  • Wix Bookings: Managing Multiple Video Conferencing Links | Wix Expert

< Back Managing your business Business solutions & apps Wix Bookings: Managing Multiple Video Conferencing Links Run multiple online video sessions for your services with Wix Bookings. When you first add video conferencing (VC) to a service, connect either a Google Meet , Zoom account or a custom link such as Google Hangouts . This account becomes your default video conferencing option until you add more VC accounts. Link your services to any VC provider by using a custom link. Enter the URL, password, and any other needed information when prompted to connect your VC provider. Important: Upgrade your site to use video conferencing. All services use the same default video conferencing link, or a staff member’s link if assigned. You can’t set a different video conferencing link for each service. The benefits, call hours and participant limits for video conferencing depend on the provider you use (Google Meet, Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.) and are not controlled by Wix. Setting up your own VC accounts You can set up your default VC account within any of your services in the Booking Services tab or in the Staff tab . Tip: If you have multiple Wix sites, you can set a different default VC account for each site. To setup your default VC account: Go to Booking Services in your site's dashboard. Note : Skip to step 4 below to set up your VC account from your Staff in your site's dashboard. Click on a service. Scroll down to the Locations section. Click the Add button in the Video Conferencing section (or Edit in the Staff Tab). Choose your preferred type of VC connection: Google Meet: Click Continue . Sign in to your Google Meet account and follow the on-screen instructions. When ready, click Got it . Zoom : Click Continue . Click Continue to proceed. Sign in to your Zoom account and follow the on-screen instructions. Custom Link : Fill in the required fields for the Custom Link. When ready, click Connect . Important: If you disconnect your main VC account, VC links no longer appear for any sessions, even if your staff have their own individual VC accounts. Setting up your staff VC accounts Your business can then offer multiple online services at the same time. If a staff member is assigned to a specific service, then their VC account will be used instead of the main VC account for this service. Tip: Your staff can manually add or remove the Zoom links from any of their sessions at any time. This is useful for last-minute changes to services, where an online service becomes an in-person one, and vice versa. To set up your staff VC accounts: Go to Staff in your site's dashboard. Hover over the relevant staff member profile and click Edit . Click Add Individual Account next to Video conferencing account under Staff settings. Choose the relevant video conferencing account and click Continue . Staff managing their own VC accounts Your staff members can add and manage their own VC links using their staff accounts on your site. Share the steps below with your staff members, so they can set up and manage their own VC links themselves. Important: You must connect a default video conferencing account before your staff can add their own VC links. For staff to set up their own VC account: Go to Booking Calendar in your site's dashboard. Click the Manage dropdown at the top and select Set personal video conferencing . Choose the relevant video conferencing account and click Continue . Managing your VC links VC links for appointments and classes depend on the specific session and staff member details . Courses use your site's default VC link for all sessions unless a custom VC link is added in the calendar. You must first save and create at least one session for the service to create a VC link . Note: Editing a VC link updates all past and future sessions of the course. You must manually notify clients that still have an old link. Choose what you want to do: Create a VC link Go to Booking Calendar in your site's dashboard. Select the relevant online service Click Add Now . Copy the VC link from the confirmation window and send it to your clients or staff members. Update an existing VC link You can edit individual meeting links for existing services and previously booked sessions. For example, if you or one of your staff is sick and wants to host a session remotely, you can change an existing VC link for that specific session. Go to the appointment in your booking calendar . Click the More Actions icon . Click Change to Custom Link . Add the Meeting Link URL : (Optional) Add the link Passcode . (Optional) Add the Description . Select the Notify participants with an email checkbox to inform your clients of the change in VC link. Restore an original VC link Go to Booking Calendar in your site's dashboard. Select the service with the link you wish to restore. Click the More Actions icon . Click Restore Default Link . Remove a custom VC link Go to the Staff Page . Click Edit on the staff member whose custom link you wish to delete. Click the Delete icon in the Video Conferencing section of their staff profile. Note: You can also add a VC link to any session that was previously offline. Removing VC links from your automated emails You have complete control over how your clients access VC links. You can remove VC links from your booking confirmation emails. To remove VC links from automated emails: Go to Booking Settings in your site's dashboard. Click Emails & SMS notifications . Click Edit next to Send clients an email confirmation when they book under Notifications you send . Scroll down to Create an email and click Edit under the preview image. FAQs Click a question below to learn more about WebGL effects in the Studio Editor. Do WebGL effects work on touchscreen devices? Some WebGL effects require a mouse cursor, so they won't show up on touch devices: Noisy track , RGB orb and Liquify can only be triggered by mouse movement. In this case, you can switch to a different effect to resolve the issue. In Slitscan and RGB split , you choose what triggers the effect. If mouse movement is your sole trigger, the effect is disabled on touch devices. To make the effect appear, add another trigger (e.g. Autoplay). The Ripples effect is set to autoplay on any device, so it shows up on touch screens with no action needed on your part. Why is the option to add WebGL effects grayed out in my editor? There could be several reasons: You might have added a GIF background, which does not support WebGL effects. You might have set your media background to Tiles (under Fitting options ). To change the fit of the background: Select the relevant section. Click the Open Inspector icon at the top right of the editor. Scroll down to Fitting options under Design . Select Original size or Scale to fill . This article is credited to the Wix team - https://support.wix.com/ and we thank them for that! Previous Next Need An AI Run Website? Contact Us Today! Submit

  • Wix Smart Chat: Understanding AI Data Coverage | Wix Expert

< Back Managing your business Managing your customers Wix Smart Chat: Understanding AI Data Coverage AI data coverage gives you a clear view of what the AI knows about your site and where its knowledge comes from. You can see which site content has been indexed and where there may be issues that prevent the AI from learning about your site. Use this information to optimize your site and improve the AI's performance. Viewing your data coverage See how all available site content is indexed. When content is indexed, it means the AI has scanned, analyzed, and stored this information so it can use it to answer your visitors' queries. This content may include site pages, your store products, blog posts, services, events, online programs, and training rules you've added. To view your data coverage: Go to Smart Chat in your site's dashboard. Click the Manage drop-down and select Data coverage . Review the content the AI has indexed from your site. For each content type, you’ll see the following information: Data type: The type of site content analyzed (e.g. products, site pages, blog posts). Total on site: The total number of items per type on your site. Available for indexing: How many pages or items on your site the AI can potentially learn from. Indexed: How many pages or items were successfully indexed by the AI. Status: A checkmark indicates the AI has completed scanning the pages. Tip: The AI is automatically trained using your site's publicly available content. However, you can add training rules with information that isn't published on your site, such as internal policies or product details. Limitations for indexing pages Not all content on your site is available for the AI to learn from. Some pages are restricted for privacy reasons, while others may be skipped due to how they’re set up or where their content comes from. Review these limitations to understand what content cannot be used: Content that can't be indexed Some types of pages and content are excluded from indexing, either due to privacy restrictions or current technical limitations. Examples may include: Hidden pages: Not publicly available or linked anywhere on your site. Password-protected pages: Content behind passwords can’t be accessed. Member area pages: Content restricted to site members only is skipped. Dynamic pages: Pages generated from collections are currently not supported. Content that may be skipped Even among content that can be indexed, some pages or items may be skipped due to technical reasons, content structure, or app limitations. Examples may include: Checkout, cart, or thank-you pages: These are pages with no useful content for the AI chat. App-based pages: Some apps (e.g. Wix Restaurants) don't expose full data in a format the AI can use. Third-party apps: Not all external apps allow their content to be indexed. Empty or duplicate pages: Pages with little to no text or repeat content may be skipped automatically. Note: Support for more content types and apps is coming in future updates. Understanding your site's coverage level At the top right of the page you’ll see a status bar that shows how successfully your content was indexed out of all the items available for indexing. This helps you understand how well the AI is managing to collect information and learn from your site. Here's what your coverage signifies: Good coverage: Most of your site content has been successfully indexed. The AI can give complete and accurate responses. Average coverage: A moderate amount of your content has been indexed. The AI can answer many questions, but some gaps in knowledge may still exist. Low coverage: Only a small portion of your content has been indexed. You may want to review your site for hidden, restricted, or unsupported pages. How can I improve my coverage? Check if your site contains empty, hidden, or dynamic pages that could affect that amount of content successfully indexed. If possible, make more content public. Add more text and details to your site pages. The more text you provide, the more the AI has to learn from. Create knowledge rules to give the AI more information about topics that don't appear directly on your site. This expands the AI’s ability to answer more questions accurately. FAQs Click a question below to learn more about data coverage. Can I prevent certain pages from being indexed? Yes, you can exclude specific site pages if you don’t want the AI to learn from them. Learn how to exclude site pages . Does the AI learn from private or internal documents? No, the AI only learns from published, public content on your site. You can also add training rules with information that isn’t published on your site, such as internal policies or product details. Learn how to train your AI chat .
