About Tax in Canada
Wix charges tax on our services to customers in Canada in accordance with the Canada Revenue Agency's sales tax measures.
Depending on your location, you may be subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST), Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), Provincial Sales Tax (PST), Québec Sales Tax (QST), or a combination of some of these taxes.
If you are a GST/HST registered business in Canada with a GST/HST number from the Canada Revenue Agency, you may be eligible for a tax exemption.
If you are also a QST registered business in Canada with a QST ID, you may be eligible for a QST exemption.
You can add your GST/HST number and your QST number to your Wix account by updating your payment details.
For users in British Columbia, PST applies even if you add a GST/HST number.
