< Back Managing your media Using the Pro Gallery Wix Pro Gallery: Setting the Image Quality for Gallery Media The Wix Pro Gallery allows you to set and customize the image quality per individual media files, or for all of your media at once. Setting the image quality for individual media Go to your editor . Click the pro gallery element on your page. Click Manage Media . Click the relevant image / video and click the More Actions icon . Click Adjust Quality and choose what you want to customize: Adjust Image Quality : Enable the toggle to adjust the image quality. Drag the slider to increase or decrease the quality. Image Sharpening : Enable the toggle to adjust the image sharpness and customize the following: Amount: Increase or decrease the amount of sharpening applied to the image. Radius: Increase or decrease the number of pixels from the edge that the sharpening affects. Threshold: Set how different a pixel must be from the surrounding area before it’s considered an edge pixel and sharpened by the filter. Note: The lower the threshold number, the more intense the sharpening effect. Click Apply . Setting the image quality for all media Go to your editor . Click the pro gallery element on your page. Click Settings . Click the Advanced tab and scroll to the Advanced Image Settings section. Customize the image quality using the following options: Image Quality: Drag the slider to increase or decrease the quality. Note: It is not recommended that you increase the image quality to above 90, as this may lead to a reduction in your site's performance. Image Sharpening: Enable the toggle to adjust how the image sharpening is set: Amount: Increase or decrease the amount of sharpening applied to your media. Radius: Increase or decrease the number of pixels from the edge that the sharpening affects. Threshold: Set how different a pixel must be from the surrounding area before it’s considered an edge pixel and sharpened by the filter. Note: The lower the threshold number, the more intense the sharpening effect. Convert images to a modern format: Converting your images to modern formats compresses the images without reducing their quality. This improves your site's loading time and images still download in their original format. Enable or disable the toggle according to your preference. We recommend keeping the toggle enabled, as disabling it may affect your site's loading time. Enabled: (Recommended) Images are converted to a modern format. Disabled: Images display in their original file format. This may affect site loading time. Automatically resize images: Wix automatically resizes gallery images to optimize media loading time and maintain site visitor's viewing experience. Click the drop-down to choose when images are resized. We recommend keeping the setting set to Always so that your site's loading time is not affected. Always (recommended): Gallery images are automatically resized to improve your site's loading time. Gallery Only: Only media in the main view of the Pro Gallery are resized. Images in the Expand Mode display in their original resolution. Never: Media load in their original resolution. This may affect your site's loading time, but also allows for better pinch zoom / zoom in with the magnifying glass in the Expand mode. FAQs Click a question below to learn more about setting the image quality for gallery images: What is the recommended resolution to upload my image in? We recommend you upload the best possible quality media files to your gallery to ensure the best results. Make sure to upload images / videos of at least 2560 X 1440 pixels in resolution. We optimize them to the exact dimensions displayed on screen, without any loss of quality. Does sharpening my image affect the contrast of the whole image? No. Sharpening your image does not affect the contrast of the whole image. The sharpening tool only increases the contrast of the edges of lines within the image. The brighter sides of edges become brighter while the darker sides become darker. Note: If you use a very low sharpening threshold, the algorithm may recognize image noise as edges or borders. This can make the image noise more noticeable since the contrast of the noise is increased. What can I do if my images look over-saturated? If your images look over-saturated or too contrasted, try decreasing the values in the Sharpening section. Note: By default, browsers automatically apply aliasing to images to prevent distortion. This is to reduce visual artifacts and other glitches that can result from images displayed in their original quality. A browser's down-scaling algorithm may lead to data loss in high-resolution images. As a result, rendering full-resolution images smaller than the image's actual size affects image quality. This generally results in a smoothening of colors or blurring of the image on your live site in comparison to the original file. - Changing a Domain After Purchase | Wix Expert
< Back Billing & premium subscriptions Managing your subscriptions Changing a Domain After Purchase It is not possible to change or edit a domain name or domain extension after you purchase it. The only way to change the domain name for your site is by purchasing a new domain and assigning it to your site . For example, it isn't possible to correct a typo in your domain. You need to purchase a new domain instead. Or, to change the domain extension for your domain (e.g. switching from .com to .org) you need to buy a new domain with the new domain extension. Important: Domains purchased through Wix are set to renew automatically. We recommend that you turn the auto renewal option off for the incorrect domain to avoid paying for another year. - Wix Smart Chat: Managing Your Settings | Wix Expert
< Back Managing your business Managing your customers Wix Smart Chat: Managing Your Settings Wix Smart Chat settings let you control how your chat works on your site: when it’s available, what visitors see, and how your AI and manual chat experiences are configured. From here, you can manage your availability mode, visitor greetings, contact form behavior, offline experience, and avatars. Tips: If you change your mind, click Discard to revert to the last saved version. Any change you make here won’t apply until you click Save . Choosing your chat availability mode By default, Smart Chat starts with the AI Chat being active 24/7 so visitors can get answers right away. You can change the mode anytime to suit your business model and response style. To choose the chat availability mode: Go to Smart Chat in your site's dashboard. Click the Manage drop-down and select General settings . Select a chat availability mode: AI Chat 24/7 Visitors can get instant answers, day or night. This keeps your site responsive even when you're away, and helps capture leads and handle common questions automatically. Manual chat 24/7 Visitors message you directly, and you reply from your Inbox . This is best to use if you want a personal, human touch in every conversation. This requires you (or your team) to be available to respond throughout the day. Scheduled hours Use scheduled hours to control exactly when your chat is active and if the AI Chat or Manual Chat handles it during those times. When there is no active time slot, the chat follows your offline settings . When selecting this option, click View scheduled hours to customize the chat schedule: Set the time zone for your schedule. Choose the days and start/end times for each time slot. Decide who’s active in each slot (AI Chat or Manual Chat). Add or remove time slots to match your weekly routine. Inactive Choose Inactive if you don’t want the chat to respond immediately. Your chat won’t provide live replies, but you can still keep the widget visible to collect visitor details, show an offline message, and let visitors leave a message. Tip: Customize the offline settings to control what visitors see when the chat is inactive. Adjust the avatar settings Choose the profile images visitors see in your chat when they’re speaking with the AI Chat or Manual Chat. Adding a recognizable avatar helps visitors understand who they’re chatting with and keeps the experience consistent with your brand. To adjust the avatar settings: Go to Smart Chat in your site's dashboard. Click the Manage drop-down and select General settings . Under Avatar settings , choose which to update: AI Chat Avatar: Set the avatar visitors see when your AI Chat replies. Use a brand icon or assistant image so visitors instantly recognize they’re chatting with AI. Manual Chat Avatar: Set the avatar visitors see when you or your team members reply in manually. This can be your logo, a team photo, or a staff avatar - however you want to appear to visitors. Tips: For best results, upload a high-resolution square image (at least 100 x 100px) in PNG, JPG, or GIF format. Use the preview on the right to see how the avatar will look inside the chat before saving. Configuring the AI Chat settings When the Smart Chat is active, you can control what visitors see when they open the chat and how the AI helps guide the conversation. These settings let you tailor the AI experience to match your business, whether that’s adding a welcome message, suggesting quick topics, or showing page overviews while visitors browse. To configure the AI Chat settings: Go to Smart Chat in your site's dashboard. Click the Manage drop-down and select General settings . Choose what you want to set up under When AI Chat is active : Conversation starter Select the checkbox next to the messages you want the AI to send visitors: Show a conversation starter when visitors open the chat: Write a welcome message to help site visitors know what they can ask and how the AI can help. Add a legal disclaimer in the chat: Enter a disclaimer in the field letting site visitors know that responses are AI-generated and may not always be accurate. This is helpful for setting expectations and supporting compliance needs. The disclaimer will appear once to every site visitor, right after the first welcome message. Quick topics Quick topics are clickable prompts that appear in the chat to help visitors start the right conversation faster, especially when they’re not sure what to ask. Select the Generate start questions or topics checkbox. Then, customize the following elements: Intro text: Add a short line above the topics to guide visitors. For example: "Choose a topic to get quick answers:" Topics list: Add up to 5 topics. Each one appears as a clickable option in the chat and can be reordered or removed. Tip: If you activated the AI Chat, test these questions first to make sure the AI knows how to answer them accurately. Page overviews Page overviews help site visitors stay oriented while they browse your site with the chat open. Select the checkbox to enable this feature. When enabled, the chat gives a short summary of the page they’re currently viewing, so visitors get quick context without leaving the conversation. Configuring the Manual Chat settings When the Manual Chat is active, visitors can message you directly and wait for your reply. In this section, you can control what visitors see when they open the chat so that expectations are clear and the conversation begins smoothly. To configure the Manual Chat settings: Go to Smart Chat in your site's dashboard. Click the Manage drop-down and select General settings . Under When Manual Chat is active , choose what to customize: Conversation starter Choose to display a short personalized greeting at the start of a new Manual Chat. When the AI can’t answer their question When they ask to talk to a real person Contact form in Manual Chat Choose when the contact form appears in Manual Chat, so you can collect visitor details before or during the conversation. Choose when to display it: Part of the welcome screen: Show the form as soon as the chat opens. (Optional) Require the form before visitors can send a message. After they send a message: Show the form once the site visitors sends the first message Never: Don't show the contact form in the Manual Chat. Open the chat when visitors enter your site: The chat opens automatically on page load, so visitors notice it right away and can start a conversation faster. Keep the chat widget minimized when visitors enter your site: The chat stays closed until a visitor clicks it. This is a more subtle experience and gives visitors control over when to engage (Optional) Show a message above the minimized chat: If the widget is minimized, you can set a short message that appears on the widget (e.g. "Need help?") to encourage visitors to open the chat. (Optional) Show quick topics when the chat is minimized: Help visitors start the right conversation faster by providing your most common topics. Learn more about quick topics. Chat visibility Choose on which pages the widget is shown: All Pages: The widget will appear on every page of your site . Specific Pages: Click Select Pages to deselect the pages you want to hide the widget on. Click Save to confirm your selection. Note: When your site works with dynamic pages (e.g. Wix Stores or Wix Blog pages), the page template and all the pages using that template will not show the chat widget when you deselect the page. Customizing the chat's offline behavior When the chat is offline, you can choose what visitors see on your site. Setting the behavior for when the chat is offline helps you stay professional and responsive even when you can’t reply right away. This reduces missed opportunities and sets the right expectation about when you’ll respond. The chat goes offline when it's outside your scheduled hours, when the chat availability mode is set to Inactive , or when your AI credits quota is reached. To customize the chat's offline behavior: Go to Smart Chat in your site's dashboard. Click the Manage drop-down and select General settings . Scroll down to When the chat is offline , and click Offline behavior . Choose what to do: Hide the AI chat on my site: Remove the chat widget from your site while the chat is offline, so visitors won’t see the widget or try to start a conversation. To show anything to visitors, select at least one option: Show the contact form to collect leads: Shows your contact form so visitors can leave their details. This helps you capture leads even when no one is available. Let visitors write chat messages: Allow visitors to type and send a message while the chat is offline, so they can still reach out in the chat experience. - Wix Events: About Wix Ticket Service Fees | Wix Expert
< Back Managing your business Business solutions & apps Wix Events: About Wix Ticket Service Fees Wix charges a 2.5% ticket service fee for using the ticketing platform. This fee is separate from the payment processing fees set by your payment provider. Each fee serves a different purpose and is not charged twice. When creating a new ticket , you can choose whether the buyer or your business covers the 2.5% ticket service fee. Notes: Additional fees may apply for refunds and chargebacks. Free tickets, manual guest entries , and manual payments have no ticket service fee. Pass the ticket service fee on to the buyer When choosing to pass the service fee on to your buyer, it means they pay an additional 2.5% fee on top of their ticket price. At checkout, they see the service fee and the ticket price separately, making the cost extra clear. For example, if you set the ticket price to $100, buyers will see a total charge of $102.50 at checkout. The $100 ticket price goes to you, while the additional $2.50 covers the ticket service fee. Absorb the ticket service fee By absorbing the ticket service fee, you keep the total price lower for buyers. The 2.5% fee is subtracted from your earnings, not from your buyer's total. For example, if you set the ticket price at $100, buyers will only pay $100 at checkout. However, after the 2.5% ticket service fee is deducted, you will receive $97.50. Track your ticket sales From the Orders tab in your site's dashboard, you can see how many tickets you’ve sold and the total revenue for the event . Total sales: The revenue you’ve earned from ticket sales before the ticket service fee is deducted. Net sales: The revenue you’ve earned from ticket sales after the ticket service fee is deducted. The difference between a processing fee and a ticket service fee Processing fees collected by payment providers are separate from the Wix ticket service fee. For payment providers who charge a processing fee: Wix Payments: You’ll receive a monthly email with the details. Third-Party Providers: You can request the invoice directly from your chosen provider. Refunding event tickets with the service fee When you refund a ticket that includes a Wix ticket service fee, the payment processor will refund the fee in full. If you refund part of the ticket, the Wix ticket service fee is reduced by that same amount. For example, a 50% refund also reduces the ticket service fee by 50%. Note: Check with your payment provider about their refund policies for processing fees. This article is credited to the Wix team - https://support.wix.com/ and we thank them for that! - CMS: Adding the Digital Asset Field Type | Wix Expert
< Back Advanced features CMS CMS: Adding the Digital Asset Field Type Use the 'Digital asset' field type when you want to sell a secured digital file — such as an eBook, template, music file, or software download — from a catalog collection . The field stores one file per item and, when mapped as the digital file for sale, delivers it automatically to customers after purchase. Important: The 'Digital asset' field type is only intended for catalog collections and cannot connect to page elements. To store a file as part of regular CMS content or display it on a page, use a 'Document' field type instead. Adding a 'Digital asset' field The 'Digital asset' field type is for catalog collections only — it's how you attach a secured file to items for customers to receive after purchase. When you create or convert a collection to a catalog collection, you can add one 'Digital asset' field. You can add more later, but only one can be the file customers receive at any time. To add a 'Digital asset' field to your collection: Go to CMS in your site's dashboard. Alternatively, you can click CMS in your editor , then click Your Collections . Click the relevant collection. Click Manage Fields . Click + Add Field . Under Media , select the Digital asset field type and click Choose Field Type . Enter the Field name . (If needed) Edit the Field ID used in your site's code. This cannot be changed later. (Optional) Enter text in the Help text (optional) field that will appear in a tooltip at the top of the field in your collection view. Click Save . Hover over the relevant cell under your new 'Digital asset' field and click the Plus icon . Upload or select the relevant file and click Add to Item . Repeat steps 10-11 to add digital files for each item that needs one. Changing which 'Digital asset' field customers receive A 'Digital asset' field is only sent to customers after purchase when it's mapped as the digital file for sale. If your collection has more than one 'Digital asset' field, only one can be mapped for delivery at a time. The others remain in the collection but aren't part of the purchase flow. To change which 'Digital asset' field customers receive: Go to the relevant catalog collection: Go to CMS in your site's dashboard. Alternatively, you can click CMS in your editor , then click Your Collections . Click the relevant collection. Click the More Actions dropdown at the top right and select Edit catalog fields . Click + Add catalog field and select Digital file . Click the Digital file dropdown and select the 'Digital asset' field you want to use. Tip: Select + Add field if you need to add a new 'Digital asset' field. Click Set Fields . FAQs Click below to learn more about the 'Digital asset' field type. What file types and sizes are supported for digital assets? Digital asset files follow Wix media upload rules. Check the supported file types and file size limits in Wix Media: Supported Media File Types and File Sizes . Tip: If you want to deliver multiple files in one purchase, combine them into a single file before uploading. What are the main limitations of the Digital asset field? The 'Digital asset' field has a few important limitations to keep in mind: It does not connect directly to page elements. You can map only 1 'Digital asset' field as the digital file for sale in each catalog collection. You cannot create default values for the 'Digital asset' field type. Can I delete a 'Digital asset' field? You can delete a 'Digital asset' field if it isn't mapped as the digital file for sale. If it is mapped, the Delete option is unavailable. To delete it, first go to More Actions > Edit catalog fields and map a different field as the digital file for sale, or remove the mapping. Then you can delete the field. Can I change a 'Digital asset' field to another field type later? No, it is not possible to change a digital asset field to another type of field. What kinds of items can I sell with a 'Digital asset' field? You can use the field for items like eBooks, guides, templates, music files, software files, artwork downloads, or bundled files in an archive format. The exact file types and sizes depend on Wix media upload support . How is the 'Digital asset' field different from a 'Document' field? A 'Document' field is used to store a file as part of regular CMS content. A 'Digital asset' field is used to store a file that is meant to be delivered after purchase. Use a 'Document' field when you want to connect or manage a normal file as part of your content. Use a 'Digital asset' field when you want to sell a secured file from a catalog collection. Why can’t I see the push notification action in the 'Remind participants to complete steps' automation? With shared collections, your enterprise gains a cohesive experience, streamlined data handling, and an elevated digital presence. For example, picture your enterprise collaborating with numerous partners, each showcasing your products on their websites. Converting your catalog into a shared collection lets you connect elements across these sites to the same collection. This ensures that updates you make as the CMS manager instantly affect all these websites, guaranteeing consistent, current content that reinforces your brand's credibility. Another example use case is to visualize your enterprise's lineup of marketing pages, each featuring lead generation forms. Embracing shared collections consolidates data from various sites into a central hub. This empowers you to efficiently manage and analyze leads, optimizing your marketing strategy. The payoff is a focused and impactful outreach, fueling your enterprise's expansion. Dive in to revolutionize content management across your enterprise sites and templates. Learn more about Wix Studio for enterprise or contact our sales team . Sharing CMS collections with other sites or templates CMS collections in the Wix Studio enterprise solution are managed at the account level and are not tied to any single site. Account owners, Co-owners, and teammates with enterprise dashboard permissions for "Manage Organization CMS" can share these collections to make them available across multiple sites or templates. On the destination sites, shared collections are read-only . This means site or template designers can bind the data to elements like repeaters and dynamic pages to display it, but they cannot edit the collection or add new items. When sharing, you can choose to only share certain collection items across the other sites or templates. To share a CMS collection with another site or template: Go to CMS in your enterprise dashboard. Click the collection you want to share. Click Share With Sites at the top. Click Sites or Templates at the top to choose which type to share the collection with. Enable the Share collection toggle next to the relevant site or template. (If necessary) Click Share in the popup message. (Optional) Click the All items shared drop-down next to the toggle to deselect any items you do not want to share, then click Close . (Optional) Repeat steps 5-8 to share with more sites or templates. Click Done . Working with Wix App Collections in Your Code You reference the collections that Wix Apps add to your site similar to how you reference collections you create yourself, with one difference. To reference a collection in your code that you created yourself, you just use the collection name in the code. For example, this code retrieves an item with an ID of 00001 from the collection named myCollection: wixData.get("myCollection", "00001"); To reference a collection that a Wix App added to your site you need to also include the App name in the path of the collection name. For example, let's say you also want to retrieve an item with an ID of 00001, but this time from the PrivateMembersData collection inside the Members database. In this case, you need to include Members in the path for the collection name, like this: wixData.get("Members/PrivateMembersData", "00001"); You can also use Wix Data to add and update information in some Wix App collections. For example: let collectionToInsert = { title: "New Collection", }; wixData.insert("Portfolio/Collections", collectionToInsert).then((item) => { console.log(item); }); FAQs Click below for answers to frequently asked questions about shared collections. How do I set collection permissions? In your Wix Studio for enterprise account, the Organization CMS Manager role replaces the Admin role used in other account types. Only the Organization CMS Manager can manage permissions for each collection in the Enterprise dashboard. To set permissions and privacy for a collection: Go to CMS in your enterprise dashboard. Click the More Actions icon on the relevant collection. Select Permissions & privacy . Choose which permissions you want the collection to have: Show content: Allow everyone or only site members to view the collection content on your live site. Admins and collaborators with CMS access always have full access to view, add, update, or delete collection items. Collect content: Allow everyone or only site members to add new items to the collection from your live site with input elements or API. Also, specify who can view the content. Admins and collaborators with CMS access always have full access to view, add, update, or delete collection items. Advanced: Set custom permissions for each user role to control who can view, add, update, or delete collection content. Admins and collaborators with CMS access have full access. However, you can set permissions for specific collaborator roles to restrict their access to the collection. Click Save . Note: Even if 'Collect content' or 'Show content' permissions usually allow writing, shared collections are always read-only on destination sites. Site visitors cannot submit data to these collections. Learn more about CMS collection permissions . Can I share collections with multiple sites simultaneously? Yes, you can conveniently bulk share with multiple sites. When choosing sites or templates to share with, you can either filter by folder or use the search tool. Click the checkmarks to select the relevant sites, then click Set share status and select Share with sites . Note: If you share a collection that contains a reference field, the referenced collection is also shared. Can I exclude specific items from sharing with certain sites? Absolutely. By default, when you share a collection with a site or template, all items are shared. However, after enabling the Share collection toggle, you can click All items shared to deselect the items you do not want to share. If you share a collection that contains a reference field, the referenced collection is also shared. Are newly added items shared automatically? Yes, by default new items added to a shared collection are automatically shared. If you wish to exclude an item from sharing, you need to actively exclude it. If you're editing an item but don't want it to appear on sites yet, you can set it to "draft" mode. This allows the item to be seen in the collection but not displayed on the sites. What happens if I delete a shared collection? Deleting a collection results in its removal from all sites and templates. Any page elements that were connected to the collection are disconnected. What happens if I stop sharing a collection with sites and templates? If you stop sharing a collection with sites or templates, any page elements that were connected to the collection are disconnected. How will shared collections impact site owners and CMS collaborators? Site owners and CMS collaborators will notice an indicator labeling the collection as a shared collection. They won't be able to edit content or data structure (schema) from the collection directly. Destination sites have read access only —they cannot write to, update, or delete items in shared collections, even via API. What does it mean to share a collection with a template? Shared collections apply similarly to custom templates as they do to regular sites. Sharing a collection with a template allows the template designer to connect elements within the template to the shared collection. When sites are generated from this template, they also receive the shared collection, with elements connected to it. Note: If you share a collection that contains a reference field, the referenced collection is also shared. Can I duplicate collections in the Wix Studio for enterprise solution? Yes. You can duplicate account-based CMS collections that are not tied to any particular sites in the enterprise dashboard. These collections remain independent and can be reused across multiple sites or templates. However, you cannot duplicate shared collections within individual sites. Tip : To determine whether a collection is shared or account-based, navigate to the enterprise dashboard and review the collection’s details under its settings. How do quotas apply to shared collections? Shared collections utilize the destination site's quotas for RPM (Requests Per Minute) and request timeout budgets. - Wix Harmony Editor: Adjusting Your Site for Mobile | Wix Expert
< Back Using the Wix Harmony Editor Getting started with the editor Wix Harmony Editor: Adjusting Your Site for Mobile With so many visitors browsing on their phones, your site’s mobile look matters more than ever. In the Wix Harmony Editor, the hard part is handled for you — your design on desktop is automatically adjusted to fit all screens. Access the mobile view to see how your site looks on your visitors' phones. You have the freedom to adjust the design to create the best experience possible, no matter the device. Ready to get started? Click the Mobile icon in the top right corner of the page. The connection between desktop and mobile When you build your site, you create your layout and style on desktop first. Changes at the desktop level automatically flow down to mobile and other screens, keeping everything in sync. This means you only need to design once, and your site is ready for phones, tablets, and computers right away. Want your site to look just right on mobile? You can fine-tune it by changing the size, color, or placement of elements, without affecting the desktop version at all. Keep in mind: Some actions, like moving elements between sections or containers, are disabled on the mobile view. This is to help keep your site tidy and easy to manage across all devices. If you want to make those bigger moves, switch back to desktop and keep building with confidence. Adding mobile-only elements Make your site's mobile experience truly unique by adding mobile-only elements. Once you switch to the mobile view, anything you add from the Add Elements panel is a mobile-only element. As these elements don't appear on your desktop site, you can design them and adjust their layout as you wish. This is especially handy when you want to replace desktop elements that are less suitable for smaller screens. Did you know? In the Layers panel, you can see an icon next to mobile-only elements. Hiding elements from mobile You can always hide elements from desktop that you prefer not showing on mobile. Switch to the mobile view and open the Layers panel. Then, click the More Actions icon next to an element or section and select Hide so it only appears on desktop. Still in the Layers panel, click Hidden on mobile at the top to see the full list of hidden elements. If you ever change your mind about an element, click the Show on mo bile icon t o make it visible again. Previewing your mobile site As you're making adjustments, it's important to make sure the design looks good before going live. Click Preview at the top right of the editor. Then, drag the slider at the top to make the screen smaller and see your design adjusting live - not just for mobile bu t for tablets as well. Once you publish, scan the QR code that appears in the editor to see your site directly on your device. FAQs Click a question bel ow to learn more. Why can't I drag elements between containers on mobile? For best results, moving elements to a new section, box, or grid cell is only possible in desktop view. This keeps your mobile design clean, organized, and responsive on every device. On mobile, you can rearrange elements inside their current container and it won't affect their order on desktop. However, but to move them elsewhere, switch to desktop. Tip: The term 'Container' refers to sections, boxes, or grid cells where your elements live. Why did some elements move from my header into the hamburger menu on mobile? To give your visitors the best experience on mobile, we keep your header clean by moving most elements into the hamburger menu. Only your cart icon and logo stay visible up top, so everything remains clear and easy to find — even on small screens. This is part of how the Wix Harmony Editor makes your site automatically responsive. If you want an element to appear on the header instead, you can cut it from the menu and paste it back onto the header whenever you like. Why does my text wrap differently on mobile even though I didn’t change it? The text was automatically optimized for mobile, so it might look different compared to desktop. However, you can always edit the text without it affecting the desktop view. Drag the side handles to change the width of the text box, and use the options on the action bar (e.g. font size, color, etc.) Some elements look too small on mobile, what can I do? These elements were automatically optimized for mobile, so they might look a little smaller than expected. You can always resize these elements without affecting the desktop version – drag the side handles to make them bigger.
