Additionally, the Wixel Agent may not generate your request if it goes against the Wix Terms of Use . What's the difference between connecting an app and connecting a social media account? • Email Marketing: Understanding Your Campaign Statistics in the Wix App | Wix Expert

< Back Promoting your site Sending email marketing campaigns Email Marketing: Understanding Your Campaign Statistics in the Wix App Using the Wix app, you can keep track of your email campaigns and analyze their performance on the go. Get an overview of all your campaigns at once from the main dashboard and click a specific campaign to see more details. Recipient Stats Recipient Stats are the individual stats for each recipient you sent the email campaign to. In this section, each contact is counted once even if they took the action multiple times. For example, if the same person has opened your email three times, they will still be counted as one. Sent: The total amount of contacts you've sent the email campaign to. Delivered: The total number of contacts who received your email campaign to their inboxes. You can also see the percentage they make of those sent. Opened: The contacts who have opened your email campaign. You can also see the percentage they make of those delivered. Clicked: The contacts who have clicked links inside your email campaign (a button, a direct URL). You can also see the percentage they make of those opened. Not delivered: The total number of contacts who did not receive your email campaign because these emails bounced. Note: When an email campaign can't be delivered to an email address, it’s usually because it has bounced (has been blocked by the recipient’s email server). Not opened: The contacts who received the campaign but did not open it. Example Lisa owns an online health & wellness store. She sent her weekly newsletter to 1,000 contacts. In the Recipient Stats section, she can see a breakdown of her email's performance: Sent: Her email was sent to a 1,000 contacts. Delivered: 800 of her contacts have successfully received the newsletter to their inbox. Opened: Out of the recipients who have received the campaign, 350 people (44%) opened and read it. Clicked: Out of the recipients who have opened the campaign, 250 people (70%) also clicked on links inside the campaign. Not Delivered: The 200 remaining contacts who did not receive the campaign. Not Opened: The 450 contacts who have received the campaign but did not open it. Tip: Click any stat to see the list of recipients that we counted. Email Stats The Email Stats show the total amount of times people viewed and clicked your email campaign, either on desktop or mobile device. The totals count each action individually, even if it was done by the same person. For example, if a recipient has seen your campaign four times, all four times count towards the total amount of views. Views: The total number of times recipients viewed your campaign. Clicks: The total number of times recipients clicked on links in your campaign. Example Lisa owns an online health & wellness store. She sent her weekly newsletter to 1,000 contacts. In the Email Total Stats section, she notices that her campaign has gained 600 views so far. This doesn't necessarily mean 600 people have viewed the campaign, but that the campaign was viewed 600 times in total. She also sees there is a total of 280 clicks on her campaign, which means not every recipient has clicked on the links inside her campaign. Social Stats Every email campaign has a landing page with a direct URL that you can share with other people on any platform. In Social Stats, you can see the total amount of times people viewed or clicked your campaign's landing page. Each action is counted individually, even if it was done by the same person. Views: The total number of times people viewed your campaign after its URL was shared on social media and other communication platforms. Clicks: The total number of times people have clicked on your campaign's landing page to view it in full screen, after it was shared on social media channels. Tip: If you've sent an email campaign to your subscribers and also shared its URL on other platforms, the social stats appear in a separate tab. The tab is created automatically once your campaign gets views through the direct link. Example Lisa owns an online health & wellness store. She created an Email Marketing campaign and shared a direct link to its landing page on social media and other channels. In the Social Stats section, Lisa sees that her campaign was viewed 600 times. Among the 600 views, there were 280 clicks on links included in the campaign. Site Activity The top of your screen shows a breakdown of the different types of activity created from your email campaign. Here, you can easily track traffic, sales and more by swiping left. Site Activity shows how effective an email campaign is in bringing in traffic and sales to your site. Total orders: The number of store orders, bookings, and any other purchases placed on your site. This includes paid, canceled, and refunded orders. Total sales: The total amount of money expected from all sales, before deducting refunds, shipping, and fees. This includes both online and manual payments. Site sessions: A session is a visit to your site. A unique visitor can have more than one site session. • CMS: Changing Your Collection Permissions | Wix Expert

< Back Advanced features CMS CMS: Changing Your Collection Permissions Set collection permissions in the CMS (Content Management System) to control who can view, add, update, or delete collection content. You can customize access levels for each collection and role, ensuring your site's data remains secure and properly managed. For example, you might allow site members to contribute to one collection while restricting access to other sensitive collections. Permissions can also be customized for collaborators, item creators, and custom roles, giving you control over what each role can do with specific collections. Collection permissions let you decide if site visitors and members can access or add content on the live site through input elements and the Data API . By default, collaborators with CMS access have full control from within the CMS, including viewing, adding, updating, and deleting content. However, with advanced permissions, you can set specific access levels for custom collaborator roles to limit who can manage or modify collections. Important: Collaborators with admin roles always maintain full access to your collections. Admins can perform all actions, including viewing, adding, updating, and deleting collection content, whether from the live site or the CMS itself. Changing your collection permissions To change the permissions for a collection, go to the collection's settings and access the Permissions & privacy tab. Then choose the relevant option to show content, collect content, or create advanced permissions. Important: Setting collection permissions to 'Everyone' means that any site visitor can access the collection by using an API, even if the content is not presented on the live site. Learn more about using authorization suppression with the Data API to bypass permissions. If your collection has encrypted PII fields and anyone can view it, a warning appears in the Permissions & privacy tab. To clear the warning, restrict who can view the collection. Alternatively, you can click the CMS icon in your editor , then click Your Collections . Click the More Actions icon next to the relevant collection and select Permissions & privacy . Click the Who can view this content? drop-down and choose an option: Everyone: Any site visitor can view the collection content on the live site. Members only: Only site members can view the collection content on the live site. Click Save . They can perform all actions, including viewing, adding, updating, and deleting collection content, whether from the live site or the CMS itself. Collect content Allow visitors to add content as new collection items via input elements on the live site or API. This permission does not allow visitors to update the contents of existing items. This lets you control what people with each access level can do with your site's collection content. For each user role, select the checkboxes to choose whether they can view content, add new items, update existing items, or delete items. You can also create permissions for specific collaborator roles for greater control over which collaborators can view, add, update, or delete items. Click Advanced . (Optional) Set permissions for specific collaborator roles: Note: By default, all collaborators with CMS access roles share the same permissions unless you create permissions for specific collaborator roles. Click + Set permissions for specific roles . Click the checkbox next to each collaborator role that you want to set specific permissions for. Only roles that allow for CMS access are available. Click Roles & Permissions at the bottom if you need to create or modify any collaborator roles . Click Done . Click the relevant checkboxes next to each role to choose whether users with the role can view, add, update, or delete collection items: Everyone: This role applies to everyone who can access your live site. Selecting a permission for this role also selects it for the other roles in the table. Members: This role applies to site members only. Selecting a permission for this role also selects it for the 'Item's creator' role, the 'Collaborators' role, and any specific roles you add to the table. Item's creator: This role's permissions only apply to the specific items that a member creates themselves. For example, you can set permissions to allow the item's creator to update or delete only the items that they create. Selecting a permission for this role also selects it for the 'Collaborators' role and any specific roles you add to the table. Collaborators: This role applies to all collaborator roles with CMS access. Selecting a permission for this role also selects it for any specific collaborator roles you've set permissions for. Admin: This role applies to site owners and collaborator roles with CMS admin permissions. You cannot change the permissions of this 'Admin' role. Specific roles: If you add roles to the table, they apply to collaborators with specific CMS access roles. If you set permissions for a specific role, then deselect a permission in that role, the permission is also deselected in the main 'Collaborators' role. Click Save . In the table, you can choose from the following access levels for each role: View: People with the relevant role(s) can view the collection content. Add: People with the relevant role(s) can add new items to the collection. Update: People with the relevant role(s) can edit existing collection items. Delete: People with the relevant role(s) can remove existing collection items. Note: With these 'Advanced' collection permissions, admins and collaborators with CMS access maintain full access to the collection. However, you can set permissions for specific collaborator roles to restrict them from having view, add, update, or delete access to the collection. Note: When a collection is set to Save changes as draft first , an extra Collaborators & specific roles permissions table appears below the Advanced permissions table. Use it to control who can view items, create and edit drafts, publish, and delete. Learn more about saving collection changes as drafts before publishing . FAQs Click below for answers to common questions about setting collection permissions. Why do I see a warning about sensitive fields? This warning appears when your collection has encrypted PII fields and anyone can view the collection. Encrypting a field protects how its data is stored, but it doesn't control who can view the data. With 'Everyone' view access, any site visitor can access the content, even through the Data API. To clear the warning, restrict who can view the collection. For example, select Members only from the Who can view this content? dropdown, or use Advanced permissions to choose which roles can view the content. Learn more about storing PII data . What access levels do each of the 'Advanced' permissions represent? The 'Advanced' collection permissions allow you to set specific access levels (View, Add, Update, and Delete) for different roles. Select the checkboxes that represent each access level next to each role to define what people with the roles can do. Choose from the following access levels for each role: View: People with the relevant role(s) can view the collection content. Add: People with the relevant role(s) can add new items to the collection. Update: People with the relevant role(s) can edit existing collection items. Delete: People with the relevant role(s) can remove existing collection items. You can also set specific permissions for each collaborator role that grants access to the CMS. By default, selecting checkboxes next to the main Collaborator role gives all CMS collaborators the selected access level. However, 'Advanced' permissions give you granular control to fine-tune what each different collaborator role can do. For example, you might want a specific collaborator role to have all the permissions, while all other collaborator roles have only 'View' access. You could set permissions for a specific 'Content Writer' role and select all the permissions for that role. Then, only select the View access next to the main Collaborators role. As a result, your 'Content Writer' collaborators would be the only collaborators that can manage the collection content. Keep in mind that admins always maintain full access to your collections. Admins can perform all actions, including viewing, adding, updating, and deleting collection content, whether from the live site or the CMS itself. What makes a collaborator an admin? There are several preset roles you can assign to collaborators that grant them admin access, including the 'CMS Admin' role. In your collection permissions , when you set permissions for a specific role, you can select roles that grant CMS access under Roles with CMS access . Under CMS Admin roles (included) , you can view all the admin roles that maintain full access to your collection. When creating a custom role , select the CMS Manage Content permissions to grant collaborators access to the CMS. Select any of the following permissions to give a custom role full admin access to all your collections: Editor: Edit Site Studio Editor: Edit Code Studio Editor: Edit Site Structure Velo: Access developer tools How can I control which collections are visible to my site collaborators in the CMS? You can control which collections are visible to your site collaborators in the CMS by using the 'Advanced' permissions settings. In the 'Advanced' permissions table, set permissions for specific collaborator roles. Then, uncheck the 'View' permission next to the roles that you want to hide the collection from. You can select or deselect the 'Add', 'Update', and 'Delete' checkboxes to further adjust the access levels of your collaborators. This ensures that collaborators only see the collections relevant to their tasks, simplifying their navigation and protecting sensitive information. Tip: This method is useful for hiding collections with sensitive information, such as user submissions, from collaborators who do not need access to that data. Does the 'Collect content' permission allow visitors to update existing content? No. The 'Collect content' permission allows people to add content as new items in the collection. It does not allow visitors to update the content of existing items . If you want to allow visitors to update the field values of existing items, use the 'Advanced' permissions. In the 'Advanced' permissions, select the 'Update' checkboxes next to the relevant roles so visitors can update the field values of existing collection items. Learn more about creating a custom form with input elements that submit to your collection. What is the difference between custom roles and admin roles? Custom roles allow you to give collaborators tailored access to the CMS and other areas of your site. Admin roles, on the other hand, provide unrestricted access to the CMS and full control of site management. Custom roles automatically become admin roles when any of the following permissions are assigned: Editor: Edit Site Studio Editor: Edit Code Studio Editor: Edit Site Structure Velo: Access developer tools Can I restrict admin roles from accessing the CMS? No, admin roles always grant unrestricted access to the CMS, in addition to other areas of your site. To avoid giving full CMS access, ensure you do not assign permissions that elevate a custom role to admin status. How do my site's collaborator roles and permissions work with collection permissions? In your site's Roles & Permissions settings, you can add roles that give collaborators access to your CMS collections. These CMS access roles , by default, have all the collection permissions to view, add, update, and delete items. However, you can fine-tune their access levels for each collection in your collection permissions. Keep in mind that CMS admin roles always maintain full access to your collections. This means CMS admins can perform all actions, including viewing, adding, updating, and deleting collection content, whether from the live site or the CMS itself. Collection permissions allow you to define what people can do with a specific collection's content. You can define different access levels for each type of user. This includes everyone who can view your site, site members, collaborators with CMS access, and even specific collaborator roles. Different types of users interact with your collection content in different ways, depending on the permissions you grant. While some actions are restricted to the live site, others extend to the CMS backend for collaborators. Here's how collection permissions work for each group of users: Everyone and site members: When granted the relevant collection permissions, these users can only perform actions, such as viewing or modifying collection content, directly on your live site. Typically, this is done through input elements , but can also be done with the Data API . Collaborators with CMS access: These collaborators, on the other hand, can perform these same actions both on the live site and within the CMS backend. Their access to the CMS provides additional control and management capabilities that go beyond what’s available on the live site alone. Can I edit permissions for Wix app collections like Wix Stores or Wix Bookings? No, you cannot edit permissions for Wix app collections . You can view these collections in your CMS, but you cannot modify them there. Wix app collections get their content from the corresponding apps (e.g. Wix Stores, Wix Bookings). Manage the content of these Wix app collections from the apps themselves. Can I edit permissions for Wix Blocks collections? No, you cannot edit the permissions Wix Blocks collections. Go to Wix Blocks to modify the content of your Blocks. What default permissions do newly created collections have? By default, new collections you create are set to Show content with Everyone allowed to view content. This article is credited to the Wix team - https://support.wix.com/ and we thank them for that! • Wix Harmony Editor: What's New with Item Pages | Wix Expert

< Back Using the Wix Harmony Editor Using the editor tools Wix Harmony Editor: What's New with Item Pages Important: We're working on releasing CMS in Wix Harmony, which is not yet available in all Wix accounts. Design one page, and every item in your collection gets its own version — same design, different content, each with its own URL. That's one page to build and maintain, instead of a separate one for every item. Item pages replace the dynamic pages you may have used in the Wix Editor or Studio Editor. On static pages, you can only connect text, image, and button elements that are attached to a repeater to your CMS collection. However, item pages allow you to connect text, images, and buttons, wherever you place them on the page. Item pages replace dynamic pages The "dynamic pages" setup is gone, including the split between dynamic list pages and dynamic item pages: Lists live on regular pages: Any page can show your collection — add a repeater and connect it. There's no separate "dynamic list page" type to create or manage. Learn more about what's new with the CMS in Wix Harmony . Item pages are created for you: When you link a repeater to item pages, Wix Harmony generates a page for every collection item, all sharing the layout you design. No datasets: You connect elements to collection fields directly from the Manage Items panel, on the page where you're designing. Creating item pages Add item pages from a repeater you've already added to your page, from the Add panel, from your collection in the CMS, or by asking Aria. If you don't have a repeater yet, the Add panel and CMS options can create one at the same time. Design once: Every item page shares the same layout. Changes you make on one apply to all of them. From a repeater Link a button or image in your repeater to create your first item page. That element then becomes what visitors click to open the relevant item's page. To create item pages from your repeater: Go to your editor . Click a button or image in your repeater. Click Link on the action bar at the top. Click the Use content from a collection icon . Click the Choose field dropdown and select Create your first item page . Click the item page template you want to use to display your collection items. Click Add . Connecting elements on your item page: Once you've created an item page, use the Manage Items panel to connect the elements on your item page to your collection fields. An item page shows one item at a time, so you don't need a repeater — connect elements wherever you place them. From the Add panel Add an item page or a bundle that includes both an item page and a page with a repeater. The page with a repeater displays a list of several of your collection items. You can link buttons and images in the repeater to the item page so visitors click the relevant item to view details in the item page. To create item pages from the Add panel: Go to your editor . Click + Add at the top left of the editor and select Pages . Click Lists . Choose a template with the pink CMS label at the top: Item page only: Hover over the relevant page template and click Add Page . This adds one item page for displaying details about one individual item at a time. Item page and page with repeater: Hover over the relevant bundle and click Add Pages . This adds an item page and a static page with a repeater, each connected to your collection content. From your CMS collection You can also start from the collection itself. Add a collection page from CMS in your site's dashboard, then choose whether you want an item page or a page with a repeater. To add an item page from your collection: Go to CMS in your site's dashboard. Click the relevant collection. Click Add Collection Page at the bottom of your collection. Your editor opens to the Add collection page panel. Alternatively, click the More Actions dropdown at the top and select Add collection page . Click the template you want to use: Item page: Displays details about one item at a time. Click Blank Canvas to design the page from scratch. Page with a repeater: Adds a page that lists several of your items. Link buttons and images in the repeater to your item page so visitors can click through to the details. Click Add . From Aria Aria, the AI agent in your editor, can add an item page for you. Name the collection you want to display in your request so Aria adds the page for the right content. Learn more about working with Aria . To create item pages with Aria: Go to your editor . Click Ask Aria at the bottom right of the editor. Enter your request in the chat, including the name of the relevant collection. For example, "Add an item page for my Recipes collection". Connecting elements on your item page An item page shows one item at a time, so you don't need a repeater. Connect text, images, and buttons to your collection wherever you place them on the page — add elements for extra details, redesign the page, or start from a blank canvas. Note: The label above an element shows whether it's connected. Blue means the element is static, pink means it's connected to your collection. To connect an element to your collection: Go to your editor . Go to your item page. (If needed) Add a text, image, or button element from the Add panel. Click the element you want to connect. Connect the element to your CMS collection: Click Connect to {your collection} or click the pink label with the connected field name. Click the Use content from a collection icon . Click the Choose field dropdown and select the collection field you want the element to show. Need to change the text displayed on your button? Select the button and click Edit Text in the action bar. You can enter static text that stays the same for each item or click the Use content from a collection icon to use a collection field to display text that changes based on the item. Item page URLs Every item page URL has 2 parts you can edit. The prefix (for example, /recipes/) is shared by all the item pages connected to your collection. The slug (for example, chocolate-cake) is unique to each item and comes from the item's Item slug field in your collection. Together, they create the item page's address: yoursite.com/recipes/chocolate-cake One slug per URL: An item page URL contains a single slug. You can't add more collection fields to the URL structure. Slugs are unique: Wix Harmony adds -1, -2, and so on to keep generated slugs unique. If you edit a slug to a value that already exists, you can't save it until you choose a different one. Edit a slug in your collection: The Item slug field appears to the right of your collection fields once you create an item page. This field uses the 'Slug' field type, and you can't change its name or type. Click an item's slug to change the ending of its item page URL. Edit the prefix in your page settings: Change the prefix from your item page's settings in the Site Pages panel. This updates the URLs of every item page connected to the collection. Important: Changing an item's slug or the shared prefix creates new URLs, so any links you've already shared stop working. To automatically redirect visitors from the old URLs to the new ones, first connect a domain to your site . Managing your item page settings Your item pages share one set of settings. Open the settings from the Site Pages panel to edit the shared URL prefix, choose who can access the pages, and set up SEO. To open your item page settings: Go to your editor . Click the Page dropdown at the top left of the page. (In the Site Pages panel) Hover over the relevant item page and click the More Actions icon . Select Settings . Choose what you want to edit: Page URL: Shows the URL ending your item pages share — the prefix, then each item's Item slug . Click the Edit icon to change the prefix for every item page in the collection. Access: Click Manage Access to choose who can open your item pages: everyone, visitors with a password, or site members. For members, you can allow all site members, or only members with specific roles, plans, or badges. SEO: Click Go to SEO Settings to set up all your collection pages for SEO in one place. You can also customize how item pages appear in search results. Learn more about editing SEO settings for item pages . Page info: Shows the collection your item pages come from, with a link to it, and how many item pages were created. Tip: To rename, duplicate, or delete your item page, hover over the page, click the More Actions icon and choose the relevant option. FAQs Click a question below to learn more about item pages in Wix Harmony. Can I turn an existing static page into an item page? Yes. Ask Aria to convert your page, and include the name of the collection in your request. You can also ask Aria to turn an item page into a static page. Learn more about working with Aria . Can I show my items grouped by category? There's no category-based page type , but you can get the same effect with filters. Create a page for each category, add a repeater to each one, and filter it to show only the items from that category. Then link to these pages from your site's menu or with buttons. Can visitors submit content, like with a custom CMS form? Forms built with input elements that submit to collections aren't part of Wix Harmony. To collect information from visitors — like contact requests or signups — add a form with Wix Forms instead. Can visitors view item pages in a set order? Visitors reach an item page by clicking its item in your repeater, so the repeater's order is the order they see. Item pages don't have Previous or Next buttons for moving between items . To give visitors a way to move between items, add a repeater to your item page and connect it to the same collection. They can click any item in it to open that item's page. Sorting the Item slug field in your collection (A-Z or Z-A) only changes the order of items in the collection itself — not in your repeater or on your live site. To change the order visitors see, sort the repeater instead. Learn more about filtering and sorting content in the Wix Harmony Editor .
