- Wix Payments: About Chargeback Fees | Wix Expert
< Back Managing your business Accepting payments on your site Wix Payments: About Chargeback Fees From July 5, 2023, a chargeback fee will be applied to your Wix Payments account if you get a chargeback. Wix incurs fees from payment service providers in the event of a chargeback. Therefore, we are making this change to reflect these fees and to match current industry standards. There is no change in the experience for your customers. When a payment is labeled as a Chargeback in your Wix Payments account, it means the funds were returned to your customer. A customer generally requests a chargeback when they don't recognize the payment, or when the goods/services were defective, not as described, or not delivered at all. Any chargeback requires an investment of time and resources from the parties involved (Wix, banks, card schemes, etc.) and, as such, if you receive a chargeback, you incur a chargeback fee. If you receive a chargeback that you believe to be unfair, you can file a dispute or, if you believe the chargeback to be justified, you can accept the claim. If you win the chargeback dispute, the chargeback fee will be returned to you along with the funds in dispute. Chargebacks are a part of doing business. In many cases, however, chargebacks can be prevented before they happen. In this article, learn about: Chargeback fees by region Filing a chargeback dispute Preventing chargebacks Chargeback fee amounts by region Depending on where your business is located, chargeback fees can vary. Regional chargeback fees are broken down by the appropriate currency as follows: Canada : 15.00 CAD European Union :15.00 EUR Switzerland : 15.00 CHF United Kingdom : 15.00 GBP United States : 15.00 USD Chargebacks fees do not currently apply for Wix Payments Brazil. Disputing a chargeback If you believe a chargeback to be unjustified, we recommend you dispute it. A win will improve your chargeback ratio and you can recover the value of the payment, as well the chargeback fee. To file a chargeback dispute: Go to Payments in your site's dashboard. Click the relevant payment to see its details. Click Dispute Chargeback under the chargeback's details. Select the product or service type of this transaction: Physical product: Physical products delivered, as described, to your customer. Digital Product: Digital files sent to your customer. Service: Any service provided to a customer, either online (e.g. website design) or offline (e.g. yoga classes). Event ticket : Tickets for events such as performances or conferences. Other : A product or service that doesn't fall within any of the other categories. Begin building your case by submitting: A cover letter explaining your case. Relevant evidence to verify your case. When ready, click Preview & Submit Dispute at the bottom. Tip : You can click Save Draft if you’d prefer to complete the form later. Preventing chargebacks It’s best to try and prevent a chargeback rather than deal with it once it happens. There are best practices you can follow to help lower your risk of receiving chargebacks, as well as to handle any chargebacks you receive more effectively. Among the most effective measures, you can: Make sure your product info is accurate: Your customers are less likely to dispute a purchase if they receive exactly what they order. Write product descriptions that are correct and add images that realistically depict what you’re selling. Add clear policies to your eCommerce website: Make it easier on customers to find your shipping, refund and cancellation policies , so they know, in advance, how you handle these issues. Respond to refund requests swiftly: Offering refunds to customers is a best practice and lessens the chance of chargebacks. Let your customers easily get in touch: Chargebacks can sometimes be a result of poor communication, so make it easy to find your contact details by displaying them clearly across your site. Try to respond to customer concerns quickly, and keep your customers updated about shipping, delivery, or any changes to your store policies. Learn more about preventing chargebacks . < Back Connecting a domain Transferring domains Transferring a .co.uk or .uk Domain Away from Wix Wix domains with a .co.uk or .uk suffix require a change of the IPS tag name in order to transfer them away from Wix. How long should I keep multiple campaigns running if I am comparing them for performance? You should give campaigns at least two weeks in order to see any potential patterns and identify what is working and where you can adjust. - Wix Harmony Editor: What's New with Repeaters | Wix Expert
< Back Using the Wix Harmony Editor Using the editor tools Wix Harmony Editor: What's New with Repeaters Important: We're working on releasing CMS in Wix Harmony, which is not yet available in all Wix accounts. Use a repeater to show your CMS (Content Management System) collection on your site. Add one to any page, connect it to a collection, and every item appears in the design you build — portfolios, menus, testimonials, and more. If you've used repeaters in the Wix Editor or Studio Editor, they play a bigger role in Wix Harmony, and you connect them in a different way. Repeaters are your connection to the CMS On the pages of your site, you show your collection content with a repeater. Connect the text, images, and buttons inside your repeater to the fields in your collection, and each item appears with its own content. This replaces the dataset flow from the Wix Editor and Studio Editor. There are no datasets in Wix Harmony — your repeater connects directly to your collection. Learn more about what's new with the CMS in Wix Harmony . Item pages work a little differently. An item page shows one item at a time, so it doesn't need a repeater — you connect the text, images, and buttons wherever you place them on the page. You still manage every connection from the same Manage Items panel. Connect a collection before you design A new repeater arrives with placeholder content until you connect it to a collection. Then, you design the layout with your own content already on the page and manage the connections in the Manage Items panel. Here's how connecting works: Choose your collection: Click Connect Collection on your repeater, then select one of your collections. Don't have one yet? Create a new collection from the content already in your repeater. Your elements connect for you: Wix Harmony matches the text, images, and buttons in your repeater to the fields in your collection. You can change any connection afterwards. Swap collections anytime: Click Replace next to your collection's name to show a different collection in the same repeater. The label above an element shows whether it's connected. Blue means the element is static and stays the same for every item, pink means it shows your collection content. Learn more about adding and setting up repeaters . Manage your items and fields in one panel Click Manage Items on your repeater to open the panel that takes the place of the dataset. You work across two tabs there: Items tab: Choose which items appear and in what order. Filter your list, sort it by a text, number, boolean, or URL field, and add or edit your items without leaving your editor. Fields tab: Choose what each element shows. Drag a field onto an element to connect it, see which fields are already in use, and add a new field to your collection. Learn more about filtering and sorting items in repeaters . Note: You set how many items load at a time in your repeater's Settings , not in the Manage Items panel. Tip: Different views of the same collection: To show groups like "Featured" or "Latest", add a repeater for each group and give each its own filter. Give every item its own page To let visitors view an item in detail, set a button or image inside your repeater to Open item page . Wix Harmony creates an item page for every item in your collection, all sharing one layout. Learn more about item pages in Wix Harmony . You control who can change your content Your repeater shows your collection content to visitors, and you stay in control of the content itself. You and your collaborators manage items from the Manage Items panel in your editor or the CMS tab in your site's dashboard. Visitors can't add, update, or delete the collection content from your live site. Go to your collection settings to manage who can view the content on your live site. Learn more about choosing who can view your collection's content . FAQs Click a question below to learn more about repeaters in Wix Harmony. Can I connect one repeater to more than one collection? Each repeater connects to one collection at a time. To show content from different collections, add a repeater for each one. Can I use a repeater without connecting it to a collection? No. Your repeater arrives with placeholder content, and you connect it to a collection before you can edit it. If you don't have a collection yet, create one from the content already in your repeater when you click Connect Collection . Can I add a repeater to an item page? Yes. Your item page shows one item at a time without a repeater, but you can add a repeater to it and connect it to a collection. Use it to show related items, or to give visitors a list they can click to open another item's page. To point visitors to an item's page, set a button or image inside your repeater to Open item page . You can also link elements elsewhere on your site, like your menu, to specific item pages. Which elements inside a repeater can show collection content? Text, images, and buttons inside your repeater can connect to your collection's fields. Other elements you add to the repeater stay static, appearing the same for every item. This article is credited to the Wix team - https://support.wix.com/ Previous Next Need An AI Run Website?
