ICANN: Confirming Your Domain Contact Information
All domain registrants are required to confirm their domain contact information within 2 weeks after being registered as the owner. This is as a result of the rules of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN).
If your contact information has not been confirmed for a Wix domain, or a domain transferred to Wix, then a confirmation email is sent to your domain contact email address.
Important:
Do not use AOL or Yahoo email addresses for the domain registrant email as they can cause issues with the verification process.

Note: This is the email address you used to register your domain. You can view your domain's contact email address from the Domains page in your Wix account.Click Confirm in the email sent to you titled Confirm Your Domain Contact Information (sent from wix-team@notifications.wix.com).
Didn't receive an email?
You can resent the email the Domains page in your Wix account. Click Resend Confirmation Email under the relevant domain, then check your inbox for the confirmation email.

What happens if I don't confirm my domain's contact email address?
Your domain will be deactivated if you don't confirm your contact information within the first 14 days. An email is sent up to 4 times before the domain is deactivated.
Can I use a custom email connected to the domain I am confirming, as the domain contact email?
You may be using a custom mailbox which is connected to the domain you're confirming. If so, be aware that, if your domain goes offline due to the contact email not being confirmed, your mailbox also goes offline. If this happens, we are unable to resend you another confirmation email. For this reason, we recommend using a free, generic email, such as gmail.
How long does it take for my domain contact email to be confirmed if my domain was deactivated?
If your domain was deactivated, it may take up to 48 hours for your domain to propagate once you confirm your contact information.
