Setting up Retail POS sales

Wix Retail POS: About the Retail POS Plan

Important:

  • Merchants using Retail POS before October 25, 2023, can continue enjoying all the extra benefits without an additional upgrade.

  • Retail POS is available only in the US and Canada.

To start selling using your Retail POS, upgrade to a Retail POS plan. Upgrading lets you take advantage of the complete range of features and options.

Retail POS plan benefits

Upgrade to accept multiple types of payments and manage your business with advanced tools.

Accept all types of payments

To accept payment by credit/debit card, gift card, or manual card entry, you need to upgrade to Retail POS plan.

Tip: Before upgrading, you'll be able to accept cash payment.

Add staff members

Upgrade to add more staff members to your team. Each team member can set their own passcode to log in to the POS tablet.

Note: The maximum number of staff members is determined by your site upgrade (see the FAQ below for more details).

Allow customers to exchange items

Allow customers to bring a store product back and exchange it for a different one.

Track staff member hours

Stay on top of your business by tracking your staff members' hours. View the hours each staff member puts in during a time period or select a staff member to view additional tracking details.

Redeem loyalty points

If you created a loyalty program, customers could earn and redeem loyalty points in your online store. With the Retail POS plan, customers can also earn and redeem loyalty points at your brick-and-mortar business.
