Note: Collecting customer requests, and sending automated notifications to customers, are enabled separately. Collecting customer requests Enable customer requests so that your customers can let you know they're interested in an out-of-stock item. Once enabled, every time a customer requests to be notified, the following happens: The "Add to Cart" button changes to "Notify When Available" when an product is out of stock. You get an email notification. The request appears in the Back in Stock Requests tab in your site's dashboard. The customer gets notified when the item is back in stock (unless you deactivated this option). To start collecting customer requests: Go to the Back in Stock Requests tab in your site's dashboard. Click Start Collecting Requests . Activating customer notifications After you start collecting requests, you can activate automated notifications so that customers get an email when the product they like is back in stock. To activate automated notifications: Go to the Back in Stock Requests tab in your site's dashboard. Click Activate Automation . Customizing the notification email Your customers receive an email when the product they're interested is back in stock. The email has a "Buy Now" button to make it easy for customers to purchase it. Make sure you customize the design of the notification email so it matches your store's branding. To customize the design of the notification: Go to the Back in Stock Requests tab in your site's dashboard. Click the Automations tab. Click Preview & Edit . Edit the Sender Details:Click Edit . Edit the "from" name. Note: Enter a name customers recognize like your business name. (Optional) Edit the reply-to email. Tip: This is where emails are directed if customers reply. Click Save . Customize the notification:Click Edit Template to customize the text and design of the notification . Tip: Click Add and then Logo to display your logo at the top of the notification. Click Save & Publish . Tip: To see what the email looks like when sent to customers, go back to the Automations tab, click Preview & Edit again and select Preview & Test . From there you can click Send Test Email and enter your details to get the notification sent to your inbox. Pausing the back-in-stock feature You can pause the collecting requests feature so customers can no longer sign up to get notified. You can also pause the sending of back-in-stock notifications to customers - or stop both. Note: If you stop collecting new requests, customers who requested notifications still receive them, as long as automated notifications is still enabled. To pause the back-in-stock feature: Go to the Back in Stock Requests tab in your site's dashboard. Stop collecting requests: Note: When an item is out of stock, the "Add to Cart" button text changes to "Out of Stock".Click the More Actions icon at the top right. Click Pause requests . Click Pause requests to confirm. Stop sending automated back-in-stock notifications (available if you haven't stopped collecting requests): Note: Customers will not be not notified when you restock an item.Click the Automations tab. Creating your plansPricing Plans: Creating a Recurring Payment Plan < Back Creating your plans Pricing Plans: Creating a Recurring Payment Plan The Pricing Plans app offers several different types of plan and package. These include recurring payment plans, free plans , and one-time payment plans . Recurring payment plans are a useful way to encourage new clients to explore more of your services. They also secure stable revenue for your business. Before you begin: Make sure to add the Pricing Plans app and connect a payment provider . Once you create a Pricing Plan, it is currently not possible to delete it. You can vote for this feature here . You can, however, hide or archive your plans as necessary to create new plans. Step 1 | Create the pricing plan Recurring plans are a great way to generate regular revenue from committed clients. Connect premium services or content to your plans as a way to reward returning clients. To create a pricing plan: Go to Pricing Plans in your site's dashboard. Click + Create Plan . Enter the Plan info :Enter the plan name. (Optional) Enter a brief description of the plan. Add a Cover Image . (Optional) Fill in the relevant details under Tell customers what the main features are . Note: What you enter here displays the benefits. It does not connect Wix services or content to the plan. Tip: You can create as many pricing plans as you need in your site's dashboard. However, to show more than 75 plans on your site, add another Pricing Plans element in your editor (e.g. Plan List or Single Plan). Step 2 | Connect benefits to your plan Once you have created your plan and listed the benefits included, you can connect services and content to the plan . The benefits available to connect vary according to the content and services you have on your site. For example, if you have Wix Blog or Forum, you see the option to connect to them. If you have no relevant content or services, the Benefits section won't appear at all. To connect benefits to your plan: Select the checkbox(es) next the Benefits you want to include (e.g. services or content types) Add the relevant details (e.g. the specific services that are included). Note: You can connect site pages only after you finish creating your pricing plan. Step 3 | Set the price and duration of your plan Set how you want to charge for each period of your plan and how long it should last. Recurring payments offer more flexible terms to clients without a large, up-front commitment. You can also set custom recurring cycles to offer even more value to your customers. For example, you can create a plan with a payment period of 6 weeks or 3 months. Note: To accept recurring payments, you need to set up a payment provider that supports recurring payments . To set the price and duration of your plan: Select Recurring Payments in the Pricing options section. Click the Payment frequency drop-down and select how often payments are made. Enter the price for each recurring period. Click the Length of Plan drop-down and select the duration or enter a custom duration. (Optional) Charge a setup fee:Enable the Charge a setup fee toggle. Enter the amount under One-time setup fee . Enter the name for the fee under Setup fee name . (Optional) Click the Enable a free trial toggle to add a free trial to the plan and set its length. Step 4 | Adjust your plan's advanced settings After entering your plan's details, pricing and benefits, adjust its settings. Make your plan more flexible by letting clients choose their start date or cancel the plan if needed. Create a policy to explain how your plan works and how your clients can get the most value from it. You can also add custom form fields to collect more info during checkout, and a Thank You page to personalize the experience. To adjust your plan's advanced settings: Scroll down to Settings . Choose how you want to adjust your plan's settings: Limit to a single purchase Enable the Limit to 1 subscription per customer toggle so customers can only purchase this plan once. If they try to purchase it again, they receive a notification that they can only purchase the plan once . Note: Enabling this toggle affects only future purchases. Customers can still repurchase the plan before the restriction applies, or you can manually add them to their previous plan even with this option enabled. Allow customers to cancel their subscription Enable this toggle to allow clients to cancel their plan subscriptions by themselves in their personal My Subscriptions page. Note: Your site must have the Wix Members Area and the My Subscriptions pages . Let clients choose their start date Enable the Let customers set a start date toggle to let clients choose when their plan starts. Add a policy Create a policy for your pricing plan that appears on the checkout page. This could include any legal requirements, details about your renewal policy, and so on. Click Add next to Add a policy . Write your terms and conditions in the field provided. (Optional) Enable the Policy checkbox toggle so clients have to agree to your terms and conditions before completing checkout. (Optional) Enable the Checked by default toggle to automatically tick your policy checkbox for clients. Note: Make sure to check any legal requirements regarding policies, terms, and conditions in the country where you sell your plans. Click Save . Add custom form fields for clients to fill Add a custom form field to your checkout form to gather more information from your customers. It can include specific contact details you need, a checkbox, drop-down or multi-choice field. Click Add Form next to Collect additional info at checkout . Click + Create Form . Drag and drop the form field onto the page. Customize the Thank You message Add a message you display to customers after they purchase one of your plans. The message also includes a button, which can lead to your site's home page or any other page. Click Edit next to Customize a Thank You page . Enter a title for your Thank You page. Add the message you want this page to display. Tip: You can add links to direct customers to additional products, services or plans that may interest them. Enter your Button text . Choose where the button directs customers to:Home Page: When they click the button on the Thank You page, your customers return to your home page. Other page: Direct customers to a specific URL, such as your services or products page or a landing page.Enter the Page URL . 3. Click Save at the top to finish creating your plan. Step 5 | (Optional) Enable guest checkout The guest checkout option lets visitors buy a pricing plan without signing up or logging in. This is useful if your plans include offline benefits, or if clients don't want to register as site members. It's also a great way to attract new clients who aren't sure they want to commit right away. To enable guest checkout: Go to Settings in your site's dashboard. Click Pricing Plans settings . Click the Checkout tab at the top. Enable the Guest checkout toggle. Click Save . What's next? Why not create a coupon to promote your new plan? Step 1 | Add the 'Add to Cart' button Start by navigating to the relevant page and then dragging the Add the Cart button from the Add Panel to the ideal spot. Wix Editor Studio Editor Go to your editor . Click Add Elements on the left side of the editor. Click Stores . Drag the Add to Cart Button to the page. Step 2 | Connect the button to a product For the button to work properly, you need to select which product is added to the customer's cart when clicked. To connect the button to a product: Click the Add to Cart button in your editor. Click Settings . (Optional) Edit the button text. Connect the button to a product. Select the default product or select a different product. Step 3 | Design the button Now you can design the button to fit perfectly on the page. To customize the design of the button: Click the Add to Cart button in your editor. Click Settings . Click Design . Make any of the following customizations:Select a button style. Select a button color and drag the slider to adjust the opacity. Select a border color and drag the slider to adjust the border width. Drag the slider to make the corners rounder or more square.
