Getting your ad approved by Google Ads
There are a few reasons why Google may disapprove an ad campaign. Follow the steps below to give your ad campaign the best chance at getting approved by Google Ads.
1. Make sure your campaign content is compliant
Google has a set of policies that prohibit some content that may be considered harmful to users and the overall advertising ecosystem.
If you believe your ad could fall under one of these categories, make sure to review Google Ads Policies.
2. Verify that the ad follows Google's editorial requirements
Quoting Google Documentation, “In order to provide a quality user experience, Google requires that all ads, extensions, and destinations meet high professional and editorial standards. We only allow ads that are clear, professional in appearance, and that lead users to content that is relevant, useful, and easy to interact with.”

3. Verify that the destination is working and in accordance of Google’s destination requirements
Your website or the location you're connecting to via the ad must be accessible. If your domain is experiencing connectivity issues, resolve them with the Wix Domain Assistant.

Fixing issues when Google gives specific error details
Review the most common error message details you may receive from Google below:
Googlebot Can’t Crawl or Verify Your Site
If you received an email from Google about not being able to crawl your site because of robots.txt, you can test the robots.txt file by navigating to your Google Search Console and following the steps below.
Log in to the Google Search Console.
Choose the correct property.
Type the URL that was detected and blocked by robots.txt.
Click Test.

If Google shows "Allowed" when you test the file, this means that the robots.txt file is not blocking the Google bot. In this case, resubmit your campaign to Google.
Google has requested for a URL to be removed from my website
Important: In order to resolve this issue, the URLs must be specific to the component and not refer to a site page similar to mydomain.com/page.
Verify that the URL was not added via an HTML iFrame.
Verify the URL was not added via Custom Code.
Note: Sometimes Wix Components may be flagged as "malicious software" in error. If so, skip to the next section to see how to resolve this.
Google has flagged an app added via the App Market (not created by Wix)
The apps in the Wix App Market are managed by their correspondent developers. For these scenarios:
Please access the App Market.
Search and select the application causing the issue.
Click the Developers tab.
Contact the app developers.
Fixing issues when Google flags Wix components as malicious software
Google uses a combination of automated and human evaluation to ensure Google Ads comply with their policies. That said, there is a possibility for Wix internal sources to be flagged as false positives.
These internal sources are core components and cannot be removed, as they are required for the normal operation of your website. They do not contain any malware or malicious content and are falsely flagged by Google.
How to resolve false positives with Google
Scan your site using both VirusTotal and Google Transparency Report to detect any malicious content.
If no malicious content is detected, submit an appeal to Google, or call Google Ads phone support, and ask them to manually re-crawl your site to detect false positives. Include screenshots from your scan to support your case.
If Google no longer detects malicious content, they will no longer mark the Wix components as malicious and your ad campaigns can resume as normal.
