Access multiple workspaces Wix Studio has a brand new workspace with everything you need to create and manage hundreds of sites, different teams, multiple premium subscriptions, and more. You can belong to multiple workspaces using the same account email address, and switch between them easily. For example, if you have your own business but are also working for another agency, you can have one workspace where you manage your business sites, and also belong to the agency's workspace. You can access the sites in each workspace from the Sites page. Find a specific site using advanced filters such as Editor type, Premium plans and publish status. You can also view and manage all of your workspace subscriptions in one place. Any subscriptions that need your urgent attention will be highlighted at the top for your convenience. Your workspace is also filled with useful information to help you grow your business. From the Discover page you can stay ahead of the curve with access to new releases, product updates, exciting product betas, and an insightful roadmap for all upcoming Wix features. Learn more: Using workspaces in Wix Studio Manage your team in one place Wix Studio offers a collaborative environment designed to support your entire workflow. Invite your teammates to join your workspace, enabling seamless teamwork on your projects. As a team owner, you have the flexibility to customize roles and permissions for each teammate within the workspace and for specific sites. This personalized approach ensures that every teammate gets a tailored experience according to their expertise, and can focus on their specific tasks. For example, you might want to give a website designer in your team permission to access the Studio Editor of every site in the workspace so that they can create and update them, and give a marketing expert permission to access only the dashboard of certain sites that you are promoting for clients. Learn more: Managing your team in Wix Studio. Collaborate with others When working on sites, you can work with your teammates, or collaborate with external people such as freelancers and clients. Choose the role and permissions for each collaborator, so that they can only perform actions according to their expertise. If there's several people working on a site in the Studio Editor at the same time, they can create together on the canvas in real-time with concurrent editing . For example, a designer, writer and developer can all be working on a site together and see each other’s changes instantly. Anyone working on a site can leave comments on the canvas, tag others, and attach comments to specific elements for context. This means teams don’t need to leave the canvas to share feedback or ideas and the comments are in context, making communication more efficient. It's also a great way for your clients to give you feedback on their site so you can track and resolve any issues they raise. You can also create design libraries including typography themes, color palettes and design assets that can be used by your team. This keeps your team's projects consistent and saves your teammates valuable time. Working with clients? Set specific permissions for your clients to define what they can and can't do on their site. If you want, you can prevent your clients from touching the design of their site at all, or give them access only to the Content Mode . Get creative with the Studio Editor Unleash your creativity with our new Wix Studio Editor , designed to let you build captivating sites intuitively. Our new creation flows revolutionize the way you create sites, making the process easier and more efficient than ever before. Enjoy the familiarity of building on a visual canvas with smooth drag and drop, and let the out-of-the-box tools deal with more complex design logic. As with any new platform, there will be a short learning curve, so we recommend that you check out Wix Studio Academy to get started, but we'll provide you with everything you need to onboard and become an expert. The Studio Editor is a reliable and stable tool, ensuring seamless live site performance that allows you to create beautiful websites with confidence. Below are some of the new features: AI features Our Studio Editor uses responsive AI, patented technology that adds responsiveness to any page or section in the click of a button. The AI tool analyzes and places a responsive structure on the design, allowing faster and more efficient site creation. Use the AI Text Creator , a customized version of the GPT model by OpenAI, to generate text for your site when you need to work fast or require creative inspiration. You can also turn your text prompts into an image in seconds with our AI image generator. Add more functionality to the sites you build with the help of the Wix AI Assistant . It can generate code, give instructions on how to use the code correctly, and help with resolving errors. Discover even more AI tools to auto-enhance images, remove image backgrounds, auto-generate trailers and recommend products. We have many more in the works - keep an eye out for what's coming your way. Interactions & effects Take complete control over element movements, allowing you to bring your site to life with smooth transitions and captivating animations . Stand out with custom cursors , choosing from a range of styles or uploading your own, to create a unique user experience. Make a statement with text masking , shaping your text into visually striking forms. Layout tools Create intricate layouts more intuitively with our responsive layout tools. Stack elements together to keep them in a vertical or horizontal order, and split sections into grid cells to lock your layout into place on all screens and devices. CSS control Add custom CSS code to create unique styles. Adding your own code also gives you more control over animations and responsive behaviors, so they behave according to your exact specifications. Seamless scaling and pixel editing The Studio Editor prioritizes proportional scaling by default. No matter how you resize or adjust an element, it maintains its incredible appearance. In addition to proportional scaling, there are other responsive behaviors to choose from – all of which take care of the way elements are automatically resized on different screens. With pixel editing, the resizing experience is easy and precise, ensuring control over every element. Design in pixels that represent the size on the current canvas ( px* ), and the chosen responsive behavior does the rest. Open platform capabilities When you code with Wix Studio, you are working in an open development platform that accelerates the way you build web applications. You can use APIs to add custom functionality and interactions. Code directly in Wix Studio's built-in Code panel , in a VS Code-based IDE , or with your favorite IDE and integrating with GitHub . Regardless of how you choose to code, you can enjoy serverless coding in both the frontend and backend, all in an open, extendable platform. To extend your site’s functionality and take full advantage of our open platform, you can: Style using CSS to customize the appearance of your elements' colors, fonts, sizes and positions. Install NPM packages , packages built by Wix , or create your own apps using Wix Blocks . Design an independent site or app that takes advantage of Wix Studio’s powerful infrastructure, tools, and capabilities in a headless environment. Create built-in database collections in the Wix CMS or connect your site to external database collections . Integrate with service providers to further expand your site’s functionality using SPIs and custom extensions . Use the Wix AI Code Assistant to capitalize on artificial intelligence for getting your code up and running quickly and efficiently. The assistant can help write, and even fix, your code. A set of developer tools is available to help you monitor, test, and debug the code on your site. - Changing the Canonical Tags for Your Site's Pages | Wix Expert
< Back Promoting your site SEO (get found on Google) Changing the Canonical Tags for Your Site's Pages Important: Changing your canonical tags can have an effect on how your site appears in search results. Before making any changes here, we recommend learning more about canonical URLs . Wix automatically creates a default canonical URL for all of your pages. You can change the canonical tag for a page in the Advanced SEO tab if you have multiple URLs that go to that page. The canonical tag tells search engines to index only this page and show it in search results for a given keyword or search phrase . Understanding canonical tags If you have different URLs that load the same page on your site, search engines choose one URL and consider it the primary one. This is the only URL that appears in search results. Other URLs are treated as duplicates and receive less attention from search engines. For example, you may have duplicate versions of a page if you apply tracking parameters to the end of a URL. The URLs below contain different parameters, but lead to the same page: https://www.mystunningwebsite.com/services https://www.mystunningwebsite.com/services?fb=1 https://www.mystunningwebsite.com/services?UTM_campaign=fallCampaign Changing the canonical tag for one of these pages lets search engines know that this is the page version they should index and show in search results. Tip: Canonical tags also help AI crawlers, such as those used by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, understand which URL is the primary version of your page. For more control over how AI tools understand and represent your site, you can view and edit your site's llms.txt file . Changing a custom canonical tag You can customize the default canonical tag of your page in the SEO Basics tab. This is the self-referencing canonical URL which we recommend not to change. Important: When you change the default canonical tag for a page, the page's URL may disappear from your sitemap. To restore the page URL to your sitemap, remove the canonical tag . To change a custom canonical tag: Wix Editor Go to your editor . Click Pages & Menu on the left side of the editor. Click the More Actions icon next to the relevant page. Click SEO basics . Click the Advanced SEO tab. Click Additional Tags . Click the More Actions icon next to canonical . Select Edit . Edit your tag under Tag Value . Click Apply . Studio Editor Go to your editor . Click Pages on the left side of the editor. Click the More Actions icon next to the relevant page. Click SEO Basics . Click the Advanced SEO tab. Click Additional Tags . Click the More Actions icon next to canonical . Select Edit . Edit your tag under Tag Value . Click Apply . Removing a canonical tag You can remove a custom canonical tag if you need to restore the original canonical tag. It automatically reverts back to the default setting that Wix applies to every page of your site. To remove a canonical tag: Wix Editor Go to your editor . Click Pages & Menu on the left side of the editor. Click the More Actions icon next to the relevant page. Click SEO basics . Click the Advanced SEO tab. Click Additional Tags . Click the More Actions icon next to canonical . Select Edit . Click Reset to Default . Click Apply . Studio Editor Go to your editor . Click Pages on the left side of the editor. - Wix Studio: Rules and Guidelines for Partners in the Wix Marketplace | Wix Expert
< Back Studio, Partners & Enterprise Wix Studio Wix Studio: Rules and Guidelines for Partners in the Wix Marketplace We're committed to providing Wix users with exceptional service and quality results when they submit a project request in the Wix Marketplace. To help achieve this, we've established a set of rules and guidelines that all Wix Partners must follow. These include standards for response times, project completion, communication, and more. By adhering to these rules and guidelines, Wix Partners can maintain a high level of performance and help ensure that every Wix user has a positive experience. Important: If you don't follow these guidelines, you may no longer be matched with new leads and your profile may be removed or permanently banned from the Marketplace, depending on the severity of the violation and other factors. Replying to projects requests When you receive project requests from Wix or potential clients, it's important to respond in a timely manner to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. You'll be notified of new project requests via email and in your Wix Studio workspace, so be sure to check both regularly. To continue receiving project requests from the Wix Marketplace, make sure to respond to all requests before they expire. Keep in mind that project requests expire after 4 days. Important: If you let 3 requests expire in a row, your profile is temporarily set as unavailable. If you let another 3 requests expire, your profile is suspended from the Marketplace for 30 days. If you let 3 requests expire for a third time, you will be removed from the Marketplace. You will be able to reapply after a year. Being unavailable for over 90 days Being a Wix Partner doesn't mean working around the clock. You can set yourself as unavailable to make sure you don't receive leads while you're away, and switch it back at any time when you're ready. Important: If you're unavailable for more than 90 days, your profile is suspended for 30 days. If you're unavailable for 90 days twice, your profile is removed from the Marketplace. You will be able to reapply after a year. Lack of completed projects The more projects you submit to Wix Marketplace, the more likely you are to generate leads. Submit at least 1 project every 6 months to keep getting automatically matched with leads and at least 1 project every year to maintain access to your Wix Marketplace account. You can also add the projects you complete to your agency profile. Important: You can submit the same URL up to 2 times in legitimate cases (for example, a redesign project and later an SEO project). After that, you won’t be able to submit the same URL again. If you do not complete a project within 6 months, Wix will not match you with any leads until you complete one. If you haven't completed any projects within a year, you will stop receiving leads and your profile will be removed from the Wix Marketplace. You will be able to reapply after a year. Marketplace disputes Disputes in the Wix Marketplace arise when Wix users report issues or concerns about their experience with a Partner. These issues can range from lack of response and missed deadlines to issues with quality or payment. As a Partner, it’s important to address open disputes and work towards resolving the issue as quickly as possible. If the issue isn’t resolved within a few days, you may no longer be matched with new leads and your profile may be removed temporarily or permanently from the Marketplace, depending on the severity of the complaint. Important: You’ll be notified about open disputes via email, so be sure to check your inbox regularly. This article is credited to the Wix team - https://support.wix.com/ and we thank them for that!
