  • Increasing Email Deliverability of Emails Sent from Your Business Email

Business Email BasicsIncreasing Email Deliverability of Emails Sent from Your Business Email < Back Business Email Basics Increasing Email Deliverability of Emails Sent from Your Business Email Important: From February 2024, to comply with Google and Yahoo's new spam regulations, if you are a business email user you must set up SPF email authentication. In addition, if you send more than 5000 messages per day to Google or Yahoo personal email accounts, you must also set up DKIM and DMARC authentication. For high-volume senders, email delivery may be affected if all 3 records are not added. Email deliverability is a way to measure the success at which emails from your business email arrive into your customers' inboxes. You can track the number of people who come to your site after clicking a link in an email they received from you (also known as email traffic). If the emails you send don't get a good deliverability rate, there are a few considerations and updates you can make to ensure that you reach more people. Factors that affect your email deliverability There are many factors that affect your email deliverability, such as your message's design, content and relevance, your IP address reputation, and how often you send emails. There are a number of reasons why an email might not reach the intended inbox: Hard bounce: The email address is invalid or does not exist Soft bounce: There was a technical issue when sending to the address Spam folder: Email filtered as spam Blocked: Blocked by an ISP or internet protocol A low deliverability rate likely means that your emails are not delivered, or arrive to your users' spam folders. To ensure your emails don't get blocked or marked as spam, try adding SPF and DKIM records to your account. If you send a lot of emails per day (over 5000), you should also add DMARC records. Adding SPF or DKIM records to your account SPF and DKIM records are used to authenticate your email account. From February 2024, to comply with Google and Yahoo’s new spam regulations, senders who send emails to personal Gmail and Yahoo email accounts must set up either SPF or DKIM . Google, Yahoo, and other providers perform random checks on new sender messages to personal email accounts to verify they’re authenticated. Messages without at least one of these authentication methods will be rejected or marked as spam. SPF / DKIM record values can be sourced from your email provider. Whether your email provider is Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or other, you'll need to add at least one of these records to be sure of authentication when sending mail to a Google or Yahoo mailbox. Adding an SPF record An SPF (Sender Policy Framework) record permits your mail server to send emails on behalf of your domain. This helps to prevent spammers from sending messages with a forged email address whilst claiming to be from your domain. Using an SPF record demonstrates that you're conscientious about protecting against online threats, which is good for your sender reputation. For business emails purchased from Wix, learn how to add an SPF record to your Google Workspace account . For mailboxes purchased elsewhere, contact your provider for instructions on how to add an SPF record. Adding a DKIM record A DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail) record is an email authentication method. It verifies that your email was sent from a reliable, trustworthy source, and was not modified in transit. Learn more about DKIM records and how to add a DKIM record to your Google Workspace account . For mailboxes purchased elsewhere, contact your provider for instructions on how to add a DKIM record. FAQs Click a question below to learn more about email deliverability. Can I use DMARC for email authentication? In most cases we recommend a combination of SPF and DKIM records for email authentication. This should prove more effective for email authentication at Wix than only using DMARC (another email authentication method). If your organization sends more than 5000 emails per day, however, you must use DMARC in addition to SPF and DKIM. Learn more about adding DMARC records with Google . I have a Google account. Can I track data on the emails I send? Postmaster Tools by Google is a helpful way to track the data on the emails you send and understand metrics like your spam reports, feedback loop, and deliverability. I'm using Wix Email Marketing. How can I improve the deliverability of my campaigns? Wix Email Marketing deliverability can be improved by following our best practices for creating email campaigns . Are there other factors that can affect my emails? Yes. Your domain must be active and properly connected to avoid further email issues. Previous Next Need A Professional Website? Contact Us Today! Setting up your storeWix Stores: Tracking Sales with a Meta Conversion Pixel < Back Setting up your store Wix Stores: Tracking Sales with a Meta Conversion Pixel Meta Pixel allows you to track events on your site. Use them to help optimize the effectiveness of your advertising in relation to your sales. For example, you can use the information to promote products that visitors have previously viewed, searched for, or added to their cart. Learn More Setting up Meta Pixel in Wix Stores Before you can start tracking ads, you must first create a Facebook advertiser account and then add the Meta pixel to your Wix account. To set up a Meta Pixel: Sign in to your Facebook account. Add the Meta pixel to your Wix account. Learn more Follow the instructions in the Custom Conversions section of this article to paste your thank you page URL into your Facebook Ads Manager. Tip: Your thank you page URL is your domain name followed by /thank-you-page . For example, if your site URL is www.mystunningwebsite.com , your thank you page URL is www.mystunningwebsite.com/thank-you-page . Custom conversions When an action occurs on your website, your Meta pixel logs it as an "event." Once the pixel is linked to Wix Stores, the following Standard Events will be automatically sent to your Facebook account: When a site visitor has viewed a product page. When a site visitor has added a product to their cart. When a site visitor has entered the checkout flow. When a site visitor has completed a purchase on your site. The total amount a site visitor has spent on a purchase from your site. Custom conversions are events on your site that you define on your own, based on your ad tracking needs. Custom audiences Defining Custom Audiences allows you to show your Facebook ads to specific audiences, in order to increase your ads marketing effectiveness. Using custom audiences, you can display different ads to different types of audiences. For example, sporadic visitors who have never been to your site as opposed to visitors who have already expressed interest in your products and visit your site frequently. • Wix Events: About Wix Ticket Service Fees

Selling event ticketsWix Events: About Wix Ticket Service Fees < Back Selling event tickets Wix Events: About Wix Ticket Service Fees Wix charges a 2.5% ticket service fee for using the ticketing platform. This fee is separate from the payment processing fees set by your payment provider. Each fee serves a different purpose and is not charged twice. When creating a new ticket , you can choose whether the buyer or your business covers the 2.5% ticket service fee. Notes: Additional fees may apply for refunds and chargebacks. Free tickets, manual guest entries , and manual payments have no ticket service fee. Pass the ticket service fee on to the buyer When choosing to pass the service fee on to your buyer, it means they pay an additional 2.5% fee on top of their ticket price. At checkout, they see the service fee and the ticket price separately, making the cost extra clear. For example, if you set the ticket price to $100, buyers will see a total charge of $102.50 at checkout. The $100 ticket price goes to you, while the additional $2.50 covers the ticket service fee. Absorb the ticket service fee By absorbing the ticket service fee, you keep the total price lower for buyers. The 2.5% fee is subtracted from your earnings, not from your buyer's total. For example, if you set the ticket price at $100, buyers will only pay $100 at checkout. However, after the 2.5% ticket service fee is deducted, you will receive $97.50. Track your ticket sales From the Orders tab in your site's dashboard, you can see how many tickets you’ve sold and the total revenue for the event . Total sales: The revenue you’ve earned from ticket sales before the ticket service fee is deducted. Net sales: The revenue you’ve earned from ticket sales after the ticket service fee is deducted. The difference between a processing fee and a ticket service fee Processing fees collected by payment providers are separate from the Wix ticket service fee. For payment providers who charge a processing fee: Wix Payments: You’ll receive a monthly email with the details. Third-Party Providers: You can request the invoice directly from your chosen provider. Refunding event tickets with the service fee When you refund a ticket that includes a Wix ticket service fee, the payment processor will refund the fee in full. If you refund part of the ticket, the Wix ticket service fee is reduced by that same amount. For example, a 50% refund also reduces the ticket service fee by 50%. Note: Check with your payment provider about their refund policies for processing fees. Previous Next Need A Professional Website? Contact Us Today!
