Wix Loyalty Program: Managing Your Customers' Loyalty Points

Manage your customers' points from your Loyalty Program dashboard or on the go from the Wix app. Give points wherever you are, view each customer's points balance, and add or remove points based on offline purchases, recent promotions, and more.

You can also view a list of all customers who have loyalty points, see their points activity and check their membership status. Only customers who are site members can redeem loyalty points for rewards. If their status is 'visitor' or 'pending' they first need to join your site.

See how many total points have been earned and redeemed in your loyalty program so far. This includes all points customers have earned by taking actions on your site, as well as points you have manually given from the dashboard.

Customers can earn points even if they haven't joined your loyalty program. These points still count towards the total points given. Customers can only redeem points once they become site members.

Customers automatically receive an email when they reach the threshold for a reward, whether they earned points through purchases or you manually added points to their account.

The email is only sent when the customer crosses the reward threshold. It will not be sent if the threshold isn’t reached, or if the customer already had enough points to redeem a reward before receiving extra points.

Loyalty points are given for the subtotal amount of the order and taxes, which doesn’t include delivery fees.

If the subtotal isn’t a whole number, the earned loyalty points are always rounded down to the nearest whole point.

Adjusting a customer's points balance may impact their loyalty or activity status, or notifications they receive.

These are the ways it may affect your loyalty program:

  • Customers can enter a new tier, but won't receive an email about it.

  • Customers may receive additional loyalty program emails (e.g. a welcome email or rewards eligibility update).

  • (If points expiration is enabled) If you give points to a customer who previously had no points, this date becomes their last activity date. It will be used to calculate when the points will expire.

Tip: This will not affect the points expiration date for customers who already earned or redeemed points, but it will update their last activity date.

Yes, you can set up an automation to automatically give loyalty points to customers when a certain event happens. For example, you can automatically award points on customers' birthdays or when they book a session.

Yes, you can import points for customers from any 3rd party loyalty provider and import them into your Wix Loyalty Program with a CSV file. You can also export points by downloading your customers' loyalty points data.
