Wix Bookings: Displaying a Health Waiver in Your Mobile Apps

The Wix Health Waiver app will soon be replaced by the Wix Intake Forms app. Learn how to set up the Intake Forms app and add a waiver to business.

A health waiver protects your business and makes sure members understand important policies before joining activities or services.

You can add a health waiver to your mobile app, such as Spaces by Wix or your own mobile app, so members can view and sign it right from their phone.

Adding a health waiver in your mobile apps

Add a button for your health waiver in your mobile app so app users can access and fill out the form. Enter the URL of your waiver form and customize the button’s appearance to match your brand.

Dashboard

1. Add a health waiver to your site and copy the URL link of your health waiver.

2. Go to Mobile App in your site's dashboard.

3. Select the relevant tab (e.g. Spaces by Wix app, Your own mobile app).

4. Click Edit Mobile App.

5. Click the Screen drop-down at the top and choose the screen you want to edit.

6. Click Elements on the left.

7. Select Button, then drag the relevant button into place.

8. (Optional) Customize your button.

9. Scroll down to the Behavior section, click the Select action drop-down and select Open URL.

10. Paste the URL of your health waiver form under Button URL.

11. (Optional) Enter the text you want displayed on your button under Button text.

12. Click Publish.

Wix app

1. Add a health waiver to your site and copy the URL link of your health waiver.

2. Go to your site in the Wix app.

3. Tap Manage

   

   at the bottom.

4. Tap Mobile App.

5. (If needed) Switch to editing a different mobile app:

   1. Tap the mobile app name at the top.

   2. Tap the relevant mobile app.

      Tip: If you want to edit a different mobile app (e.g. Fit by Wix, Spaces by Wix), choose the app as your preferred mobile app.

6. Tap Edit.

7. Tap the Screen drop-down at the top and choose the screen you want to edit.

8. Tap + Add Element in the relevant location.

9. Tap Button under Basic items.

10. Customize your button.

11. Scroll down to the Behavior section, tap the Select action drop-down and select Open URL.

12. Paste the URL of your health waiver form under Button URL.

13. (Optional) Enter the text you want displayed on your button under Button text.

14. Tap Add. 

15. Tap Publish.

Wix Studio app

1. Add a health waiver to your site and copy the URL link of your health waiver.

2. Go to your site in the Wix Studio app.

3. Tap Mobile App.
