Wix Harmony Editor: Filtering and Sorting Items in Repeaters

Important:

We're working on releasing CMS in Wix Harmony, which is not yet available in all Wix accounts.

Choose which items your repeater shows, and in what order. Use filters to show only the items that match your conditions, and use sorts to arrange them (e.g. by name or number). You can find both in your repeater's Manage Items panel, so you can adjust your list as you design and see the results right away.

Filtering the items in your repeater

Filters show only the items that match conditions you set. For example, show only properties with a garden, or only posts with a title. Add more filters to narrow your list further.

Your collection keeps all its items when you filter. Only what your repeater displays changes. You can filter by 'Text', 'Rich Text', 'Number', 'Boolean', and 'URL' fields.

To filter your items:

1. Go to your editor.

2. Click your repeater, then click Manage Items.

1. Click Filter in the Items tab.

2. Select the field you want to filter by.

3. Select the condition items must match (for example, contains or is not empty). The available conditions depend on the field's type.

4. Enter the value items must match. Conditions like is empty and is not empty don't need one.

5. (Optional) Click + Add another filter to narrow your list further.

6. Click Apply when you're done.

Tip:

Removing a filter: Click the Remove filter icon

next to a filter, then click Apply.

Sorting the items in your repeater

Use sorts to control the order your items appear in. You can sort by 'Text', 'Number', 'Boolean', and 'URL' fields, and combine several sorts to set the exact order you want.

To sort your items:

1. Go to your editor.

2. Click your repeater, then click Manage Items.

3. Click Sort in the Items tab.

4. Select the field you want to sort by.

5. Select the sorting order (for example, A-Z or Z-A for text fields).

6. (Optional) Click + Add another sort to order items by another field. Items are sorted by your first sort, and matching items follow the next sort in your list.

7. Click Apply when you're done.

Tips:

• Changing sort priority: Drag a sort by its handle to change which sort applies first.

• Removing a sort: Click the Remove sort icon
