Wix Art Store: Choosing What Types of Files to Sell

Important:

Wix Art Store is currently not available to all users. As of October 2022 it is no longer possible to add the Wix Art Store to your site. Alternatively, you can add Wix Stores to your site and connect it to Printful to sell your art.

You've set up your Wix Art Store to sell your work. Now you need to choose how you are going to fulfill orders. Answering that question depends on what kind of products you will primarily be selling.

What should you choose?

For digital files only: Wix

Through Wix, there are several flexible options for how you distribute content:

• Create custom licensing options or choose from prewritten terms.

• Sell your work without extra fees.

• Automatically send your customers their image files by email.

• Sell to customers around the world.

• Choose from a wide variety of payment methods.

For digital files and physical prints: Order a Print

Order a Print is a third-party service that automates the processing and shipping of physical prints.

• Aside from standard paper, your work can be produced on metal, canvas and more.

• Additionally, customers can also print your work on other products like mugs and phone covers. (There is currently no option to print on apparel.)For their full catalog, click here.
  

• Order a Print has standard prices and taxes for its products, and you set your profit margin.

• From time to time, Order a Print give special offers and promotions that will reduce the price of products offered through your store, without effect on your profit margin.

Note: There are several limitations you should be aware of:

• This service only supports PayPal.

• Customers only see products available in their location. Certain products cannot be shipped worldwide.

• You can sell digital files through Order a print, but you cannot create customized licensing terms.

To choose how you want to sell your images:

1. Click the Wix Art Store app in the Editor.

2. Click Settings.

3. Click Set Up Store.

4. Click Start Now.

5. Select an option:Sell Digital: You can sell digital images only.
   Sell Digital & Print: You can sell digital and print images.
   

6. Click OK.

Note:

You can only offer one of the above options per site. If you selected the wrong option, click Change at the bottom of the panel. This changes all the Wix Art Store apps on your site. Your past orders and store data are saved in case you decide to change back.
