What determines the language the email is sent in?
The email is determined by the language of the contact who is receiving the email. If the language of the contact doesn't match one of your site languages, the email defaults to the main site language. You can view a contact's language in Wix Contacts. Keep track of which languages are most used by your audience to prioritize your efforts.
Can I translate pre-installed automated emails as well as the ones I create?
Yes. You can translate both pre-installed automated emails and the automated emails that you created.
What if I have added a language but have not made it visible on my site?
If a language is not visible on your site, your automated emails will not be available for translation in that language.
Do I have to manually translate each version of my automated emails myself?
Yes, you will need to manually translate each language version of your automated emails.
What happens if I add more languages to my site after setting up this automation?
Once you make the new language live and visible on your site, you'll be able to edit the automation and access the version of that language.
