Dayful by WixDayful by Wix: Creating Your Services < Back Dayful by Wix Dayful by Wix: Creating Your Services When using Dayful by Wix, you can offer three types of booking services: Appointments, classes and courses. Use our templates to get your services up and running quickly, or create your own services from scratch. You can then share these services online using links or by embedding widgets on your website. Important: Connect a payment method and upgrade your plan to accept payments through your site. With a free plan, you can add one staff member and create one service. To create your first service: Go to the Services tab in your Dayful dashboard. Select a template or click + Start from Scratch under the relevant service type:Appointment: A 1-on-1 session that clients book depending on availability. Class: A group session that clients book to join at any time. Course: A multi-session service that starts and ends on specific dates. Enter the Service Name . (Optional) Add more information about the service:Click Add Image to showcase the service. Enter a Tagline to provide more information about the service. Enter a Description to provide more details about the service so clients know what to expect. Choose the relevant place for your service under Location :Business address: Choose this option for services where clients come to you. Client's place: Choose this option for services where you meet clients at their home. Custom location: Choose this option for services with varying locations. Click Price type the drop-down and choose from the following options:Fixed price: Set a standard price for the service. Varied Prices: Set a default amount. Click Manage Price Options . Price options label: Enter the pricing criteria, for example "Participant age" or "Service type" Enter the different pricing options in the fields provided. (Optional) Click + Add New Price Option to add more options. Click Save . No fee: You don't display a price on your site. This is useful for services where you negotiate with the client based on their needs. Custom Price: Enter a description of how you charge for services with varying prices, in the Price Description field. For example, "Starting from $50." Clients cannot pay online when they book custom price services. Choose when clients pay for the service under Payment Preferences from the following options:Entire amount online: Choose this option if you have a Dayful premium plan and want clients to pay online. Entire amount in person: Choose this option if you have a free Dayful plan. Entire amount either online or in person: Choose this option if you have a Dayful premium plan and want to offer your clients flexible payment options. Selling event tickets at a POS From the Wix app, select the event ticket that your guest wants to purchase, then accept payment using your mobile device. Before you begin: Make sure you set up your mobile device as a point of sale . To sell event tickets: Go to your site in the Wix app . Tap the Events shortcut. Select the relevant event. Swipe left under Recommended Actions and tap Sell Tickets . Tap the Add icon(s) to select the ticket(s) you want to add to the order. Tap Next . Viewing and managing existing proposals With the Wix app, managing your proposals is straightforward. You can preview a proposal, and check the client's contact information if you need to follow up. You can also copy a link to the proposal, send it again, as well as change its status. To view and manage your existing proposals: Go to the Wix app on your mobile device. Tap Manage at the bottom. Tap Proposals under Getting Paid . Select an existing proposal. Step 1 | Add tax locations Start by adding the first location where you need to collect taxes. If needed, you can add additional locations. To add tax locations: Go to Tax in your site's dashboard. We're glad to have you on board. You can import your products using our Wix CSV template file to get your store up and running. Before you begin: To migrate products from a store built on another eCommerce platform, first go to that platform and export your product data. Then, go to step 1 below. To migrate from another Wix store, go to the site and export your products . Then, skip to step 2 below (Adding your products) to import the products to your new store. To learn how to export and import products from the same store, click here . Step 1 | Download the Wix CSV Template File Download the Wix CSV template file and save it on your computer. This file comes with 3 sample products, 2 of which have product variants. These are examples to help you understand how to add your products to the file. To download the Wix CSV template file: Go to the Store Products tab in your site's dashboard. Click More Actions . Click Import . Click Download CSV File. Choose an option:Blank Wix CSV template: Import products from another store. Wix CSV with your products: Update existing products. Learn more Open the CSV file. Note: Mac users should open the file with Numbers or Excel version 15 or higher. Save the downloaded file in CSV (Comma delimited) format. Your file from another platform may have fields not found in the Wix CSV Template file. Do not add them. Delete the rows of sample data. Note: You can also leave the sample data and delete the sample products after the import. Save the file in a CSV format. Once all the data has been entered, you can go back to the Store Products tab and upload the file. Uploading the CSV file Go to the Store Products tab in your site's dashboard. Click More Actions . Click Import . Click Upload CSV File . Upload the updated file you saved and click Continue . Read the import review and check for error messages. Do one of the following:No products with errors: Click Import Products to complete the process. Products with errors: If you have products with errors, you can either correct the errors and import again (see instructions below) or import your products as is. If you go ahead and import without fixing errors, only products without errors are imported. Note: If you decide to import without correcting the errors, first click View Errors so that you know which products or variants are not imported. Important: Product images may take up to one hour to upload if you have many products. You can continue to make changes in your store while the images upload in the background. Tip: To view your imported products, go to the Store Products tab in your site's dashboard and select Last imported from the Filter by by drop-down. Dealing with Errors If any of the rows in the file contain a critical error, it is displayed in the Import review. To handle errors & upload a corrected file: Click View Errors .
