Email Marketing: Creating a Campaign with Your Own HTML

Use your own HTML to build an email campaign, instead of starting from a template or designing one in the email marketing campaign editor. Paste in code you already have or upload an HTML file, then send it to your contacts like any other campaign.

To create a campaign with your own HTML:

1. Go to Email Marketing in your site's dashboard.

2. Click Create Email at the top right.

3. Click Start with HTML.

4. Paste your own HTML into the panel and/or click the Upload HTML icon

   

   to add your own code.

5. (Optional) Add content to your code using the icons at the top of the HTML panel:

   • Images: Click the Image icon

     

     to add an image from your site files.

   • Personalized content: Click the Personalized content icon

     

     to add a value that changes for each recipient, such as Contact First Name. Enter fallback text to show when the value is missing.

6. Continue setting up your campaign by adding recipients and sending it out.

Tip:

To reuse your code in future campaigns, click the Save as template icon

at the top right.
