Mobile apps for your customers

Wix Mobile Apps: Customizing Your Site on the Member Apps

Customize how your site looks on the Wix member apps (e.g. Spaces by Wix, Fit by Wix) using the mobile web editor in your mobile dashboard or directly from the Wix app. Your Wix member apps consist of different screens that resemble site pages. These screens display what your members see, allowing you to design each one with elements that represent your business, such as online programs, booking services, or product pages.

Design your screens with buttons and images to make your content stand out. For example, if you run a small online store and need to quickly update product details or post a new blog entry while you're out and about, you can easily do so through the Wix app.

Customizing the header

Your header is the first thing members see when they visit your site on the Wix member apps. Style it for your business by adding a unique logo and cover photo. You can choose what information to showcase and turn site visitors into members.

Some of the steps vary when you customize your site's header from desktop and the Wix app.

  1. Go to Mobile App in your site's dashboard.

  2. Click the relevant tab (e.g. Spaces by Wix app, Fit by Wix app).

  3. Click Edit Mobile App.

Wix Mobile Apps: Customizing Your Site on the Member Apps

No. The changes you make on the member apps from the web editor in your site's dashboard also appear on the Wix app.

The member apps do not support custom code or backend customization. If you’re looking for advanced features or want to add your own code, you can build your own native mobile app.

No, you need to have a Wix website to use the Spaces app. The Spaces app is connected to your site and lets your members engage with your community, access exclusive content, book services, and more. If you want a mobile app that’s not tied to a website, you can build your own native mobile app. Building your own app lets you customize your mobile experience and even submit your app to the App Store or Google Play for wider reach.

Invite your contacts to become members so they can log in and access your site’s exclusive content or connect via the Spaces app. When you set a contact as a member, they receive an invitation email to join.

To set a contact as a member:

  1. Go to Contacts in your site's dashboard.

  2. Click the relevant contact.

  3. Scroll down and click Member info under Overview.

  4. Click Set Contact as Member.

  5. Click Set Member.
