Wix POS: About the POS Premium Plan for POS Register and POS Go
Important:
POS Premium plans apply to POS Register and POS Go.
If you started using Wix POS Go before September 22, 2026, you can continue without this plan. If you start using Wix POS Go on or after that date, you need to upgrade to this plan.
Wix POS Register is available only in the US, UK and Canada.
To start selling using the Wix POS system, upgrade to a POS Premium plan. Upgrading lets you take advantage of the complete range of features and options POS devices have to offer.

Accept all types of payments
To accept payment by credit/debit card, gift card, or manual card entry, you need to upgrade to a POS Premium plan.
Tip: Without upgrading, you can only accept cash payment with your POS device. On the New Wix POS and Wix POS Go, cash payments are limited to a total of $10,000 without upgrading. Wix POS Register has no cash limit.
Add staff members
Upgrade to add more staff members to your team. Each team member can set their own passcode to log in to the POS device.
Note: The maximum number of staff members is determined by your site upgrade (see the FAQ section below for more details).
Edit order
Add, remove, or change the products in a customer's order.
Track staff member hours
Stay on top of your business by tracking your staff members' hours. View the hours each staff member puts in during a time period or select a staff member to view additional tracking details.
Redeem loyalty points
If you created a loyalty program, customers can earn and redeem loyalty points in your online store. With the POS Premium plan, customers can also earn and redeem loyalty points at your brick-and-mortar business. Learn more about creating a loyalty program

What kinds of payments can I accept without a POS Premium plan?
Without upgrading you can only accept cash payments with your POS device. On the New Wix POS and Wix POS Go, cash payments are limited to a total of $10,000; Wix POS Register has no cash limit.
Does my site need a Wix Premium plan if I already upgraded to a POS Premium plan?
Yes. Upgrading your site to a Premium plan or Studio plan allows you to sell online and much more.
How many staff members can I add with a POS Premium plan?
Wix offers a variety of Premium plan or Studio plan upgrades, each of which allows a different number of site collaborators. The maximum number of staff members cannot be more than the number of collaborators allowed with your plan.
To check how many collaborators your plan allows:
Go to Roles & Permissions in your site's dashboard.
Click Invite Collaborators.
View the maximum number of emails it's possible to send.
