Pricing Plans: Limiting Your Blog to Members Who Purchased a Pricing Plan

With the Pricing Plans app, you can create and sell plans that limit your blog to plan holders.

Before you begin:

This article shows you how to limit your blog so that only people who purchased a pricing plan can access the feed and all of your posts. First, make sure to:

1. Add Wix Blog to your site.

2. Add the Pricing Plans app to your site.

3. Create the plans you want to offer on your site.

To limit access to your blog to visitors who purchased a pricing plan:

Wix Editor

1. Click Pages & Menu

   

   on the left side of the editor.

2. Click Blog Pages.

3. Hover over the Post page and click the More Actions icon

   

   .

4. Click Settings.

5. Click the Permissions tab.

6. Select Members only.

7. Select Only selected members or paying customers.

8. Click the Edit icon

   

   under Select from your Pricing Plans.

1. Select which pricing plans should have access and click Apply.

1. (Optional) Limit access to the blog and category feeds by repeating the steps above, selecting the Blog page in step 3.

Studio Editor

1. Click Pages

   

   on the left side of the editor.

2. Hover over the Post page and click the More Actions icon

3. Click Settings.

4. Click the Permissions tab.

5. Select Members only.

6. Select Only selected members or paying customers.

7. Click the Edit icon

   

   under Select from your Pricing Plans.

Wix Harmony Editor

1. Click the Page dropdown at the top left of the page.

2. (In the Site Pages panel) Select the Post page under Blog Pages.

3. (In the Site Pages panel) Hover over the Post page and click the More Actions icon

4. Click Settings.

5. On the Settings panel, click the Access tab.

6. Click Manage Access.

7. Select Members.

8. Select the Members with roles, plans or badges option.

9. Enable the Members with plans toggle.

10. Select the relevant plan or click + Add New Plan to create a new one.

11. Click Save.

To accept online payments through the Pricing Plans app, you need to upgrade your site.
