Disconnecting a Channel in the Channel Manager (HotelRunner)

You can disconnect a specific channel from the Channel Manager if you no longer wish for it to sync with your Wix site. If you want to stop syncing your site completely, make sure to disconnect all channels.

Important:

This article refers to the original Wix Hotels. If you are using the new Wix Hotels by HotelRunner, which is not yet available to all users, please read the information here. Learn how to check which version of Wix Hotels you are using.

In order to disconnect a channel, you must deactivate it from inside your account on the relevant channel. Click the channel you want to disconnect to learn more.

Booking.com

1. Go to admin.booking.com.

2. Click Account.

3. Go to Channel Manager.

4. Click Deactivate.

Airbnb (API)

1. Login your Airbnb host account.

2. Click ACCOUNT under your profile picture.

3. Click Privacy & Sharing.

4. Remove "Hotel Runner" from the connected apps section.

Expedia

Please call your channel account manager and ask them to deactivate the HotelRunner for you.

Other OTA's

Please call your channel account manager and ask them to deactivate the HotelRunner for you.

iCals

1. Go to the Room Type Mapping for the iCal in Wix Hotels / Channel Manager.

2. Select Don't send for the mapping.

3. Click Save.

4. In another window, go to the admin dashboard of the relevant channel.

5. Go to the iCal section.

6. Delete the import calendars you created for HotelRunner.

7. Click Save.

OTA vs iCal:

If you're not sure if a specific channel is considered an OTA or iCal channel, you can check with HotelRunner here. Scroll down to the bottom of this page, the channels with a single * are iCal channels.

Once you deactivate the channels, your connection at HotelRunner will end within in 24 hours. If you would like the connection to be deactivated immediately please email wix@hotelrunner.com after making sure your connection is deactivated on channel's end.

If you are disconnecting all channels, you can turn off your Wix Hotels Channel app subscription so that it does not renew at the end of the subscription period. To do so, click here, click the Show more icon next to Wix Hotel Channels and click Cancel App.
