Verifying Your Site with Bing Webmaster Tools

Verifying your site with Bing Webmaster Tools gives you access to data and insights that can help improve your site's performance and visibility. You can verify your site using the Wix SEO Assistant, or under Site Verification in your dashboard.

Verifying your site with Bing

Connect your site to Bing Webmaster Tools from your dashboard using the SEO Assistant, or by adding a meta tag to your Wix site.

To verify your site with Bing:

SEO Assistant

1. Go to SEO & GEO in your site's dashboard.

2. Click View tasks below Issues.

1. Click Connect this site to Bing Webmaster Tools to expand it.

2. Click Connect to Bing.

1. Select the account you want to connect and click Continue.

2. Click Allow.

Bing Meta Tag

1. Sign in to your Bing Webmaster Tools account.

2. Enter your site's URL under Add your site manually.

1. Click Add.

2. Copy the meta tag under HTML Meta Tag.

   Important: The code in the image below is a sample code. To get your code, you must sign in to your own Bing account.

1. Leave Bing Webmaster Tools open.

2. In a new tab, go to SEO & GEO in your site's dashboard.

3. Scroll down to Tools and settings.

4. Select Site Verification.

5. Click Bing Webmaster Tools.

6. Paste the meta tag under Site verification tag.

1. Click Save.

2. Go back to Bing Webmaster Tools.

3. Click Verify.

4. Click Done.
