Wix Bookings: Service Times on Live Site Differ from Service Times in Calendar

There are two reasons why the service times on your live site might differ from the times that you set or the times appearing in your Wix Bookings calendar.

Your customer is viewing your live site from a different time zone

Your customer may be located in a different time zone. You can choose whether to display service times in your time zone, your customers' time zone, or to let them select a time zone. Learn How

Note that the time zone you set in the Business Info tab determines:

  • The time zone for services on your live site (if you selected to display services in your own time zone)

  • The time zone in your Wix Booking calendar

  • The time zone in your Google calendar (if synced)

Note: Confirmation emails for one-on-one services state the time of the service in the customer's time zone. Confirmation emails for group services state the time of the service in your time zone.

Your service duration exceeds your business hours

It is not possible for a customer to book a service which exceeds your business hours. Therefore Wix Bookings only displays service times which are within your business hours.

For example, if your business hours are set to 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and your service has a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes, the last available time slot is 3:30 PM. A customer cannot book a service which begins at 4:00 PM.

Tip: If you set a time buffer between appointments, some time slots may be unavailable to customers. To learn more, click here.
