< Back Need more help? Solving performance and technical issues Unable to Click Element on Live Site If you're unable to click on an element that should be clickable in your live site (e.g., a link, a button, an interactive element), it's most likely covered by another element or page section. When the overlapping elements are opaque it's easier to identify the issue; In some cases, it could be a transparent part of another element that's covering your element. To resolve this issue: Step 1 | Search for Overlapping Elements Go to the relevant page in your Editor. Right-click an element to see if there is any overlap: Click on Arrange and Bring to Front . Step 2 | Check the Footer If you didn't find an overlapping elements in step 1, it might be a frozen footer that's covering your element. Freezing a footer means that it's always visible as visitors scroll up and down the page. Click the footer in your Editor. Click the Settings icon . Check the Freeze Footer toggle: Enabled: You can either disable this option or resize the footer so that it doesn't overlap with your element. Disabled: Try resizing the footer so that it doesn't overlap with your element. This article is credited to the Wix team - https://support.wix.com/ and we thank them for that! - Wix Blog: Managing Languages in Your Blog | Wix Expert
< Back Managing your business Building your community Wix Blog: Managing Languages in Your Blog Manage multiple languages in your blog to reach a broader audience and engage readers from different regions. For example, if you run a travel blog, offering content in several languages allows you to connect with people globally, making your blog more inclusive and accessible. For languages like Arabic or Hebrew, using right-to-left alignment enhances readability and creates a more seamless experience for readers. Changing the language of your blog Wix Blog supports 28 different languages. You can change your site's language to change all of the default blog text that your visitors see (such as the text that appears on buttons). What languages are available? Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese (Traditional), Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, and Turkish. To change the language: Go to Settings in your site's dashboard. Click Language and Region . Click the Site language drop-down to select the language for your site. Click Save . Writing blog posts with right-to-left alignment You can write posts in languages that require right alignment. Wix currently supports two right-to-left languages, Hebrew or Arabic. Writing posts with right-to-left alignment: Go to Settings in your site's dashboard. Click Language and Region . Click the Site language drop-down and select Arabic or Hebrew. Go to Blog in your site's dashboard. Click + Create New Post or click an existing post. FAQs Click a question below to find out more information. Can I display my blog in more than 1 language? Yes. - Wix Stores: About Product Options and Modifiers | Wix Expert
< Back Managing your business Business solutions & apps Wix Stores: About Product Options and Modifiers Important: We're in the process of releasing a brand-new product creation page. If the first field you see is Images and videos , you have the previous version and should follow these instructions on adding product options . Let customers customize their purchases with Product Options or Modifiers . While these look similar to customers, they work differently behind the scenes. Knowing the difference helps you use them effectively. Let's start by looking at a sample product that has both. Video tutorial Watch the video tutorial or read the article for more details. What product options and modifiers look like In the Product page below, the Size drop-down is a product option while the other selections are all modifiers. Note that customers can't see the difference between drop-downs or color swatches that are product options or modifiers. You can create product options or modifiers with any of the following field types: Modifiers: Text choices, color swatches, or text boxes Product options: Text choices or color swatches Should I create product options or modifiers? To decide whether it's best to create product options, modifiers, or both, for a specific product, ask yourself the following questions: Do I need to track inventory? The first and most important question is, do you need to track inventory individually for this product variation? Let's look at an example. A merchant sells a ring and it comes in 2 sizes, small and large. They also offer free engraving. The merchant needs to stock separate inventory for the 2 ring sizes, so they'll create a product option called 'Size' with 2 variants, 'Small' and 'Large'. The engraving is an embellishment added to the same product - no separate inventory is required. As such, the merchant creates a modifier for this. Learn more about: Creating product options Creating product modifiers Is pricing for your variations the same? Let's take another look at the example we used above: The ring that comes in small and large sizes (sold at the same price) and with or without engraving. If this merchant decides to charge for engraving, they'd need to create 2 types of product options, one for size and one for engraving. This is because you cannot offer modifiers with varied pricing. In this example, you'd end up with 2 product options (size and engraving) and 4 variants, as in the image below. Note that the 'Yes' variants cost more than the 'No' variants. Additional considerations Certain information and calculations are available only with product options, not modifiers. For example, when you create a product, you can enter a product weight in the shipping and fulfillment section. The weight is applied to the product. If you want to enter separate weights for each variation, you need to create product options, where you can do so. The options listed below are available either per product or per variant, not per modifier. To use any of them, create product options: Pre-order Cost of goods Shipping weights SKU Barcode Price per unit FAQs Click below for answers to common questions about product options and modifiers. How many modifiers can I create per product? You can add up to 10 modifiers. How many product options can I create per product? Each product can include up to 6 product options (e.g. Size, Color, Style) with 100 choices per option (e.g. 100 sizes). How can I allow customers to send me a message about a product? You can add a modifier and select Text box as the field type. Customers will be able to type a reply. Tip: If the message applies to an entire order rather than a single product, you can add a custom field to the Checkout page . How can I connect images or videos to product options? Go to Products in your site's dashboard. Select a product with product options. In the Product Options section, click the Connect images and videos icon next to the relevant product option. How can I connect images or videos to a modifier? After you create and save a modifier, you can add images or videos to each one. To add media to a modifier: Go to Products in your site's dashboard. Click + New Product , or select an existing product. Scroll to the Modifiers section. Click the More Actions icon next to a modifier. Select Connect images & videos . Click the Plus icon next to the first choice. Select or upload an image and click Apply . Repeat these steps to add media to each modifier. Can I make changes to multiple modifiers at once? Yes. If, for instance, you added an engraving modifier to multiple products, but decide that you no longer offer engraving, you can delete this modifier. It will be removed from all products. You can also edit the modifier name. The change will apply to all relevant products. Do customers see the modifier name I enter? The modifier name you give with the drop-down or color swatch field type is displayed to customers. However, when you create a text box field type, you enter a separate modifier name which is for internal use. For customers, you can enter a longer text box title (up to 100 characters). This gives you the option of adding a short name for yourself, but a longer title that explains the option to customers. Are modifiers always required fields? You can set text choices, color swatches, and text box modifiers as either required or optional. When customers leave an optional modifier unanswered, they can still add the product to their cart. Note: As of October 2026, new modifiers are optional by default, and modifiers you created before this update keep their current setting. Can I add custom fields to the Checkout page instead of adding them to products? If the same custom fields apply to all products, you can add them to the Checkout page, like asking customers to indicate whether the order is a gift. You can also add conditional form field. For example, if the customer selected 'Yes, this is a gift', you can then display an additional question that doesn't appear when customers select 'No'. Learn how to: Add a custom field to the Checkout page Add a conditional rule to the Checkout page I'm editing product option variants. Why don't I see some of the settings? There are many available settings. Use the Customize column feature to set which ones are visible, and then use the horizontal scrollbar to access them all. You can save your most commonly used selection as your default view along with additional views. To customize the product option variants columns: Select a product and click Edit Variants . Click the Customize icon . Select the checkboxes next to the columns you want to display and close the window. Click Apply & Continue . (Optional) Save your selections: Click Manage View . Select an option: Set as default view: Your selects are applied to all products. Save as new view: Give this view a name and save it to quickly apply the selections in future. I use my product options to display filters on my live site. How can I organize them? You can make filtering simpler for customers by grouping similar option choices together. For example, instead of showing each shade as a separate filter, you can combine them into a single filter for each color. You can also chose how you want to sort the filter options, including the ability to manual reorder them into an order that makes sense for your site. Each version will get its own URL and regional formats (e.g., metric vs. imperial systems). Click + Add Language . Click the Language drop-down and select the language you want to add. Click the Flag drop-down and select a flag to represent the language. Enable the Locale setting toggle. Click the Locale drop-down and select the locale (Only available for manual translation ). (If available) Click the Make site in {language} visible right away drop-down and choose an option: No, keep it hidden for now: Keep the new language version hidden from your live site for now. Click Add Language . Set a default visitor language The default visitor language is the first language visitors see on your site, which may differ from the site's original language. Visitors can switch to other languages at any time. Having control over the default language allows you to tailor the user experience for your site visitors, especially if a specific language is more relevant to your audience or your business. For example, if your main business language is English but most of your site visitors speak Spanish, you could ensure their default view is in Spanish to create a more welcoming and engaging experience. Click the More Actions icon next to the relevant language. Select Set as default visitor language . Click Set as default . Show or hide a language on your site Any time you add a secondary language, it is hidden by default. When you finish translating that language and are happy with how it looks, unhide it to show it to the world. Click the Status drop-down next to the relevant language and select an option: Visible: The language is accessible to site visitors and appears in the language menu . Hidden: The language is not accessible to site visitors (even with a direct link) and does not appear in the language menu. Click the More Actions icon next to the language you want to delete. Select Delete language . Click Delete to confirm. Import or export translations Export and import your site content for manual translation . By downloading a CSV file, you can send your content to a professional translator. Once the translations are ready, import the translated content back to your site. Change your site's main language Changing the main language is designed for situations where you chose the wrong original language when you first set up Wix Multilingual, or your business has switched to a different primary language. Before you change your main language, keep the following in mind: Changing your main language does not translate your existing content. Your pages, menus, and app content stay in the languages you already set. If you only want visitors to see a different language first, set a default visitor language instead of changing the main language, or enable the auto-switch language toggle to automatically redirect visitors to the language version of your site that matches their browser's language. You cannot change your main language to a language that is already set as a secondary language. To use that language as your main language, delete it from your languages list first, then set it as the main language. Existing content and translations are not updated or moved to the new main language. You may need to review your content and translations after making the change. To change your site's main language: Click the More Actions icon next to Original language . Select Change original language . Select the language and the flag and click Change original language . FAQs Click a question below to learn more about managing your site languages: Is my language menu still visible if I hide all my secondary languages? If you set all secondary languages to "Hidden", the language menu does not appear on your live site. My languages are set to visible, but the language menu is missing from my site. What happened? There are a few reasons why your language menu may be missing from your live site or editor. Read our Troubleshooting Guide to learn some common reasons why a language menu may be missing, and the way to solve each possible issue. Can I change my site's main language? Currently, it is not possible to change your site's main language to a different language. If this is a feature you'd like to use, vote for it here . Workarounds: Delete Wix Multilingual and re-add it. This allows you to start from the beginning and choose a new main language. We recommend duplicating your site before deleting Wix Multilingual. This will help you later on when you re-add Wix Multilingual. You can refer to the duplicate for your previous translations and site design/layout. Note: When you delete Wix Multilingual and re-add it, your purchased word credits will not be restored, and you may need to purchase more word credits to automatically translate your site . You can enable the Auto-switch language toggle , and automatically redirect visitors to the language version of your site that matches their browser's language. How do I handle automations for multilingual websites? To make sure your automations work for every language on your site, create a separate automation for each language you support. Use dynamic values and set up your email templates in the right language for each group. Double-check that the trigger for each automation (like a form submission) is connected to the correct version of your page or form. Where does the time zone for automated actions come from? Automated actions, such as scheduled emails or reminders, use the time zone set in your site's regional settings . If times seem off, check your site’s regional settings to make sure the right time zone is selected. What should I do if my automated emails are sent in the wrong language? Automated emails usually follow either your site’s default language or the recipient’s language preferences.
