About Tax in Kazakhstan
Wix charges Value Added Tax (VAT) on our services to customers in Kazakhstan.
If you are a VAT registered business in Kazakhstan with a Business Identification Number (BIN) from the Kazakhstan State Revenue Committee, you may be eligible for a tax exemption.
You can add your BIN to your Wix account by updating your payment details. The tax exemption will apply to your next subscription payment.
Updating your payment details
Re-enter your payment details to add your tax ID and receive your tax exemption.
To update your payment details:
Go to Premium Subscriptions in your Wix account.
Click the More Actions icon
next to the relevant subscription.
Click Update payment method.
Choose the subscriptions you want to update and click Next.
Note: This option will only appear if you have other Wix subscriptions in your account.
Click Next after reviewing the plan details on screen.
Click Use another payment method.
Re-enter your card details and add your tax ID to the BIN field.
Click Update.

What is a BIN tax identification number?
A Business Identification Number (BIN) is a tax ID issued by the State Revenue Committee in Kazakhstan to businesses and organizations resident in Kazakhstan.
The BIN is a unique 12-digit number and is made up of five parts, which identify the type of entity and date of registration. The 5th digit in a valid BIN will always be 4, 5, or 6.
What happens if I do not have a tax identification number?
If you do not have a tax identification number, Wix will charge and collect VAT on payments for subscriptions, applications and products.
How does Wix determine which customers are subject to tax?
The tax charge is based on the billing account address.
