Wix Inbox: Managing Your Inbox Settings
Wix Inbox helps you personalize your business communications and control team access to your messages. Customize email details to match your brand, such as your sender identity and email signature, and set permissions so your team can work together smoothly.

Customizing your email template
Personalize your outgoing emails by editing the subject line, sender identity, and your individual email signature. These settings help you maintain a consistent, professional image when communicating with you r customers.
Tip:
These settings apply to to emails you write on your own, and not to automated emails sent by Wix.
To customize your email template:
Go to Inbox in your site's dashboard.
Click the Settings dropdown at the top right.
Select Inbox Settings.
Choose what you want to customize:
Subject line
Enter the subject line for ever y email you send. This is shared among all site collaborators, meaning any change made will reflect for anyone sending emails.
Sender identity
Your sender identity is what appears as the 'sender' of every email you send from Wix Inbox. The identity type that you select will apply to all inbox collaborators, however each collaborator will use their own name when sending emails.
Select an option for the sender identity:
Sender name: The name of the team member who sent the message will appear (e.g. "Jane").
Business or website name: The name of your business or website will appear (e.g. "Ava Homeware"). Learn how to edit your business name.
Sender name + business or website name: Both the sender name and your business or website name will appear (e.g. 'Jane from Ava Homeware').
Tip: You can also personalize your sender identity for live chat messages you send to visitors through Wix Chat. This helps your messages feel more friendly and on-brand, just like your emails from Wix Inbox.
Collaborator email signature
Enter your email signature and use the toolbar to style the text. This signature is unique to each inbox collaborator. Each person can set their own signature or choose to remove it entirely.
5. Click Save Changes at the top right.

Tip:
Use the email preview on the right to check how your email will look to recipients.

FAQs
Click a question to learn more about your Inbox settings.
Why don't I see the 'Inbox collaborators' and 'Automations' tabs?
The Inbox collaborators tab is only visible to site owners. The Automations tab only appears when you have active automations running for your Inbox & Chat.
What can my site collaborators do?
Your collaborators can access and work in different parts of your site depending on the roles and permissions you've granted them.
For example, you could have a collaborator working on your site design who has no need to access your inbox, and a colla borator working in your inbox who has no need to access your site pages. If they have inbox permissions, they can view and answer messages, and make their own email signature.
Learn more about roles and permissions.
What if I want a collaborator to work in my inbox but I don't want to assign the Back Office Manager role?
The Back Office Manager role is assigned by default if you add a collaborator to your inbox. However, you can remove this role from the collaborator and create a custom role with the exact actions you'd like them to carry out on your site.
Follow these steps to create a custom role. Make sure you select Message via Inbox & Chat (under Customer Management) if you'd like to include these permissions.

Can I manage which notifications my team receives?
There are certain notifications you can manage for all Inbox collaborators, such as for Wix Chat. For other types of notifications, each Inbox collaborator manages them personally through their Notification Preferences page. Learn more about Inbox notifications.
Which email address does it use as my sender address?
Your sender address is the email address you connect to Wix Inbox, such as a Gmail or Outlook account or a Google Workspace business email. All outgoing emails from your site (for example, contact form replies or store order updates) are sent from this address.
Note:
You must connect an email channel before setting up outgoing email settings.
If you purchased a business email other than a Google Workspace one, you won't be able to set this up as your sender address.
Can I manage spam messages in my inbox?
Yes, you can mark messages in your inbox as spam or report messages in your spam folder as not spam.
