Wix Bookings: Creating Coupons Using the Wix App

Boost your sales and keep clients happy by creating discount coupons they can use when booking services. You can offer a fixed amount coupon ($20 off) or a percentage discount coupon (20% off).

Tip:

If your site has Wix Stores and Wix Bookings, you can create coupons that can be used on products or services or both. Learn more about the 5 types of coupons available for Stores.

To create a bookings coupon:

  1. Go to your site in the Wix app.

  2. Tap the Manage icon .

  3. Tap Coupons under Marketing.

  4. Tap Add a Coupon.

  5. Select the discount type for your coupon:$ Discount: Enter the amount that will be taken off the price.
    % Discount: Enter the percentage of the discount you want to offer.

  6. Tap Next.

  7. Enter the coupon code your clients will enter to get the discount.

  8. Enter the coupon name.
    Note: This name appears in the coupons list in your site's dashboard.

  9. Tap Next.

  10. Choose which services the coupon applies to:
    Tip: If your site also has a store, you see additional options.All services: Applies to any available booking service you offer.
    Specific service: Applies to one specific booking service. Tap to select the relevant service.

  11. Set the coupon's start and end date:Tap the date under Valid from.
    Select a start date from the calendar.
    (Optional) Select an end date from the calendar.
    Tap Save.

  12. (Optional) Apply limits to the number of times the coupon can be used:
    Limit number of total uses:Tap the Limit number of total uses toggle to enable it.
    Enter the number of times the coupon can be used.
    One use per customer: Tap the toggle to enable it.

  13. Tap Done.

  14. (Optional) Tap Share to share your new coupon.

Notes:

  • Clients cannot apply coupons to membership plans, plans that have no fee, or to services that are set to Custom Price (Free/Prices Vary).

  • Clients can apply coupons to group bookings. Both the monetary and the percentage discount apply to the total value of the booking.
