FAQs Here are some common questions about pay links: What do my customers see when they go through checkout after opening a pay link? When your customer opens the pay link they are taken directly to the checkout, which displays all relevant information including their subtotal, delivery fees and sales tax (where applicable). Your customer enters their details, including any promo codes, and clicks Continue . Then, your customer chooses their preferred delivery method (if applicable) and clicks Continue . Your customer then enters their payment details and billing address, and clicks Pay Now to complete checkout. Note: Available payment options vary depending on your country and region , and which providers you connect to your site. Learn more about connecting a payment provider to your site . Why is my contact unable to make a payment? If your contact reports that they are unable to make a payment, it could be because: Your pay link is not accepting payments. Check its status - to accept payments, it needs to be Active rather than Inactive, Expired or reached its payment limit. If a pay link has a payment limit, it will not accept further payments if it has reached its limit or has pending transactions that will reach its limit (e.g. pay link with a limit of 3, with 2 payments received and 1 transaction in progress). Your pay link is temporarily offline. Refreshing the page should fix this. How do I change the currency of my pay links? You can change the currency of all invoices, price quotes and pay links. You do this from Settings in your site's dashboard . How do I embed a pay link on my site using an HTML code? See the steps above in this article to get the HTML embed code for the relevant pay link. Then, add it to the Embed HTML element in the Wix Editor , or to the Embed Code element in the Studio Editor . Can I customize the appearance of my pay links? You can upload an image when creating a custom amount pay link so your customers see a picture alongside the payment details. Other appearance settings, such as button color and text, can’t be changed. After you create a pay link, its image and details can’t be edited. If you want to make changes, simply create a new pay link that fits your needs. How do I track the payments received through my pay links? You can track payments received through your pay links by going to the Pay Links page in your site's dashboard. Click on a specific pay link to view detailed information about each payment, including the date, amount, and payer details. Can I limit the number of times a pay link can be used? Yes, you can limit the number of times the link can be used. This option is available under the Limit the number of payments section when you create or edit a pay link. What should I do if a payment through a pay link fails? If a payment fails, check the status of the pay link to ensure it is active and not expired or inactive. You may also want to verify that your payment method is correctly set up. If the issue persists, contact Wix Customer Care for further assistance. If you find that you or your staff are not receiving emails from Wix Bookings, follow the steps in this article to try and resolve the issue. Important: Email notifications are not sent for bookings made in preview mode. If you're using a merchant account (e.g. PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net), the email notification goes to the email address associated with that account. Notifications about bookings and cancellations also appear at the top of your site dashboard. Step 1 | Check your MX records if using your own domain If the email address you're using for your Wix account is your domain's email address (i.e. example@yourdomain.com), check that your MX records are set up correctly and your domain is properly connected. Step 2 | Confirm the relevant email addresses are correct Your notification emails go to the address you enter in the Business Info tab in your site's dashboard. Enter the staff member's correct email address in the Email field, if needed. Click Save . Repeat steps 2-4 as necessary for other staff members. Step 3 | Send a test email to confirm that you can receive emails Send yourself a test email to make sure that your email address is receiving emails. To send a test email: Go to Booking Settings in your site's dashboard. Click Notifications you get . Click Edit next to the automation that you want to test. Click Send an email under Action . Your business email is the address you entered under Business Info . If you find any emails there, make sure to whitelist your business email address. Step 5 | (Optional) Check if Wix emails are blocked by your email provider If you still don’t receive the test email after adding your business email address to your safe senders or contacts list, contact your email provider. • Improving Your Ranking in Bing Search Results | Wix Expert

< Back Promoting your site SEO (get found on Google) Improving Your Ranking in Bing Search Results Search engines like Bing crawl and index each page on your site individually. When someone enters a search term, Bing tries to understand their intent and gives them the most relevant results for their query. The rank of your page in those results can depend on factors like the age of your site, the quality of your content, how relevant the content is to certain keywords , and how accessible your site is. If you entered your business name, domain name, or keywords into a Bing search box but you can’t find your website, here are some things to consider: Make sure that your site is verified Verifying your ownership of your domain on Bing helps to improve your ranking in search results. You can verify your site with Bing Webmaster Tools by adding a meta tag to your Wix site . After you verify your site, Bing will regularly crawl it for changes. However, it's a good idea to resubmit your sitemap to Bing when you publish changes to your site. Check that your site is visible in search results After you've published your site, you should make sure that you've chosen to let search engines index your pages and show them in search results . If there are certain pages on your site that you don't want to appear in search results, you can choose to prevent search engines from indexing them . Understand that getting indexed is different from getting a high ranking Just because Bing crawled and indexed your site, it doesn’t mean that it will rank high in search results. This is especially true if your market is very competitive. Your website may be somewhere in the list of results for your keywords, but it may be on the 10th, 50th, or 100th page. After you complete your SEO Setup Checklist, it's important to keep working on your ranking. Some of the ways you can do this are optimizing your site's content , making your site accessible , and making your site mobile friendly . Optimize your keywords If you're not ranking high on Bing for the search terms you're targeting, you may want to adjust your list of keywords . When choosing your keywords, ask yourself, “What would a customer type into Bing when they look for a business like mine?” Next, take a look at your site and make sure that you've used your keywords as much as possible. It’s important to use your page’s keywords in a natural, unforced way. One way you can do this is by describing the main purpose of your site in different ways. Learn More You can use your keywords in your domain, in your headlines, within the text on your pages, and as alt text in your images. Generate traffic for your site with fresh content and backlinks Bing tends to favor sites that are well-written and frequently updated content. Your site's ranking may be affected if your site is low on quality content, duplicates content from others sites, or is mostly ads and redirects. You should try to create fresh content for your site on a regular basis to keep your site up to date. Some of the ways you can do this are by adding a blog for your updates, making an FAQs page that answers popular questions for your target audience, and adding a testimonials page for customer reviews. Learn More It also helps your ranking if you get links ( known as backlinks ) to your site from relevant or reputable sites. This improves your online reputation and credibility, increasing your chances of ranking higher. Share your site on social media Sharing your site on your social media can help improve your ranking in search results. The more your site is shared and reshared, the more likely it is that Bing will consider your content popular and give your site a high ranking. Remember that ranking takes time If your site is new, it could take time for it to reach a high ranking. SEO is a long-term strategy and changes rarely happen within days or even weeks. Your site won’t show up in Bing results for your keywords overnight and the more competitive your market, the tougher it will be to rank high. Once you’ve chosen great keywords to target, put fresh content on your website as often as possible. Consider adding new pages, images, or blog articles that incorporate your keywords. • Offering Gift Cards with the Gifted App | Wix Expert

< Back Managing your business Business solutions & apps Offering Gift Cards with the Gifted App Important: Starting July 31, 2026, issuing new gift cards via the Gifted app on Wix will no longer be supported. This change affects only the creation of new gift cards. All existing gift cards issued through Gifted will remain fully valid and can continue to be redeemed as usual, in line with the original terms and conditions. This article refers to gift cards provided through the Gifted app. Wix now offers its own gift card solution . Increase Wix Stores sales and boost your brand by selling digital gift cards. You can set the gift card amount or let your customers decide the value. Important: Gift cards are offered via the Gifted third-party app, available only in English. The app is free to add. You pay a commission for each gift card purchased. Gift card use is subject to local laws. Be sure to follow local regulations. If you haven't yet made sales, you can update the gift card currency in the Settings tab of the Gifted dashboard. How customers purchase gift cards Customers visiting your store can check out the gift cards you offer on your site's gift card page. After selecting a card, entering the recipient's details, and setting when the card should be sent, customers pay directly to Gifted to complete the purchase. As soon as the card is received, the sender gets an email informing them that the gift card was delivered (unless they bought it for themselves). How gift cards are redeemed When the time arrives, the gift card recipient gets a notification by email, text message, or through WhatsApp - depending on what method the sender selected. The sender also has the option of printing out the gift card and delivering it offline. If the recipient gets notified by email, the message arrives with the subject line "Anne, you've received a gift card from Adam!" (with the relevant names). By clicking the Open Gift Card link, they can access the code and see their balance. To redeem the card, the recipient heads over to your store and finds items to purchase. During checkout, they enter their unique gift card code. What if the sale is worth more than the gift card? Customers are required to pay for the remaining cost, using your regular payment methods. Viewing gift card sales in your site's dashboard When a customer purchases a gift card, the purchase appears in the Orders tab. The sale is marked as "Paid" and "Fulfilled". Tip: You can click the Gifted button to access the Gifted dashboard. There you can find more detailed information about the purchase in the Sales Report tab. Later, when a shopper pays using the gift card, you'll see that order in the Orders tab. This order needs to be fulfilled like any regular order. Notes: For the purposes of tracking revenue, it is the initial gift card purchase that is calculated. Later when the card is redeemed, the sale is not included as part of your revenue, so as not to count the same earnings twice. In other words, if you sell a $100 card in January, this counts as January revenue. If that same card is redeemed in June, it does not count towards your June revenue. For accounting data, refer to the information found in the Gifted dashboard. Adding and setting up gift cards First, add the Gifted app and create an account. Can I ever pause the option to enter a gift card number at checkout? Yes. The option to enter a gift card number at checkout is automatically enabled, but you can always disable it. Go to eCommerce Settings in your site's dashboard. Scroll down to the Gift Card section. Click the Enable gift card at checkout toggle to disable it. Can gift cards be used to purchase product subscriptions? No, Gifted gift cards cannot be applied to product subscriptions. Can you refund gift cards or items purchased with a gift card? After a customer purchases a gift card through the Gifted app, it is not possible to refund their money. In addition, if a customer purchased store items by redeeming a gift card, it is not possible to refund the gift card value they paid. Tips: In cases where sales were only partially paid for with a gift card, you can process the part of the sale paid for with another payment method. To compensate customers, you can offer a store coupon. For example, if a customer pays $20 with a gift card and would like a refund, you can offer a $20 off coupon.
