Google Ads with Wix: Creating and Managing Your Campaign

Google Ads with Wix allows you to create and manage Google Ads campaigns directly from your site's dashboard. By guiding you through setup and best practices, you can launch targeted ads to reach new customers, boost product sales, and grow your business online.

For Wix sites in Brazil:

Due to a technical limitation, it is currently not possible to create Google Ads campaigns unless you have created one before. If you have existing campaigns, they will continue to run and your access is unchanged.

Creating a campaign

Create a Google Ads with Wix campaign by following a step-by-step process on your site's dashboard. Throughout the process, you'll find tips on creating the best converting ad content.

After you launch your ad campaign, all the data is automatically synced to Google Ads in your Wix site's dashboard. It also syncs with Wix Analytics Marketing reports and Marketing Overview so you can see all your paid and organic marketing efforts in one place.

Each month, you'll be charged for the clicks your campaign got in the previous month. Your campaign might spend less than your daily average in some days, and up to twice your average on other days. But each month it won't spend more than your daily average times 30.4 (average number of days in a month).

Running multiple Google Ads with Wix campaigns allows you to:

  • Test different ad content simultaneously: Try different headlines and description text in multiple campaigns to test content and see what drives the best results for your business.

  • Promote a specific sale or service: Create one Google Ads with Wix campaign to generate more site traffic overall, and use another campaign to promote a specific sale or offering happening that month.

  • Manage one subscription and budget for all campaigns: You don't have to worry about paying multiple subscriptions for each campaign. You pay one subscription and choose your budget. Then you can allocate your budget across all campaigns.

You can create 1 live PMAX Sales campaign per site, and up to 5 live PMAX Leads campaigns at any given time.

Labels next to each campaign title show you the status of that campaign: Live, Paused, In Review, or Disapproved. Any live campaigns appear at the top of the list in chronological order.

You should give campaigns at least two weeks in order to see any potential patterns and identify what is working and where you can adjust. Start by checking in after seven days to see which campaign is driving more traffic. After that, if one is vastly underperforming, you can reassess.
