Wix Pro Gallery: Adding and Managing Media in the Wix Mobile Apps
Using the Wix app or Studio app, you can manage all your galleries on the go. You can quickly and easily add new images to your gallery, reorder images, share your gallery with others, and more.
Adding media to a gallery
You can add media to your gallery any time using the mobile apps. This is a great way to capture images and videos in the moment and upload them on the go.
Wix app
Go to your site in the Wix app.
Tap Manage
at the bottom.
Tap Gallery.
Tap the More Actions icon
next to the relevant gallery.
Tap Manage Media.
Tap Add Media.
Tap All Media and choose where you'd like to upload your media from: Site media, Device, Free by Wix, etc.
Select the relevant file(s) and tap Next.
(Optional) Tap Edit and use the tools at the bottom to edit the file. Then tap Save and repeat for each file you want to edit.
Tap Next.
Wix Studio app
Go to the relevant workspace in the Wix Studio app.
Tap Sites
at the bottom.
Scroll through the site list and tap the relevant site, or enter the site name in the search bar at the top.
Tap Manage at the top.
Tap Gallery.
Tap the More Actions icon
next to the relevant gallery.
Tap Manage Media.
Tap Add Media.
Tap All Media and choose where you'd like to upload your media from: Site media, Device, Free by Wix, etc.
Select the relevant file(s) and tap Next.
(Optional) Tap Edit and use the tools at the bottom to edit the file. Then tap Save and repeat for each file you want to edit.
Tap Next.
Viewing and managing your galleries
While on the move, you may want to add or update the galleries on your site. You can manage the settings of all galleries directly from the mobile apps.
Wix app
Go to your site in the Wix app.
Tap Manage
at the bottom.
Tap Gallery.
Hide, show, and reorder galleries
Tap the Settings icon
and choose what you want to do:
Show / hide galleries: Tap the Show / Hide icon
next to the relevant gallery.
Reorder galleries: Tap the Reorder icon
next to the relevant gallery and drag it to your desired location.
Note: Hiding your gallery hides it from site members on the Spaces by Wix app, not your desktop site.
Tap Save.
Search through and select a gallery
The Wix app filters your galleries by all galleries, those displayed, those hidden and those created on the app.
Tap the All Galleries drop-down.
Tap an option to filter your galleries: All Galleries, Displayed, Hidden, or Mobile.
View gallery items, manage gallery settings, and manage media
Tap the More Actions icon
next to the relevant gallery.
Choose what you want to do:
View Gallery: View the photos of the gallery.
Manage Media: Hold, drag and drop to change the order of gallery items.
Manage Settings: Rename, and adjust the sharing, downloading, and display settings. Tap Save in the top right to apply your changes.
Create a gallery in the app
Tap + Create Gallery at the bottom.
Add your media and tap Next at the top right. Tap Next again.
Type a title for your gallery in the Title field.
Tap Create.
Delete a gallery
It is only possible to delete a gallery created in the Wix app. To delete a gallery created in the editor, head to the editor.
To delete a gallery created in the app:
Tap the More Actions icon
next to the relevant gallery.
Tap Delete Gallery.
Tap Delete to confirm.
Wix Studio app
Go to the relevant workspace in the Wix Studio app.
Tap Sites
at the bottom.
Scroll through the site list and tap the relevant site, or enter the site name in the search bar at the top.
Tap Manage at the top.
Tap Gallery.

Tap the Settings icon
and choose what you want to do:
Show / hide galleries: Tap the Show / Hide icon
next to the relevant gallery.
Reorder galleries: Tap the Reorder icon
next to the relevant gallery and drag it to your desired location.

Tap Save.

Create a gallery in the app
Tap + Create Gallery at the bottom.
Add your media and tap Next at the top right. Tap Next again.

Managing media in a gallery
You can manage the media inside a specific gallery from the mobile apps. Update your gallery on the go, by adding new images or videos, adding titles and descriptions and choosing where newly added items go.
Wix app
Go to your site in the Wix app.
Tap Manage
at the bottom.
Tap Gallery.
Tap the More Actions icon
next to the relevant gallery.
Tap Manage Media and choose what you want to do:
Reorder gallery items

Change the item's title / description
Tap the item and type your title and description in the relevant fields.
Tap Save.

Tap the Settings icon
on the top right.
Select the checkbox next to your choice.
Tap Save.
Delete media
Tap the relevant item.
Tap Delete at the bottom.
Tap Delete to confirm.

Tap Delete at the bottom.

Tap Select to select and delete multiple images.

Will galleries I add in the mobile apps also be added to my desktop and mobile sites?
Galleries created in the mobile apps are only visible in the mobile apps. However, the photos uploaded to them will appear in the site's Media Manager.
Which features are not customizable from the mobile apps?
The following pro gallery features in the Wix app are controlled by the pro gallery's settings in the desktop editor:

Can I add a title to my pro gallery?
You can add a title to your gallery in the mobile apps. The title is, however, only visible to Spaces by Wix app users. If you would like to be able to add a title to a pro gallery on your live site, vote for that feature.
To give your gallery a title in the Wix app:
Tap the More Actions icon
next to the relevant gallery.
Tap Manage Settings.
Tap the Gallery Name field and enter your gallery title.
Tap Save.
