Wix Logo: About SVG Logo Files

Since vector files (SVG) are infinitely scalable and do not lose their quality when resized, they are the recommended file type to use when printing your logo. Scale them up or down without compromising quality, and use them in contexts as small as a business card or as large as a billboard.

Your SVG files will automatically open in your browser when you preview them, unless you have Adobe Illustrator or other software supporting SVG files installed on your computer.

SVG files are very big, so you may need to zoom out using " CTRL -" (PC) or " CMD -" (Mac) to view the file in full.

SVG files can be resized without any quality loss. You can use such software as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop to resize your files. If you don't have access to this software, you can use a free online alternative like iloveimg.com.

Currently, all SVG logo files come with a transparent background by default to ensure your logo looks good in all places (e.g. mugs, t-shirts, business cards). If you would like to download SVG Wix Logo Files with a background color, vote for that feature.

Tip: If you want to use a logo file with your chosen background color, you can use one of the PNG files that come in your downloaded ZIP file. Keep in mind that PNG files may lose quality if you resize them.

Yes, you can upload SVG files downloaded from the Wix Logo Maker to your Media Manager. However, SVG files created in the Wix Logo Maker with uploaded images cannot be uploaded to the Wix Media Manager.
