About AI Credits
Wix offers a suite of innovative AI tools, many of which are free and can be used without AI credits. However, to enhance your experience and best cater to your brand and business needs, some AI-powered agents and tools require AI credits to use.
All new Wix Premium plans include AI credits. Credits can be used in products like Smart Chat, AI Custom Agent, AI Marketing Agent, AI Phone Agent, and Wixel to optimize your business’s operations, support your customers, and create on-brand designs. If you use Wix with a free plan, you’ll receive a limited number of daily AI credits.

While Wix’s AI is designed to deliver the best possible results, outcomes may vary and we can’t guarantee that AI-generated outputs will meet a specific level of quality, accuracy, or relevance. Make sure to review all outputs before using or publishing them.
Understanding your AI credits
When you purchase a new Premium plan, your Wix account automatically receives AI credits. These credits refresh every month based on your plan’s purchase date, and any unused credits from the previous month expire at that time. On free plans, your AI credits reset each day (up to a maximum of 120 credits per month).

Credits apply to your entire Wix account, not just the site connected to your Premium plan. You can use them for any AI tasks across different sites or products in the Wix ecosystem.
Important:
When you purchase a Premium plan that includes AI credits, you are entitled to use those credits for certain designated AI features. AI credits are not a digital currency, security, commodity, or any other kind of financial instrument and are not redeemable for any cash value. AI credits are only redeemable for the specified AI features across the Wix ecosystem.
Wix reserves the right at any time to change the credit cost, the number of credits required for using AI features, and the AI tools that use credits.
Using your AI credits
The exact number of actions you can take and how many credits each action uses is not guaranteed. The cost of an AI prompt or action depends on the length and complexity of your request and which tool you’re using.
The credit cost is calculated after an action is completed. You can check your remaining credit balance in your account after completing the action.
The table below gives an estimated cost for each feature that uses credits. These numbers are based on standard models and the average complexity of a request, and are provided as examples only.

Chatting with Aria (Wix’s AI agent) is free and does not use AI credits.

* Calls taken by the AI Phone Agent consume credits based on the length of the call. Total charges can vary. Silent calls or calls where a customer disconnects before speaking are not charged credits.
Important:
Some tools include automated features which might use up your credits without you taking action directly. For example, an auto-email triggered by a customer, an AI chat conversation with a site user, or marketing content automatically generated by the AI Marketing Agent.
Checking your AI credit balance
Check your AI credit balance at any time by clicking your profile at the top right of your account. You can see your current credit balance in the AI credit balance window, as well as the date your credits will renew.
If you have more than 1 site plan with an AI credit allowance, the credits due to expire soonest will be used first.
Tip:
Depending on the AI tool you use, it can take time for credits to be deducted from your balance. If you don’t see your balance updated right away, wait up to 15 minutes before checking again.
Renewing your AI credits
Unused AI credits do not roll over to the next credit cycle. Your credits automatically reset each month, and your account is topped up with the number of credits included in your plan.
Free plan: You can use up to 30 credits per day, up to a maximum of 120 credits per month. Credits renew each day until you have used a total of 120 credits in a single month.
Wix Premium plans: Credits renew monthly based on the date you purchased your plan. For example, if you purchased a plan on January 10, your credits renew on the 10th of every month.

You can upgrade your plan at any time for more monthly credits, or add credits directly to your account.
Tips for saving AI credits
Stretch your credits further and avoid hitting your AI credit limit too soon with the tips below. You can save credits and have more control over your credit usage by making every AI action count, keeping them for more unique and complex tasks.
Be specific with your requests
When sending a request, explain exactly what you want and give a detailed description. The more descriptive you are, the better the outcome will match your expectations. For example, if you’re creating an automation with AI Custom Agent, explain how often you need the task to happen, clearly state when it needs to happen, and be as specific as possible about the criteria that need to be met to trigger the action.
Make small edits manually
Use Wix’s built-in design tools to handle quick changes yourself. For simple tasks like changing background colors, resizing elements, or swapping out placeholder images, use the tools on the action bar instead of AI.
Keep an eye on your credits
You can see how many AI credits you have left in your cycle by clicking your profile at the top right of your account. If you’re running out of credits, switch to manual edits for smaller tasks or pause any automations you have set up.

Can I buy more AI credits without upgrading?
No, you need to upgrade your plan to purchase more AI credits. It is not currently possible to buy top-up credits for Wix Premium plans.
Note: If you have a Wixel subscription, you can purchase top-up credits for your Max plan.
Can I get my AI credits back if I’m not satisfied with the result?
Once AI credits are used for a request, they cannot be returned, even if the result does not match your expectations. If you think AI credits were deducted incorrectly, contact Wix Customer Care.
When is my next billing or renewal date?
You can find your renewal date and plan details on your Premium Subscriptions page.
What happens to my credits if I change my plan?
You can change your plan to a higher or lower tier at any time. When you change to a higher tier plan, your current credit balance is deleted and you receive a new, higher credit balance for your new plan.
When you change to a lower tier plan, your balance is capped to the new allocation of credits. Depending on your current balance and how many credits you have already used, you may see fewer credits in your wallet after switching to a lower tier plan.
What happens to my credits if I transfer a site to another Wix account?
Your AI credits are connected to your Premium plan, so it depends on whether or not you transfer the plan together with the site during the transfer process.
When you transfer a site with a plan, any remaining credits connected to your plan will transfer to the new owner. If you choose to transfer the site without a plan, your credits will stay in your account and will not be transferred.
What happens to my credits if I cancel my plan within 14 days?
Wix offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for new Premium site plans. If you cancel your plan within the 14-day money-back guarantee period, you lose any unused AI credits connected to the canceled plan.
Can site collaborators spend my credits?
Currently, only Admin (Co-Owner) and Owner roles c an use and view AI credits. AI actions taken by collaborators with these roles will deduct AI credits from the site owner’s AI credit balance.
This only applies to AI actions for that specific site, and a collaborator can only take certain actions if they have the relevant role and permissions. Learn how to check a site collaborator's role.
How do AI credits work with the AI Marketing Agent’s social media and email marketing quotas?
AI credits and social media/email marketing quotas work together but serve different purposes:
AI credits power the AI Marketing Agent’s automated features, such as creating personalized content plans, generating social media posts, optimizing blog posts, and conducting keyword research.
Social media and email marketing quotas govern how many posts or campaigns you can publish or send, whether created manually or by the AI Marketing Agent.
For example, if you’re on a free plan with 10 social posts per month:
The AI Marketing Agent uses AI credits to generate personalized post content for you
Once you approve a post, it counts toward your 10-post social media quota
Both systems coexist to give you the best experience. You can upgrade your social media plan or email marketing plan to increase your quotas, and upgrade your site plan to get more AI credits.
Do I get AI credits with a Wix Studio plan?
No, sites built with Wix Studio can currently access AI features at no additional cost. Only Wix Premium plans come with AI credits at this time.
What other important information do I need to know about using AI credits?
