Wix Pipelines: Customizing Your Pipelines
Wix Pipelines let you organize each stage of your business process, so you can track deals, tasks, or projects from start to finish. A pipeline is a series of customizable stages such as "New Lead," "In Progress," or "Completed," designed to fit your team’s workflow. Use pipelines to move work forward, automate key actions, and measure results in one place.
Customizing your pipeline settings
Use your pipeline settings to shape how work flows for your team. You can rename the pipeline, add or edit stages, choose the main action button for each stage, and review any connected automations. This keeps your process aligned with your business and helps cards move forward without missing key steps.
To customize your pipeline settings:
Go to Pipelines in your site's dashboard.
Select the relevant pipeline from the drop-down at the top.
Click Pipeline Settings.
Choose what to do next:
Rename
Click the relevant stage and edit the stage name.
Add a stage
Click + Add Stage.
Click your new untitled stage.
Customize your stage as needed (see the 'Customize a stage' drop-down below).

Click the relevant stage.
Choose what you want to customize next:
Main action button: Use the drop-down to select an action for cards in this stage (e.g., Message contact, Edit card).
Stage automations: Edit automations connected to the stage. Choose what you want to do next:
Enable or disable automations: Click the [automation name] toggle to enable or disable the automation.
Create automations: Click + Create automation to add another automation.
Edit an existing automation: Click the More Actions icon
next to the relevant automation and choose what you want to do next:
Active: Enable or disable the automation.
Edit: Change the automation’s details.
Duplicate: Make a copy of the automation.
Rename: Update the automation’s name.
View run log: See recent activity for the automation.
Delete: Remove the automation from this stage.
Tip:
You can also rename your pipeline by clicking the pipeline name at the top of the page.
Customizing your pipeline cards
Customize your cards to keep every lead and deal clear, organized, and up to date. From the card’s edit view, you can adjust details like value, stage, outcome, assignee, due dates, custom fields, linked assets, and tags so each card reflects its real status. This helps you see what is happening at a glance and know exactly what to do next.
To customize your pipeline cards:
Go to Pipelines in your site's dashboard.
Select the relevant pipeline from the drop-down at the top.
Choose what you want to do next:
Perform quick actions on a card
Click the More Actions icon
on the relevant card.
Choose what you want to customize next:
Edit card: Change the card’s details, such as name, value, or due date.
Update outcome: Set or change the outcome for this card (i.e. 'Won' or 'Lost').
Assign card: Choose the team member responsible for this card.
Move to: Move the card to a different stage in the pipeline.
Mark as done: Complete the card and move it to the 'Done' stage.
Message contact: Send a message to the contact linked to the card.
Create pay link: Generate a pay link connected to this card.
Create proposal: Create a proposal for this lead or client.
Create price quote: Create a price quote and link it to the card.
Create invoice: Issue an invoice for this lead or client.
Create order: Create an order connected to this card. This option is relevant for Wix Stores, Wix Bookings, and Wix Restaurants Orders (New) orders.
Delete card: Remove the card from the pipeline.
Edit a card's details
Click the More Actions icon
on the relevant card.
Select Edit card.
Choose what you want to customize on the card:
Card name: Edit the name that appears on the card in your pipeline.
Value: Update the deal value or amount for this card.
Description: Add or edit notes about the lead or deal.
Custom fields:
Due on: Set or change the due date for this card.
Add field: Create additional custom fields to track details that matter to you.
Manage: Edit or remove existing custom fields for this pipeline.
Linked assets: Connect related Wix assets (e.g. pay links, invoices, price quotes, orders) so everything stays organized under this card.
Status: Use the Status section to update where a card belongs and what happens next by changing its pipeline, stage, and outcome (Not set, Won, or Lost). You can also adjust who owns the work, how important it is, and when to follow up by updating the assignee, priority, and due date.
Linked contact: View or change the contact connected to this card, or remove the link if needed.
Tags: Add tags to cards so you can group, filter, and organize your work. Choose what to do next:
View existing tags on the card.
Click Assign tags to add or remove tags to help you filter and stay organized.
More Actions: Click the More Actions icon
at the top of the card and choose what you want to do:
Create pay link: Generate a pay link and connect it to this card.
Create proposal: Create a proposal for this lead or client.
Create price quote: Open a new price quote and link it to the card.
Create invoice: Issue an invoice for this lead or client.
Create order: Create an order and associate it with the card.
Delete card: Permanently remove the card from the pipeline.
