Click Set expiration time . Select how long a submission remains valid: Never: The submission does not expire. Custom: Set the number of months before the submission expires. Click Save . Why am I seeing “No valid submission” for my client’s form if they already filled one out? You might see this message if your client’s previous form submission is no longer valid. This can happen for a few reasons: The submission expired: If a form has a validity period that you set in your intake form settings. Once that time passes, the submission expires, and the status changes to Not Valid . The form was updated: If you changed the form (for example, added or removed questions), older submissions may no longer match the current version. The client used a different contact: If your client booked with a different email or phone number, their previous submission won’t be linked. Status changed manually: You have manually changed the status of the form to Not Valid. To edit the status of an intake form submission in your Contacts tab, click the question below. Can I change the status of a form submission? Yes. You can update a client’s form status to reflect its current validity, for example, if a form was submitted incorrectly or incompletely. To change the status of a form: Go to Contacts in your site's dashboard. Hover over the relevant contact and click View . Click the Intake Forms tab. Click Valid / Not Valid under Status for the relevant intake form. Select the desired status to change it. Can clients fill out a form for a group booking? No, forms are linked to individual clients, not group bookings. Each participant in the group needs their own valid form submission. Share the intake form with each member of the booking so they can fill it out. For example, if a group booking shows a valid form status, this only reflects the client who made the booking. Make sure to check that all participants have valid submissions before the session starts. Can I view and manage form submissions from my phone? Yes. From the Wix app you can: View and change a contact's submission status. See submission details. View if a client doesn't have a valid submission for an upcoming session. Share a form link. To view and manage intake form submissions from your app: Go to your site in the Wix app. Tap Manage at the bottom. Tap Customers & Leads . Tap Contacts . Select the relevant contact. On the Manage tab, scroll down to the Intake forms section. Tap the relevant intake form to view, share or change its status. Note: You can download submissions as PDFs only from your desktop dashboard, not from the mobile app. Does my intake form display when making a booking in my member apps or in the Wix app? If your intake form is set to show during booking (and not after), it appears when someone books through your member apps or the Wix app. Note: To choose when your clients see your intake form when booking, go to Booking Policies in your site's dashboard. Will Wix continue to support the existing bookings waiver feature? The existing bookings waiver feature will soon be removed and the Wix Intake Forms app will replace it. To continue using waivers with your bookings and access updated features, install the Intake Forms app from the Wix App Market. Important: If you want to save your old waiver submission data, export your submissions before the old feature is removed. When do clients receive the waiver? If you have selected for your clients to fill out and submit the intake form when making a booking, the form will appear as part of the booking flow itself. If you have chosen for your clients to submit the waiver after booking, you can share the link to the intake form manually with them. Note: If a client does not have a valid submission for the intake form connected to the service they are booking, they will receive the link to the form via email. Can I archive or delete a form? Deleting a form removes all previous submissions. To archive a form: Go to your Intake Forms tab. Hover over the relevant intake form and click the More Actions icon . Select Archive . - Studio Editor: Troubleshooting Menus | Wix Expert
< Back Studio, Partners & Enterprise Wix Studio Studio Editor: Troubleshooting Menus You may come across issues with menu elements in your editor. These are usually related to the menu's design and sizing, as well as the arrangement of elements on the page. We've compiled the most common issues with menus in this article. Use the options to ensure that menus function as expected, and keep building the best sites for your clients. Menu showing different items on different pages You may notice that a site menu is displaying different items on different pages. This is usually because there are multiple headers in use across the site—so any changes you make to the attached menu only apply to pages using that specific header. This issue can also be the result of using a non-global section as a page header. Changes made to non-global sections and their elements only apply to the page you're working on, which can lead to differences across the site. We recommend using the same header across all site pages. You can set the section as global, and show it on every page on the site. To create and use a global section: Go to your editor . Select the header you want to use on every page. Click the More Actions icon . Hover over Set as Global . Select Header from the options. Apply the header to all pages: Click Global Sections on the left side of your editor. Hover over the new global section and click the More Actions icon . Click Add to... Select the checkbox next to All Pages . Click Apply . Menus not displaying correctly on smaller breakpoints When adding different menus to breakpoints (e.g. a horizontal menu on desktop and a hamburger menu on tablet and mobile), you may notice issues. These can include the menus becoming visible or invisible across all breakpoints, overlapping with other elements, etc. This issue is generally because you are adding the latest menu component, which works a bit differently to older menus. Depending on what you want to do, use the options below to learn more about resolving this issue. Showing different menu layouts per breakpoint Previously, if you wanted to show different menu layouts across breakpoints, you needed to add both types of menus, and hide / show them accordingly. With the latest menu component, you can change the layout per breakpoint; so there's no need to add multiple menus. Show me how to change a menu's layout per breakpoint Go to your editor . Open the relevant breakpoint . Select the menu. Click the Layout icon . Select the menu type: Navigation bar: Menu items are displayed in a bar. Under Orientation , choose whether the bar is horizontal or vertical. Hamburger: An icon is displayed. When site visitors click the icon, the menu opens. Showing different menu items per breakpoint In order to display different menu items per breakpoint, you still need to add multiple menus . You can then use the Layers panel for each breakpoint to decide which menus to display. Show me how to show different menus per breakpoint Go to your editor . Add and set up the menus from any breakpoint. Choose which menus to show for each breakpoint: Click Layers on the left side of the editor. Hover over a menu and click the More Actions icon . Click Hide / Show . Repeat steps b-c for other the menus in the panel. Note: While the Studio Editor generally uses a cascading design, this does not apply to all elements / apps. You need to follow the above steps on each breakpoint to manually hide and show the menus you want. Menu design changes on hover or click You can change the design of your menu items for each state (Regular, Hover, and Selected). If you notice unexpected design changes when you use the menu on the live site (e.g. text disappears, the background color changes), we recommend checking the design for the specific state and adjusting as needed. To check a menu's design: Go to your editor . Select the menu. Click the Open Inspector icon at the top right of the editor. Scroll down to Design . Select Menu items from the What do you want to design? drop-down. Select the state where you're seeing the issue ( Hover or Selected ). Check the design settings and make adjustments as needed. Having issues with menu dropdowns? Follow our troubleshooting guide here . Anchor item doesn't work in a site menu Anchors allow you to link directly to an element. You can display them in both regular site menus and dedicated anchor menus. If nothing happens when you click an anchor item in a site menu, we recommend checking that the anchor itself is still enabled on the element. You can also check the anchor item in the menu to ensure it's set up the way you want. Show me how to check the anchor settings Go to your editor . Select the element that has the anchor. Click the Open Inspector icon at the top right of the editor. Scroll down to Anchor . Check that the Add an anchor toggle is enabled. Show me how to check the anchor item in the menu Go to your editor . Select the menu. Click Manage Menu . Hover over the anchor item and click the More Actions icon . Select Change link . Check the link settings and adjust as needed. This article is credited to the Wix team - https://support.wix.com/ and we thank them for that! Previous Next Need An AI Run Website? Contact Us Today!
