Who can use Wix Studio?
Wix Studio is perfect for anyone who manages multiple sites or works with various teams and agencies. If you're an agency or enterprise already using Wix, you have the option to switch your account to a Wix Studio account.
Do I need to pay for Wix Studio?
No additional payment is required to use Wix Studio. You only pay for Premium subscriptions as usual. Learn more about Wix Studio Premium plans.
If I switch to Wix Studio, what will happen to everything in my existing Wix account?
No need to worry! When you switch to Wix Studio, everything you've already done in Wix will come along with you, including your sites, contacts and subscriptions. You will also still have access to all the previous features you used (and more!) and will be able to create sites using the Wix Editor, and of course, the new Studio Editor.
What will happen to my sites when I switch to Studio?
Once you switch to Wix Studio, all your existing sites move to the new workspace where you can view, manage, and edit them as usual. Sites built with the Wix Editor won't be updated to the Studio Editor, but you can still create new ones in the Wix Editor after switching to Wix Studio.
Can I edit my existing Wix Editor sites with the Studio Editor?
No, it is not possible to edit a site created in the Wix Editor in the Studio Editor. In order to transfer a Wix Editor site to the Studio Editor, you have to rebuild it from scratch. However, you can access the same media files you used in the Wix Editor in the Studio Editor with your Media Manager by adding your media to a board.
If you do not want to rebuild your site from scratch, you can still edit it in the Wix Editor, even after you switch. You can also create new sites in the Wix Editor after switching to Wix Studio.
Can I create sites using the Studio Editor without switching to Wix Studio?
No, if you want to create sites using the Studio Editor then you need to switch to Wix Studio (see above).
Can I manage a site built in the Studio Editor without switching to Wix Studio?
Yes, you can manage a site created in the Studio Editor without switching to the Wix Studio workspace. Here's how:
Ownership transfer: If someone transfers a site built with the Studio Editor to you, you can manage the site without needing to switch to Wix Studio. As the new owner, you will have access to the site's dashboard and editing capabilities.
Collaboration invitation: If someone invites you to collaborate on a site built in the Studio Editor, you can manage the site as a collaborator without switching to Wix Studio. You will have access to the features necessary for your assigned role.
Switching back to the Wix experience: If you switched to Wix Studio, created a site in the Studio Editor, and then switched back to the regular Wix experience, you can still manage the site without needing to switch back to Wix Studio. The site will be accessible from your Sites page, and you can edit it using the Studio Editor.
Note: You can only duplicate a site from the Wix Studio workspace if you're the owner of site.
Can I be part of a Wix Studio workspace without switching to Wix Studio?
