- Wix Pro Gallery: About Responsive Layouts in the Wix Editor | Wix Expert
< Back Managing your media Using the Pro Gallery Wix Pro Gallery: About Responsive Layouts in the Wix Editor Your Wix Pro Gallery behaves responsively in the Wix Editor when you choose certain layouts and set it to Full Width . This means that the position of your gallery items and their size may change when the browser window is resized across all devices. Note: While the Pro Gallery attempts to adapt and respond to all screen sizes, it is not yet fully responsive across all screen sizes / resolutions. If you are looking for complete responsiveness, we recommend trying the Studio Editor . Responsiveness in custom layouts The Wix Pro Gallery offers a variety of customizable layouts . Each layout behaves differently when set to Full Width and viewed on different screen / browser / frame sizes. Click a layout below to learn how it behaves across varying screen sizes: Collage You can display your Pro Gallery with a Collage layout and choose a horizontal or vertical scroll direction. Learn what happens to your gallery per scroll direction: Horizontal: The position of gallery items in a gallery with a horizontal scroll direction and a horizontal orientation won’t change. However, gallery item size may change depending on the settings applied to your gallery and the size of the screen / browser / frame. Vertical: The size of gallery items and their position relative to other items in a row change in galleries with a vertical scroll direction with either a horizontal or vertical orientation. How much gallery items change, relative to each row, varies depending on the original dimensions of the gallery item and the settings you apply. In some cases, gallery items move to another row, due to a lack of space within the gallery itself. Masonry You can display your gallery with a Masonry layout and choose a horizontal or vertical orientation. Learn what happens to your gallery per gallery orientation: Horizontal: Both the image size and the row the image is on change depending on the size of the screen / frame / gallery items. This is further affected by the thumbnail size and spacing you have previously set (meaning the staggered layout between gallery items may be reduced and items may be lined up similarly to the grid gallery layout). Vertical: The position of gallery items within the rows doesn't change, but the size of the item does. As there is a fixed number of items per row, the gallery items will stop being responsive if the window is smaller than the space needed to display all items, and a scrollbar appears. If you place gallery text above or below the item, this will further impact item sizes (meaning the staggered layout between gallery items may be reduced and items may be lined up similarly to the grid gallery layout). Grid You can display your Pro Gallery with a Grid layout in a horizontal or vertical scroll direction. Learn what happens to your gallery per scroll direction: Vertical: Gallery items keep their position within their row, but change size depending on the screen / browser / frame size. After a certain point, the images will not reduce in size to fit the frame, and a horizontal scrollbar will appear. This is further affected by any text you add above / below the gallery item, and the size of the text box. Horizontal: Single row gallery items don't change size or position, but if the frame is too small, a scrollbar appears. Thumbnails Thumbnails always keep their size and positioning. Learn what happens to the main gallery item when it is set to: Crop: The main gallery item resizes depending on the screen / window / browser dimensions. Fit: It doesn't resize regardless of the screen /window / browser size. Slider The image ratio you choose in the Slider layout determines how the gallery resizes on different screens. Learn what happens when the image ratio is set to: Responsive: Gallery items resize depending on the space available to display in the browser / screen / frame. Fixed: Gallery items don't resize, regardless of the screen / window / browser size, or the settings applied to the layout. Slideshow The Thumbnail resize setting you choose in the Slideshow layout determines how the gallery resizes on different screens. Learn what happens when the Thumbnail resize is set to: Crop: The size and ratio of the gallery item can change significantly depending on the available frame to display the gallery. Fit: The gallery item's ratio stays the same, but resizes in different screen / browser / frame sizes. This change is not always obvious as the resizing is subtle, however, it may be more noticeable if the screen size is drastically different. Strip Gallery items resize automatically to fit the screen / browser / frame. Column The size and position of gallery items never change. Bricks / Alternate / Mix The position of gallery items within each row and their placement relative to the other items in your gallery doesn’t change. The gallery items, however, resize significantly in different browser / screen / frame sizes. Magic This gallery layout is randomized. In most cases, gallery items resize to varying degrees, but largely stay in the same position. In some cases, a gallery item may move to another row if there is not enough space. Responsiveness in preset layouts Since Preset layouts are non-customizable, the size and / or position of gallery items may change in different screen / browser / frame sizes. The number of gallery items in the gallery, and an item's original dimensions, may further affect their size and position. Tip: Learn more about choosing Preset layouts . FAQs Click a question below to learn more about responsiveness in Pro Gallery layouts: How can I make sure my gallery items don't change the order I set in the Organize Your Gallery window? You have two options: Choose the Masonry or Grid layout with vertical orientation. Then select the number of gallery items to display per row. Disable Full Width for your gallery. I have chosen the Masonry layout and the order of my gallery items has changed. Why? The Masonry layout may automatically change the order of your gallery items. This is to best fit the items within the gallery space available on a device (tablet, phone, desktop etc.). If you find your gallery has some blank spaces, you can fix this by increasing the gallery height, thumbnail size, or by adding more gallery items. - Wix Analytics: Financial Glossary | Wix Expert
< Back Managing your business Analytics for your site and business Wix Analytics: Financial Glossary Understanding your sales and payments is essential for running your business. This glossary explains the key financial terms you may find in Wix Analytics. Use this glossary as a reference whenever you want to better interpret your business performance. Financial glossary The table below lists each financial measure you may see in Wix Analytics, showing what it is and where it applies in your reports. Measure: The financial stat being tracked. Level: Shows where the measure applies in your reports. Item level: Applies to a single product or item in an order. Order level: Applies to the full order, including all items and charges. Payments level: Applies to the specific payment in the order. Note: Not all order-level information is also available at the item level. This is because certain stats (e.g. shipping fees or tips) apply to the full order and cannot be split across individual items. Measure Level Description Additional fees Order level All extra charges that aren't tips, like service, cancellation or custom fees. Amount paid Payments The total amount paid by customers. Avg. order value Order level The average value per order, excluding orders paid with a pricing plan. How is it calculated? Total sales ÷ total orders Discount Order level and item level The total discount given on an item. It can be applied to a specific item, or to several items in an order. Note: When a discount is applied at the order level, merchant discounts and coupons (i.e. order-level discounts) are distributed proportionally across all items in the order, based on each item's share of the total order price. Gift card Order level The value of gift cards purchased in an order. Redeemed gift cards count as part of total sales (see definition for Gift card used ). Gift card used Payments level The amount paid with a gift card. Gross sales Order level and item level The price of each item multiplied by the quantity sold, before taxes and discounts. How is it calculated? Item price × quantity Item price Item level The price of an item set by you, the site owner. Note: Taxes and discounts are not reflected in the price, even if you included tax in the price when setting up the product. Item total Item level The total price expected to be paid for the item after discounts and including tax. How is it calculated? Gross sales – discounts + tax Net revenue Order level The amount paid for an order after deducting refunds, gift cards used, chargebacks, shipping and tax. How is it calculated? Amount paid – gift cards used – refunds – chargebacks – shipping – tax Quantity Order level and item level The number of items sold. Refunds Order level and item level The amount returned to a customer for an item or order. Note: Refunds show at the item level only if you selected a specific item during the refund process. Otherwise, refunds appear only at the order level. Shipping Order level The shipping costs of an order. Successful payments Payments level The number of payments received that were not pending, disputed or declined. Tax Order level and item level The amount of tax expected to pay per item or order. Note: The sum of tax for all items in an order may not match the total order tax. This is because other charges, such as shipping, are not considered items but can also have tax applied. Tips Order level Tips added to the order at checkout. Tips can be added through a POS or the Wix Tips app . Total orders Order level and item level The total number of orders received, including orders that weren’t paid yet and orders with recurring payments. Total revenue Order level and payments level The amount paid for an order after deducting refunds, gift cards used, and chargebacks. How is it calculated? Amount paid – gift cards used – refunds – chargebacks Total sales Order level The total amount expected from sales and redeemed gift cards, including taxes, shipping, tips and fees, after discounts. Refunds aren't deducted. How is it calculated? Gross sales + taxes + shipping + tips + fees – discounts Curious to learn more about Wix Analytics terms? Check out the Wix Analytics reports glossary. FAQs Click a question below to learn more about financial reports. Why are the totals in the Payment Summary report different from Sales reports? The Payment Summary report is based on individual payment transactions. A single order can include multiple transactions, such as partial payments or different payment methods. Sales reports reflect the full value of the order, including amounts that haven't been paid yet. As a result, the sum of the amounts in the Payment Summary report may not match the total sales in Sales reports . Why don't the totals in order-level and item-level Sales reports match? Wix Analytics offers both order-level (e.g. Sales over time) and item-level sales reports (e.g. Sales by item, Item sales over time). Some values, like tips, shipping and order-level tax, can't be split across items, so they only appear in order level calculations. This means that the sum of item-level sales may not equal the sum of order-level sales, for reasons that include: Item-level sales reflect only the price after item-level discounts and taxes. Order-level sales may also include additional fees like tips and shipping. Why is there a difference between Total Tax in the Tax Summary report and Total Tax in order-level Sales reports? The Tax Summary report only includes e-Com-based orders , meaning orders placed through Wix Bookings, Wix Restaurants (New), Wix Stores, and Subscriptions, while order-level Sales reports include all orders . View an example from an eco-friendly business Let's say you run an eco-friendly business and want the AI to mention this every time a customer asks a product-related question. Knowledge rule: Our business is eco-friendly, we sell products that do not harm the environment, this is an essential and important part of our store. Mention this when a customer asks a question about a product we sell. To create a knowledge rule: Go to Smart Chat in your site's dashboard. Click the Actions drop-down and select Add knowledge . Give the knowledge rule a clear title that you'll recognize later. Choose how to provide AI with the information: Write all the info the AI should know about this topic: Enter all of the information in the text field. Upload PDF/DOCX file with extra info about this topic: Upload a file from your computer containing the information. Click Add File to attach the document. (Optional) Link the rule to a specific page or product (e.g. link a rule about your return policy to the dedicated policy page): Click Select Page on the right. Select a page from your site. Click Create Rule . Tip: If you add knowledge rules with information for time-sensitive events, such as business hours during holidays, remember to delete those rules afterwards. Creating restriction rules Restricting the AI from providing visitors with information on topics gives you more control over the way it communicates. By adding topics that it shouldn't answer questions about, such as income or your days off, you can define the boundaries of your business. View an example from a personal training business Let's say you run a personal training business and want to avoid answering specific questions about medical concerns or injuries to ensure safety. Restriction rule: Do not provide advice on treating medical conditions or injuries. Giving medical advice could be dangerous because we don’t have the relevant information to assess someone’s health. It’s best to avoid answering these types of questions so clients can get the right help from a healthcare professional instead. View an example from a financial services site Let's say you run a financial services website and want to avoid answering specific questions about investment advice to stay compliant with regulations. Restriction rule: Do not provide personal investment advice or recommendations. Personal investment advice could break financial regulations and cause legal issues for the business. You don’t have the full financial picture of each site visitor, so it’s better not to answer these questions to avoid giving advice that might not be suitable for them. To create a restriction rule: Go to Smart Chat in your site's dashboard. Click the Actions drop-down and select Add restriction . Give the restriction rule a clear title that you'll recognize later. Enter your description in the text field. Choose an option: Tell visitors you will get in touch or show a contact form: The visitor's message about this topic will be forwarded to your Inbox. Tip: Set up a contact form so you can respond later. Say you can't answer questions about this topic: The AI will send an automatic message saying it can't answer the visitor's question on that topic. (Optional) Add a related site page: Link the rule to a specific page or product on your site. For example, link a restriction rule about avoiding legal topics to your site's Terms & Conditions page. Click Select Page on the right. Select a page from your site. Click Create Rule . Editing or deleting training rules You can edit or delete any information you enter in a knowledge or restriction rule. To edit/delete a training rule: Go to Smart Chat in your site's dashboard. Click the relevant training rule tile under the AI tools section. Hover over the rule you want to edit or remove. Choose an option: Edit Click Edit . Edit the rule as needed. Click Update rule . Remove Click the More Actions icon and select Delete . Click Delete again in the pop-up. Note: It is not possible to edit knowledge rules that you added by uploading a PDF/DOCX file. However, you can remove the original knowledge rule and add a new one with the updated file. FAQs Click a question below to learn more about training the AI. Will the AI still work if I didn't add any knowledge rules or restriction rules? Yes, the AI will still read the information publicly available on your site to provide responses to your customers. However, we recommend adding knowledge and restriction rules to increase the AI's accuracy and reliability, allowing it to give an even better level of service. This also lessens the need for you to intervene in chats with customers or answer follow-up questions the AI is unable to answer. Why are there training rules I have to review? When you add feedback while testing the AI or from your Inbox , training rules will appear in the 'To review' tab first. Once you review them, then they'll get added to your list of training rules. Can I add rules while testing the AI chat? Yes, while testing the AI chat you can provide feedback and create training rules on the go. That way you don't have to remember what rules you need to create after finishing to test the responses. Why should I add a related site page? Linking related site pages to rules helps the AI provide even more accurate and context-aware responses when a visitor asks about that topic. By linking a training rule to the relevant page (e.g. a product page, event, or FAQ), the AI understands the context better and can: Pull information from both the training rule and the linked page. Offer smarter answers based on the context. Include a link to the page when relevant. Can I include images in the file I upload when adding a knowledge rule? No, the AI will only refer to text in your uploaded file. Is there a limit to the number of knowledge rules or restriction rules I can add? In the trial version of the Wix Smart Chat, you get a free quota of 10 training rules. If you feel you need more than this, consider upgrading your plan . Can I keep track of how many times a knowledge rule or restriction rule has been used in a chat with a customer? Yes, you can keep track of how many times a knowledge rule or restriction rule was used by the AI in the Times used column located in the Training rules tab. Tap the More Actions icon and tap Delete . FAQs Click a question below to learn more about managing your Legend's knowledge. Does my Legend exclusively use the content I add to the Knowledge tab? It depends. When your Legend answers questions, they rely first and foremost on the information you add to the Knowledge tab. Any fact that exists in your Legend's knowledge will be used when it’s asked about directly. If a question relates to a personal detail that does not appear in your Legend's knowledge, the Legend will not invent, assume, or guess. Instead, they will clearly say that they don't know. For non-personal questions (e.g. publicly available information), your Legend may still provide answers based on widely known information from the web. If you prefer to restrict this behavior, you can customize it by creating custom instructions in the Behavior tab or by telling Atlas directly. If I update or delete content, how long does it take for my Legend to reflect those changes? Updates are usually processed quickly. Your Legend will use the latest knowledge you have saved, so edits or deletions should be reflected in its answers right away. Are there limits to the types of links I can add? Your Legend can use content from most public webpages. However, it may not be able to access pages that require logins, are paywalled, or have unusual formats. For best results, use links to publicly accessible and reputable sites. What if I don't have a lot of information to upload? That's not a problem, you can just speak with Atlas. As you speak, Atlas will automatically generate snippets and get ideas flowing. You can also add links to your personal site, blog posts, your CV - any sources that offer insight into who you are and what you do.
