap Catalog.

4. Tap Add a Product or tap +New Product at the top right.

5. Enter your product's name and price.

6. (Optional) Add a sale price:Tap the On Sale toggle.
   Select a discount type (percent or amount)
   Enter to discount.
   

7. Tap Add Images on the right to select an image to display.
   Note: To upload images, go to desktop.

8. Set where the product is displayed:Tap the Point of Sale toggle to show or hide the product in the tablet.
   Tap the Online Store toggle to show or hide the product on your live site.
   

9. Manage inventory for products without product options:
   Add an SKU:Tap and enter an SKU number or tap the Barcode iconand scan the barcode.
   Tap Save.
   
   Set how you track inventory:
   Track inventory amounts:Tap the Track Inventory toggle to enable it.
   Enter the product's inventory amount.
   
   Mark inventory as In Stock / Out of Stock:Tap the Track Inventory toggle to disable it.
   Select the product's inventory status from the Status drop-down.
   

10. Add the product to a tax group you created:
    Note: Tax groups can only be created on desktop. Learn more about tax groupsTap Add to Tax Group.
    Select the relevant tax group.
    Tap Done.
    

11. Add the product to categories:Tap the Plus icon  .
    Select the checkboxes next to the relevant categories.
    Tap Done.
    

12. Tap Save at the top right.

Creating store categories

Give your new category a name and start adding store products to it. You can add more products to your category at any time.

Note:

Categories that you create from the tablet also appear on your live site on desktop. You can hide them from your store via your site's dashboard.

To create store categories:

1. Open the POS tablet.

2. Tap the main menu icon at the bottom left.

3. Tap Catalog.

4. Tap Categories on the left.

5. Tap + New Category.

6. Enter a name for your category and tap Save.

7. (Optional) Add products to your new category:Tap Add Products.
   Select the checkboxes next to the products you want to add.
   Note: You can use the search bar to find specific products.
   Tap Add at the top right.
   

Viewing Wix Bookings services

You can create new services only on desktop or from the Wix app. In the Services tab of the catalog, you can view all your existing services.

Tip:

If you have more than one business location, you'll be able to view the services offered at each location.

Creating discounts

Create and save discounts that you use repeatedly so you can quickly apply them at checkout. Choose whether you want to create a price discount (e.g. $10 off) or a percentage type discount (e.g. 20% off).

To create and save discounts:

1. Open the POS tablet.

2. Tap the main menu icon at the bottom left.

3. Tap Catalog.

4. Tap Discounts on the left.

5. Tap New Discount.

6. Enter a name for your discount (e.g. First Time Customer, 2 Items and Up, etc.)

7. Choose your discount type:Price discount: Enter the amount and tap the Dollar icon $.
   Percentage discount: Enter the percentage and tap the Percent icon %.
   

8. Tap Save at the top right.
