AI Marketing Agent: Understanding the Marketing Plan
The Marketing Plan in the AI Marketing Agent dashboard helps you keep track of your agent's marketing activities. It gives you everything you need to know about the content your agent is generating and how it's helping to promote your business.
Your personalized plan is split into a monthly content plan and the marketing strategy. The content plan lets you preview, review, and approve upcoming posts, while the marketing strategy highlights your brand’s big-picture approach.

Viewing and managing your content plan
Your content plan shows every piece of content that the AI Marketing Agent will prepare for each service you’ve activated - social posts, blogs, and emails. It uses your marketing settings to generate posts which you then review and approve. You can see what's coming up and make changes to the plan accordingly.
As each piece of content moves through the workflow, you can track its progress from the initial suggestion, to your review, to being scheduled for publishing, and finally to completion. If a post isn’t approved or there’s an issue with publishing, its status is updated so you always know what stage it’s in.
What does each status mean?
Idea: Any idea that the agent has not yet generated as content for review.
Draft: Content awaiting your approval or dismissal.
Note: Drafts pending your approval also show up in the dashboard as tasks for you. Once you approve or dismiss them, they are removed from the dashboard but always remain in the content plan.
Passed: Content whose publishing date has passed but was not approved by you.
Scheduled: Content that you approved and set for publication.
Published: Content that is live - posted on social media, sent via email, or published on your site.
Dismissed: Generated content that you dismissed and will not be published.
Couldn't publish: Content that was scheduled but wasn't published or delivered to recipients (e.g. due to a technical issue, connection error).
Tip: Go to the post in your dashboard to check the specific reason it failed.
Tip: Social posts can show multiple statuses, depending on if a post has been reviewed. For example, an approved Instagram post will show as Scheduled while other social channels that haven't been reviewed yet will show as Draft.

Click a question below to learn more.
How often does my content plan update?
A new content plan is automatically generated every month, on the last Wednesday of the month.
Is the marketing strategy just for reference, or does it affect content?
The marketing agent uses your strategy to shape the content it creates, keeping your messaging and goals consistent.
You can update your marketing strategy and keywords at any time. Click Settings at the top and choose what to update:
Manage settings: Update your goals, content focus, brand voice, and more.
Edit keyword research: Update your keywords to improve SEO.
How do the dashboard and content plan work together?
The AI Marketing Agent dashboard is where you'll find items that require your attention. For example, the agent will bring up posts that are pending your approval or any issues that need to be fixed.
Your content plan gives you the full picture on the posting schedule - it includes every stage from the initial idea to generating a draft, Scheduled, Published, or Dismissed. This way, you always have a bird's-eye view of everything that has happened or is planned for your marketing.
Can I add new content to the posting schedule?
If you want to create new content from scratch, go to the relevant app's tab in the dashboard (e.g. the Blog tab) and create and post the new content from there.
This is helpful if you thought of a new idea that the AI Marketing Agent did not include, but it doesn't add the content to the AI Marketing Agent's posting schedule.
