Wix Pricing Plans: Changing the Price of a Subscription

Wix Pricing Plans lets you update the cost of any plan without creating a new one or disrupting active subscriptions. As your services or costs change, you can adjust a plan’s price directly from the dashboard.

Choose whether the new price applies only to future subscribers or to all existing subscribers on their next renewal.

Before you begin:

  • Make sure your pricing plan has an active subscription.

  • If you have an older version of the Pricing Plans app, make sure to update to the latest version to access subscription price changes.

The plan's new price affects existing subscribers only if you chose to apply the new price to both new and existing subscriptions (see step 4 of this article). In addition, the new price only affects all subscriptions if:

  • The subscriptions don't have coupons applied.

  • The subscription billing cycle matches plan cycle (e.g. when an existing 'Gold' plan has monthly charge, all subscriptions with monthly billing cycle will be affected).

  • There are upcoming billing cycles after 30 days.

The option to 'Change Price' is visible after a plan has an active subscription.

No. If a free or one-time plan has active subscriptions, its pricing strategy cannot be changed. Only recurring plans allow pricing strategy changes.
