Wix Hotels by HotelRunner: Connecting HotelRunner iCal to Your Site

iCal integrations allow you to sync your calendar's availability across multiple platforms seamlessly. These integrations ensure that your availability is up-to-date by transmitting your Wix Hotels by HotelRunner calendar to the HotelRunner iCal.

You can only import calendars from services that support exporting in iCal format. The sync is one-way, transferring data from Wix Calendar to iCal. Imported rates will not appear directly in the calendar but can be viewed by selecting the reservation and scrolling to the Payment Details section.

Notes:

The number of iCal channels you can connect depends on your site's plan. To connect more channels, upgrade your site's plan.
Currently, it is not possible to sync Wix Hotels by HotelRunner with Google Calendar using an iCal connection.

Importing your HotelRunner iCal to your site

Import your HotelRunner iCal to keep your availability up to date and avoid double bookings.

To import your HotelRunner iCal:

Go to Channel Manager in your site's dashboard.
Search for iCal option and click Connect.
Select Send from the drop-down next to the relevant rooms in the Room type mapping tab.

Copy the Export URL for each room and paste it to the external iCal.
Click Next to move to the Activation tab.

Ensure that your rooms mappings are all accurate, and that you have set your export URLs correctly.
Click Activate after pasting the links to the external iCal settings.

Yes, you will need to manually update any reservations received from iCal channels in your Wix Hotels by HotelRunner calendar. Rates and restrictions must be managed directly from the iCal extranet.

How do I set up iCal integrations if I have multiple room types?

If you have multiple room types, you must add a different iCal URL for each room type.

How many channel manager connections can I add?

The number of external connections you can set up in the Channel Manager depends on your site's premium plan. To connect more, upgrade your site.
