Wix Pro Gallery: Adding Media to the Gallery

1. Select the image from your Media Manager or click + Upload Media to upload an image from your computer.

2. Click Add to Gallery.

3. Click Done.

Note: We recommend you upload the best possible quality images to your gallery to ensure the best results. Make sure to upload images of at least 2560 X 1440 pixels in resolution. We optimize them to the exact dimensions displayed on the screen, without any loss of quality. Learn more about image optimization.

1. Select a video option:

   • Upload: Upload your own video:

     1. Select the video in your Media Manager or click Upload Media to upload a video from your computer.

     2. Click Add to Gallery.

   • YouTube: Embed a video from YouTube:

     1. Enter the video's web address.

     2. Click Add Video.

        Note: When adding your own video from YouTube, make sure that your video is set to Public, and the Allow Embedding box is checked.

   • Vimeo: Embed a video from Vimeo:

     1. Enter the video's web address.

     2. Click Add Video.

        Note: When adding a video from Vimeo, make sure that your video privacy settings are set to Anyone can see the video, and the embed settings are set to Anywhere.

2. Click Done.

   

1. Double-click the "Add your message here" text and enter your text.

2. Format the text using the options available in the top bar.

3. Customize the text using the following options:

   • Layout: Choose a layout for the text: Square, Horizontal, Vertical or Custom.

   • Fill Color and Opacity: Drag the slider to change the opacity and select the color of the text.

   • Box Padding: Drag the slider to change the spacing between the text and the borders of the text box.

   • Vertical Alignment: Select an alignment for the text.

4. Click Add to Gallery.

5. Click Done.

   

To delete the default media that comes with the gallery, hover over the item you want to delete, click the More Actions icon

and click Remove.

If you have more than one video in your pro gallery, only one video autoplays at a time.

Yes. You can edit images added to your gallery using the Wix Photo Studio tools.

To edit an image:

1. Go to your editor.

2. Click the pro gallery element on your page.

3. Click Manage Media.

4. Click the image you want to edit in the Organize your gallery window.

5. Click the Edit Image icon

   

   on the right.

6. Edit the image using the Wix Photo Studio tools.

   

Yes. If you close the Organize your gallery window before clicking Done, any changes you made are saved. This includes reordering items, adding new media, or editing existing gallery item settings. Publish your site if you want the changes to be visible on your live site.

No. Currently it is not possible to restore items you deleted from your pro gallery. You must manually reupload them.
