Wix Multilingual: Deleting Wix Multilingual from Your Site

If you no longer need the Wix Multilingual app on your site or wish to change your site's main language, you can completely remove it. Deleting the app will permanently erase all editor translations, and translations from any Wix apps you have installed.

Before removing Wix Multilingual, consider these precautionary measures:

• Duplicating your site so you'll have access to your previous translations, site design and layout.

• Exporting your translations so that you can reference or import translations back to your site after re-adding Wix Multilingual.

Deleting Wix Multilingual from your site

You can delete Wix Multilingual if you're sure you want to permanently remove all the translations from your site. You'll be taken to your editor to finish deleting the Wix Multilingual app if your site has visual elements that were translated.

Dashboard

1. Go to Manage Apps in your site's dashboard.

2. Click the More Actions icon

   

   next to Wix Multilingual.

3. Select Delete.

1. (Optional) If the app has visual elements on your site, click Go to Editor.

2. Enter a reason for deleting and click Delete App.

3. Publish your site so changes go live.

Wix Editor

1. Go to your editor.

2. Click Add Apps

   

   on the left side of the editor.

3. Click Manage Apps at the bottom.

4. Click the More Actions icon

   

   next to Wix Multilingual.

5. Click Delete.

6. Click the Why are you deleting this app? drop-down and select a reason.

7. (Optional) Type any additional feedback in the Details field.

8. Click Delete App.

9. Publish your site so changes go live.

Studio Editor

1. Go to your editor.

2. Click App Market

   

   on the left.

3. Click Manage Apps at the bottom of the panel.

4. Click the More Actions icon

   

   next to Wix Multilingual.

5. Click Delete.

6. Click the Why are you deleting this app? drop-down and select a reason.

7. (Optional) Type any additional feedback in the Details field.

8. Click Delete App.

9. Publish your site so changes go live.

How do I check how many word credits I have left?

When auto-translating your site, you automatically receive 3,000 free word credits. If you need to top up your word credits, you can choose from 3 translation packages; 3K Words, 10K Words or 50K Words.

1. Go to the Translation Manager in your site's dashboard.

2. Click Check word credit balance at the bottom-left of the Translation Manager.
