Wix Media: Viewing Your Site Files in Your Media Manager

In your Media Manager, you have a tab called Site Files. All your images, audio, videos, and documents, etc. that you upload while working on your site are housed here. You can view information relating to your files such as file size, type, resolution and more in the Media Manager.

Important:

Any media that your site collaborators upload is also added to this folder. This means that everyone who is working on your site has access to all the files in your Site Files folder.

Accessing your Site Files folder

Access your Site Files folder in the Media Manager of your site.

Wix Editor

1. Go to the editor.

2. Click Media

   

   on the left side of the editor.

3. Click Show More under Site Files.

Studio Editor

1. Go to the editor.

2. Click Media

   

   on the left side of the editor.

3. Click Site Files.

Wix app

1. Go to your site in the Wix app.

2. Tap Manage

   

   at the bottom.

3. Tap Media Manager under Settings.

4. Tap Site media.

Harmony Editor

1. Go to your editor.

2. Click the Wix dropdown at the top left of the editor.

3. Select Media Manager.

4. Click Site Files.

Viewing your files' information

You can view information about your files such as the file type, size, resolution, who added the file and more.

Wix Editor

1. Go to the editor.

2. Click Media

   

   on the left side of the editor.

3. Click Show More under Site Files.

4. Click the relevant file.

5. Click File Info on the right side.

1. Go to the editor.

2. Click Media

   

   on the left side of the editor.

3. Click Site Files.

4. Click the relevant file.

5. Click File Info on the right side.

Wix app

1. Go to your site in the Wix app.

2. Tap Manage

   

   at the bottom.

3. Tap Media Manager under Settings.

4. Tap Site media.

5. Tap the More Actions

   

   icon.

The Wix app provides limited file information. Find more file information in your editor.

Harmony Editor

1. Go to your editor.

2. Click the Wix dropdown at the top left of the editor.

3. Select Media Manager.

4. Click Site Files.

5. Click the relevant file.

6. Click File Info on the right side.

How can I check how much storage I'm using?

In the Media Manager, you can view the total storage your site has used at the bottom left. Hover over the Info icon

to check the remaining storage space available for your site. Learn more about viewing and managing your site's media storage.

Where do files uploaded by site visitors go?

Files uploaded by site visitors and site members are automatically added to the Visitor Uploads section of the Media Manager. You can see who uploaded a file in File Info section next to Added by.
