- Wix Automations: Creating and Managing an Action with the AI Custom Agent | Wix Expert
< Back Managing your business Managing your customers Wix Automations: Creating and Managing an Action with the AI Custom Agent Use the Delegate to AI Custom Agent action to hand off parts of your automations to your AI Custom Agent. When an automation is triggered, the agent follows your instructions and uses connected tools and integrations to handle the work. The agent initiates important actions, for example sending emails or making changes to your site, and asks for your approval before carrying them out. Automations that have this action appear in your AI Custom Agent dashboard, so you can track what the agent is doing, review pending approvals, and refine your workflows over time. Learn more about the AI custom agent and its capabilities. Creating a delegate to AI custom agent action Add the Delegate to AI Custom Agent action to your automation to let the agent react to triggers such as orders, form submissions, or scheduled times. You define the instructions, and optionally select additional integrations and output data if you want to reuse the agent’s output in later steps. To create a delegate to custom agent action: Go to Automations in your site's dashboard. Click + Create Automation at the top right Click + Start from Scratch . Select a trigger for your automation. Click the Add Step icon and add an Action . Select Delegate to AI Custom Agent on the left. Click the Instructions text box to start writing instructions about the tasks you want the agent to handle. (Optional) Click Manage in the Integrations and tools section to manage your integrations for this action. Tip: Learn more about connecting and managing Integrations . (Optional) Click Manage in the Output data section to structure the data provided by AI Custom Agent to use it in later automation steps like conditions or actions. Note: While this feature is in beta, the Require approvals toggle will always be enabled. This means the agent will ask you to approve or reject a task's action, rather than carrying it out without your approval. Since each task runs in real time, results may differ slightly on each run to reach the goal you described in the task instructions. Managing your action's tasks Use the AI Custom Agent dashboard to keep track of automations that include the Delegate to AI Custom Agent action and see which ones require your attention. You can review and approve the agent's proposed actions, open a task to edit its setup in the Automations Builder, or deactivate and delete tasks you no longer need. On the dashboard, you can view the following information for each task: Status: Shows whether the task is active, inactive, or a draft. Active: The task is running as expected. Inactive: The task deactivates if you do not approve or reject agent actions within 3 days, or if the task runs 5 times in a row without your response. Draft: The task appears as a draft when you create it and save without activating it. Runs to approve: The number of task runs waiting for your review and approval. For example, you may have several runs pending, each for a separate email the agent wants to send to a customer. Trigger: What makes the agent run the task. You can change the trigger from the task's settings . Last run: The last time the agent ran the task. Tip: Tasks that were created by an automation show a "Created in automations" badge so you can spot them quickly. To manage your tasks: Go to the AI Custom Agent in your site's dashboard. Go to the Tasks section. Manage your tasks using the available options. FAQs Click below to learn more about using the Delegate to AI Custom Agent action. Why don't I see the option to Approve Runs for my task? These options only appear for task runs that are pending approval. If there are no pending approvals for that task, you see the task's history and status, but you do not see buttons to approve, reject, or edit a specific action. What is the difference between built-in tools and external integrations? Built-in tools are always available to the agent and do not require you to connect an external account. For example, the agent can use tools such as Wix MCP, Search web, Research topic, Send email, and Scrape web without any extra setup. External integrations connect your agent to third-party services, such as Google Calendar or Gmail, so it can read or manage data there. These integrations need to be connected and authenticated before the agent can use them. Can I add more than one Delegate to AI Custom Agent action in the same automation? Yes. You can add multiple Delegate to AI Custom Agent actions in a single automation. This can be helpful if you want the agent to handle different tasks at different points in your workflow. For example, one step to analyze a form submission and another to follow up with an email after a condition is met. Why can't I turn off the Require approvals toggle for this action? While this feature is in beta, approvals are always required for the Delegate to AI Custom Agent action. This means the agent proposes actions, but you decide whether to approve, edit, or reject them before anything is sent to customers or applied to your site. What happens if I ignore a pending approval? If you do not respond to a pending approval, the agent cannot complete that task run. After a period of time, the run can move to a failed or expired state, and the action is not carried out. To keep your automations flowing, review and approve or reject pending actions regularly from the AI Custom Agent dashboard. - Wix Payments: About Chargeback Fees | Wix Expert
< Back Managing your business Accepting payments on your site Wix Payments: About Chargeback Fees From July 5, 2023, a chargeback fee will be applied to your Wix Payments account if you get a chargeback. Wix incurs fees from payment service providers in the event of a chargeback. Therefore, we are making this change to reflect these fees and to match current industry standards. There is no change in the experience for your customers. When a payment is labeled as a Chargeback in your Wix Payments account, it means the funds were returned to your customer. A customer generally requests a chargeback when they don't recognize the payment, or when the goods/services were defective, not as described, or not delivered at all. Any chargeback requires an investment of time and resources from the parties involved (Wix, banks, card schemes, etc.) and, as such, if you receive a chargeback, you incur a chargeback fee. If you receive a chargeback that you believe to be unfair, you can file a dispute or, if you believe the chargeback to be justified, you can accept the claim. If you win the chargeback dispute, the chargeback fee will be returned to you along with the funds in dispute. Chargebacks are a part of doing business. In many cases, however, chargebacks can be prevented before they happen. In this article, learn about: Chargeback fees by region Filing a chargeback dispute Preventing chargebacks Chargeback fee amounts by region Depending on where your business is located, chargeback fees can vary. Regional chargeback fees are broken down by the appropriate currency as follows: Canada : 15.00 CAD European Union :15.00 EUR Switzerland : 15.00 CHF United Kingdom : 15.00 GBP United States : 15.00 USD Chargebacks fees do not currently apply for Wix Payments Brazil. Disputing a chargeback If you believe a chargeback to be unjustified, we recommend you dispute it. A win will improve your chargeback ratio and you can recover the value of the payment, as well the chargeback fee. To file a chargeback dispute: Go to Payments in your site's dashboard. Click the relevant payment to see its details. Click Dispute Chargeback under the chargeback's details. Select the product or service type of this transaction: Physical product: Physical products delivered, as described, to your customer. Digital Product: Digital files sent to your customer. Service: Any service provided to a customer, either online (e.g. website design) or offline (e.g. yoga classes). Event ticket : Tickets for events such as performances or conferences. Other : A product or service that doesn't fall within any of the other categories. Begin building your case by submitting: A cover letter explaining your case. Relevant evidence to verify your case. When ready, click Preview & Submit Dispute at the bottom. Tip : You can click Save Draft if you’d prefer to complete the form later. Preventing chargebacks It’s best to try and prevent a chargeback rather than deal with it once it happens. There are best practices you can follow to help lower your risk of receiving chargebacks, as well as to handle any chargebacks you receive more effectively. Among the most effective measures, you can: Make sure your product info is accurate: Your customers are less likely to dispute a purchase if they receive exactly what they order. Write product descriptions that are correct and add images that realistically depict what you’re selling. Add clear policies to your eCommerce website: Make it easier on customers to find your shipping, refund and cancellation policies , so they know, in advance, how you handle these issues. Respond to refund requests swiftly: Offering refunds to customers is a best practice and lessens the chance of chargebacks. Let your customers easily get in touch: Chargebacks can sometimes be a result of poor communication, so make it easy to find your contact details by displaying them clearly across your site. Try to respond to customer concerns quickly, and keep your customers updated about shipping, delivery, or any changes to your store policies. Learn more about preventing chargebacks . - Using Black Hat SEO Techniques | Wix Expert
< Back Promoting your site SEO (get found on Google) Using Black Hat SEO Techniques Black hat SEO is a type of SEO optimization that uses unethical techniques to manipulate search ranking results for the site. These techniques don't comply with search engine guidelines for quality , and there are risks involved with using them. In general, these techniques don't improve the user experience of your site, and can even negatively impact the experience. For this reason, search engines reduce the ranking of sites that use these techniques so that more useful or higher-quality sites appear above them. Risks of using Black Hat SEO Using black hat SEO techniques can cause search engines like Google to rank your site lower or completely remove your site from search engine results. Learn more about Google Search Essentials. Search engines may not discover these techniques on your site immediately. However, they constantly improve their detection of black hat SEO techniques, and it's likely that your site will get penalized eventually. In the long run, it's a better idea to work on optimizing your site's content for SEO if you want to improve your search engine ranking. Black Hat SEO examples Some common examples of black hat SEO techniques are: hidden text or links, automatically generated content, keyword stuffing, buying or selling backlinks, and using redirects to manipulate ranking. Hidden texts and links Text that is visible only to search engines goes against search engine guidelines. Some examples of this type of text are: Any text that is written in the same color (or close to) as the web page background. For example, white text on a white background. Any text situated in an area of the page that has been defined as hidden or invisible using CSS. Extremely small fonts that are too small for site visitors to see. Any text that is hidden behind another element (e.g., an image). Note: Alt text for images is not considered hidden text because it helps search engines and screen readers understand the content of an image. Automatically generated content This is low-value text that is automatically generated by a program using specific topics or keywords. It is usually not useful to site visitors because it doesn't make sense. Some types of automatically generated text include: Automatic translations that are not verified before publishing Text created using automatically generated synonyms of words Text created from collating search results Text create by combining content from different web pages without adding any value Keyword stuffing This is where a site contains a large number of irrelevant keywords, search phrases, or numbers to manipulate a site's ranking. The keywords or numbers often appear out of context and do not make sense to readers. Some examples of keyword stuffing include: Listing the same keyword or search phrase over and over. Adding keywords or search phrases to places where they do not logically or organically fit. Mentioning keywords or search phrases solely to inflate the number of times they appear in your content. To improve your site's ranking, it's better to focus on creating high-quality content that's useful to your visitors instead of forcing keywords into your content. Hidden AI-bait text and prompt stuffing As AI-powered search features and assistants (like AI Overviews and chatbots) become part of how people discover websites, some black hat tactics have adapted to target these systems directly: Hidden AI-bait text: Content hidden from visitors (using the same methods described above, like matching background colors or CSS-hidden elements) but written specifically to influence how AI models summarize or describe your brand. Prompt stuffing: Embedding instructions or manipulative phrases into a page's content in an attempt to influence AI crawlers or assistants into producing a favorable summary, ranking, or recommendation. These techniques don't just risk your search engine ranking, they can also damage your visibility in AI-generated results and how your brand is represented in them. Buying or selling backlinks Backlinks (also known as incoming links, inbound links, or inward links) are links that direct users to your site from other relevant sites. Sites that have backlinks from reputable sites rank higher in search results. Websites that buy or sell links to other websites to artificially improve a site's ranking are penalized by search engines. Using automated programs to create links to your site can also affect your site's ranking. Using URL redirects to manipulate page rank There are many legitimate reasons to use a URL redirect. For example, you can use a URL redirect to maintain your previous site's search ranking when moving your site to Wix. However, some types of redirects go against search engine quality guidelines. Redirecting a user to a page with different content than what was made available to the search engine crawler is penalized by search engines. For example, if a user searches for recipes, they expect the URLs in the search results to take them to pages about food. If a URL redirect takes them to a page completely unrelated to food, this would be considered a manipulative redirect. Yes, these reports are available for both the old and new versions of Wix Forms . Why is there a mismatch between the number of submissions in my report and the number of submissions in my submission table? Your submission table updates live, whereas the data presented in the reports updates every few hours. I named my form, but the form name is shown as 'Unknown' in my reports, is this normal? Yes. After renaming a form, the new name gets updated in the reports the following day. Why do I still see the old names of my Wix Forms in Wix Analytics reports? The 'Submissions by Form' and 'Form Submissions over Time' reports reflect the form names at the time each submission was made. If you rename a Wix form, only new submissions will use the new form name. Past submissions keep the old form name and are not updated retroactively. If you want to see data for the new form name only, filter the report to a date range starting from when you changed the name. Otherwise, you will need to cross-reference the old and new form names when reviewing a report. I'm seeing an inaccurate number of form submissions in Wix Analytics reports, why is that? If you have both new and old Wix Forms on your site, Wix Analytics reports data from both of them. This means the total number of form submissions in Wix Analytics reports can be higher than what you expect or what you see in other tools, such as Google Analytics.
