Wix Mobile Apps: Submitting Your App Changes to Apple and Google

When you make changes to your native app, you may have to resubmit the app for Apple and Google's approval depending on the type of update you made. For example, design changes must be re-approved.

However, when you make changes to your app content using the Wix app, they can be published without Apple or Google's approval.

After making changes, go to Mobile App in your dashboard. You'll see a prompt to resubmit with the message 'Submit your changes to Google/Apple'.

Changes to your app's design or store listing descriptions must be re-submitted to Apple and Google for approval. These changes include anything that comes before the member log in or visitor mode in your app.

• Launch screen: Changes to the design of your app's launch screen (what members see when the app loads).

Store listings

Since your app's store listings appear in both the App Store and Google Play, any content, icon, or category changes must be reviewed and approved by Apple and Google before the updated listings go live.

When you make app updates to your app's content or theme you can see the changes after publishing without having to resubmit your app. These changes include:

• Updates to the features and content of your app made from the Wix app.

• Updates to your app's design and theme.

Important:

Wix regularly updates your app in the App Store and Google Play. If your app is pending, rejected, or out of date, update and resubmit it as soon as possible. Keeping your app updated is essential, if you run an outdated version, some new features or Wix apps (such as Wix Stores or Bookings) might not work, and your app users could see error messages. How do I know if my app needs to be resubmitted for approval?

If your app needs to be resubmitted, Wix gets notified. We'll then inform you why your app has not been approved and ask you to make the necessary changes.

Once you've made the changes, you'll have to resubmit your app to Wix for approval, and then again to Apple and Google.
