Wix Pro Gallery: Customizing Video Settings
The Wix Pro Gallery is not just for images; you can also add videos to your pro gallery. You can customize the video settings to make them play on hover, play on loop, and change the play speed. You can also add a play button to your videos so that visitors can play them in their own time.
Customizing your video settings
Make the videos in your gallery behave exactly how you want by customizing their settings from the Advanced tab.
To customize your video settings:
Click the pro gallery element on your page.
Click Settings.
Click the Advanced tab.
Customize the following options:
Play Videos: Click the drop-down to choose how to play your videos: On hover, Autoplay or On click.
Play with sound: Click the toggle to enable or disable the sound on your video:
Enabled: Videos play with sound in the gallery view.
Disabled: Videos are muted in the gallery view.
Note: Your videos always play with sound in expand mode and full screen mode.
Playback speed: Click the drop-down to choose the playback speed.
Note: Your videos always play at their original speed in expand mode and full screen mode.
Loop videos: Click the toggle to change the video's loop settings:
Enabled: Videos play continuously in a loop.
Disabled: Videos only play once and stop playing after they end.
Show play button: Click the toggle to enable or disable a play button on your video(s):
Enabled: A play button is shown on your video.
Disabled: A play button is not shown on your video.

Note:
Setting your videos to autoplay and play in a loop will make only the first video in your gallery with these settings play continuously, and the rest of the videos will not play.
Autoplay policies for browsers supported by Wix
Wix currently supports 4 browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari for Mac and Microsoft Edge). The following are the most up-to-date autoplay policies which apply to all 4 browsers. Click an option to learn more:
Autoplay on desktops and laptops
Muted autoplay is always allowed.
Autoplay with sound is allowed if:
The site visitor has interacted with the domain (via click, tap, etc.).
On desktop, the site visitor's Media Engagement Index threshold has been crossed, meaning the visitor has previously played video with sound.
The visitor has added the site to their home screen on mobile or installed the PWA (progressive web app) on desktop.
Top frames can delegate autoplay permission to their iFrames to allow autoplay with sound.
The following browsers no longer support autoplay:
Safari 11 and older versions
Chrome 61 and older versions
Firefox 66 and older versions
Edge 92 and older versions
Note: To autoplay elements, your site visitors need to change the settings in their own browsers. Please refer to Safari, Chrome, Microsoft and Firefox support for more information.
Autoplay on mobile and tablet devices
You may find that your music and videos do not play automatically on iPhones, Androids and tablets. This is because Apple and Chrome block the autoplay function to prevent additional data charges from the visitor's cellphone network. No data is loaded until the user taps the play button on the audio or video player.
Autoplay functions are also disabled if the visitor has enabled low-power mode on their iOS device.
For more information, please see Apple's Safari Developer Library and Google's Developers guidelines.
Note: For mobile or tablet devices, we recommend setting your Play videos preference (Step 4) to On hover, or On click.
